AD5664RBRMZ-3

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5624R/AD5644R/AD5664R, members of the nanoDAC® family, are low power, quad, 12-/14-/16-bit buffered voltage-out DACs. All devices operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and are guaranteed monotonic by design. The AD5624R/AD5644R/AD5664R have an on-chip reference. The AD56x4R-3 has a 1.25 V, 5 ppm/°C reference, giving a full-scale output range of 2.5 V; the AD56x4R-5 has a 2.5 V, 5 ppm/°C reference giving a full-scale output range of 5 V. The on-chip reference is off at power-up, allowing the use of an external reference; all devices can be operated from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. The internal reference is enabled via a software write. The part incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures the DAC output powers up to 0 V and remains there until a valid write takes place. The part contains a per-channel power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 480 nA at 5 V and provides software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode. The low power consumption of this part in normal operation makes it ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The AD5624R/AD5644R/AD5664R use a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 50 MHz, and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards. The on-chip precision output amplifier enables rail-to-rail output swing.Product Highlights Quad 12-/14-/16-bit DACs. On-chip 1.25 V/2.5 V, 5 ppm/°C reference. Available in 10-lead MSOP; 10-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP_WD; and 12-ball, 1.665 mm × 2.245 mm WLCSP. Low power, typically consumes 1.32 mW at 3 V and 2.25 mW at 5 V.Applications Process controls Data acquisition systems Portable battery-powered instruments Digital gain and offset adjustment Programmable voltage and current sources Programmable attenuators

AD7706BRUZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7705 / AD7706 are complete analog front ends for low frequency measurement applications. These 2-/3-channel devices can accept low level input signals directly from a transducer and produce serial digital output. The devices employ a Σ-Δ conversion technique to realize up to 16 bits of no missing codes performance. The selected input signal is applied to a proprietary, programmable-gain front end based around an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by an on-chip digital filter. The first notch of this digital filter can be programmed via an on-chip control register, allowing adjustment of the filter cutoff and output update rate. The AD7705 / AD7706 devices operate from a single 2.7 V to 3.3 V or 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply. The AD7705 features two fully differential analog input channels; the AD7706 features three pseudo differential input channels. Both devices feature a differential reference input. Input signal ranges of 0 mV to 20 mV through 0 V to 2.5 V can be incorporated on both devices when operating with a VDD of 5 V and a reference of 2.5 V. They can also handle bipolar input signal ranges of ±20 mV through ±2.5 V, which are referenced to the AIN(−) inputs on the AD7705 and to the COMMON input on the AD7706.The AD7705 / AD7706 devices, with a 3 V supply and a 1.225 V reference, can handle unipolar input signal ranges of 0 mV to 10 mV through 0 V to 1.225 V. The devices can accept bipolar input ranges of ±10 mV through ±1.225 V. Therefore, the AD7705 / AD7706 devices perform all signal conditioning and conversion for a 2-channel or 3-channel system. The AD7705 / AD7706 are ideal for use in smart, microcontroller, or DSP-based systems. The devices feature a serial interface that can be configured for 3-wire operation. Gain settings, signal polarity, and update rate selection can be configured in software using the input serial port. The parts contains self-calibration and system calibration options to eliminate gain and offset errors on the part itself or in the system. CMOS construction ensures very low power dissipation, and the power-down mode reduces the standby power consumption to 20 μW typ. These parts are available in a 16-lead, wide body (0.3 inch), plastic dual in-line package (DIP); a 16-lead, wide body (0.3 inch), standard small outline (SOIC) package; and a low profile, 16-lead, thin shrink small outline package (TSSOP).

AD7825BRZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7822 / AD7825 / AD7829 are high speed, 1-, 4-, and 8-channel, microprocessor-compatible, 8-bit analog-to-digital converters with a maximum throughput of 2 MSPS. The AD7822 / AD7825 / AD7829 contain an on-chip reference of 2.5 V (2% tolerance); a track-and-hold amplifier; a 420 ns, 8-bit half-flash ADC; and a high speed parallel interface. The converters can operate from a single 3 V ± 10% and 5 V ± 10% supply. The AD7822 / AD7825 / AD7829 combine the convert start and power-down functions at one pin, that is, the CONVST pin. This allows a unique automatic power-down at the end of a conversion to be implemented. The logic level on the CONVST pin is sampled after the end of a conversion when an EOC (end of conversion) signal goes high. If it is logic low at that point, the ADC is powered down. The AD7822 and AD7825 also have a separate power-down pin (see the Operating Modes section). The parallel interface is designed to allow easy interfacing to microprocessors and DSPs. Using only address decoding logic, the parts are easily mapped into the microprocessor address space. The EOC pulse allows the ADCs to be used in a stand-alone manner (see the Parallel Interface section.)The AD7822 and AD7825 are available in 20-lead and 24-lead, 0.3' wide, plastic dual in-line packages (PDIP); 20-lead and 24-lead standard small outline packages (SOIC); and 20-lead and 24-lead thin shrink small outline packages (TSSOP). The AD7829 is available in a 28-lead, 0.6' wide PDIP; a 28-lead SOIC; and a 28-lead TSSOP.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Fast Conversion Time. The AD7822 / AD7825 / AD7829 have a conversion time of 420 ns. Faster conversion times maximize the DSP processing time in a real-time system. Analog Input Span Adjustment. The VMID pin allows the user to offset the input span. This feature can reduce the requirements of single-supply op amps and take into account any system offsets. FPBW (Full Power Bandwidth) of Track-and-Hold. The track-and-hold amplifier has an excellent high frequency performance. The AD7822 / AD7825 / AD7829 are capable of converting full-scale input signals up to a frequency of 10 MHz. This makes the parts ideally suited to subsampling applications. Channel Selection. Channel selection is made without the necessity of writing to the part.APPLICATIONS Data acquisition systems, DSP front ends Disk drives Mobile communication systems, subsampling applications
