The AD8675 precision operational amplifier has ultralow offset, drift, and voltage noise combined with very low input bias currents over the full operating temperature range. The AD8675 is a precision, wide bandwidth op amp featuring rail-to-rail output swings and very low noise. Operation is fully specified from ±5 V to ±15 V.The AD8675 features a rail-to-rail output like that of the OP184, but with wide bandwidth and even lower voltage noise, com-bined with the precision and low power consumption like that of the industry-standard OP07 amplifier. Unlike other low noise, rail-to-rail op amps, the AD8675 has very low input bias current and low input current noise. With typical offset voltage of only 10 μV, offset drift of 0.2 μV/°C, and noise of only 0.10 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the AD8675 is perfectly suited for applications where large error sources cannot be tolerated. For applications with even lower offset tolerances, the proprietary nulling capability allows a combination of both device and system offset errors up to 3.5 mV (referred to the input) to be compensated externally. Unlike previous circuits, the AD8675 accommodates this adjustment without adversely affecting the offset drift, CMRR, and PSRR of the amplifier. Precision instrumentation, PLL, and other precision filter circuits, position and pressure sensors, medical instrumentation, and strain gage amplifiers benefit greatly from the very low noise, low input bias current, and wide bandwidth. Many systems can take advantage of the low noise, dc precision, and rail-to-rail output swing provided by the AD8675 to maximize SNR and dynamic range. The smaller packages and low power consumption afforded by the AD8675 allow maximum channel density or minimum board size for space-critical equipment. The AD8675 is specified for the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The AD8212 is a high common-mode voltage, current shunt monitor. It accurately amplifies a small differential input voltage in the presence of large common-mode voltages up to 65 V (>500 V with an external PNP transistor). The AD8212 is ideal for current monitoring across a shunt resistor in applications controlling loads, such as motors and solenoids. The current output of the device is proportional to the input differential voltage. The user can select an external resistor to set the desired gain. The typical common-mode voltage range of the AD8212 is 7 V to 65 V.Another feature of the AD8212 is high voltage operation, which is achieved by using an external high voltage breakdown PNP transistor. In this configuration, the common-mode range of the AD8212 is equal to the breakdown of the external PNP transistor. Therefore, operation at several hundred volts is easily achieved. The AD8212 features a patented output base current compensation circuit for high voltage operation mode. This ensures that no base current is lost through the external transistor and excellent output accuracy is maintained regardless of common-mode voltage or temperature.Applications Current shunt measurement Motor controls DC-to-DC converters Power supplies Battery monitoring Remote sensing

AD8227ARMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8227 is a low cost, wide supply range instrumentation amplifier that requires only one external resistor to set any gain between 5 and 1000.The AD8227 is designed to work with a variety of signal voltages. A wide input range and rail-to-rail output allow the signal to make full use of the supply rails. Because the input range can also go below the negative supply, small signals near ground can be amplified without requiring dual supplies. The AD8227 operates on supplies ranging from ±1.5 V to ±18 V (2.2 V to 36 V single supply). The robust AD8227 inputs are designed to connect to real-world sensors. In addition to its wide operating range, the AD8227 can handle voltages beyond the rails. For example, with a ±5 V supply, the part is guaranteed to withstand ±35 V at the input with no damage. Minimum as well as maximum input bias currents are specified to facilitate open wire detection. The AD8227 is ideal for multichannel, space-constrained applications. With its MSOP package and 125°C temperature rating, the AD8227 thrives in tightly packed, zero airflow designs. The AD8227 is available in 8-pin MSOP and SOIC packages. It is fully specified for −40°C to +125°C operation. For a similar instrumentation amplifier with a gain range of 1 to 1000, see the AD8226.ApplicationsIndustrial process controlsBridge amplifiersMedical instrumentationPortable data acquisitionMultichannel systems
