AD7663ASTZ

Analog Devices Inc.
Based on the Pulsar core, the AD7663 is a bipolar 16-bit, 250 kSPS, charge redistribution SAR Analog-to-Digital Converter that operates from a single 5 V power supply. It contains a high-speed 16-Bit sampling ADC, a resistor input scalar that allows various input ranges, an internal conversion clock, error correction circuits, and both serial and parallel system interface ports. The AD7663 is hardware factory-calibrated and is comprehensively tested to ensure such ac parameters as signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and total harmonic distortion (THD), in addition to themore traditional dc parameters of gain, offset, and linearity. It is fabricated using Analog Devices’ high performance, 0.6 micronCMOS process and is available in a 48-lead LQFP and a tiny48-lead LFCSP with operation specified from –40°C to +85°C.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Fast Throughput The AD7663 is a 250 kSPS charge redistribution, 16-bit SAR ADC with various bipolar and unipolar input ranges. Single-Supply Operation The AD7663 operates from a single 5 V supply and dissipates only 35 mW typical. Its power dissipation decreases with the throughput to, for instance, only 15 µW at a 100 SPS throughput. It consumes 7 µW maximum when in power-down. Superior INL The AD7663 has a maximum integral nonlinearity of 3 LSB with no missing 16-bit code. Serial or Parallel Interface Versatile parallel (8 bits or 16 bits) or 2-wire serial interface arrangement compatible with both 3 V or 5 V logic.APPLICATIONS Data Acquisition Motor Control Communication Instrumentation Spectrum Analysis Medical Instruments Process Control

EVAL-AD5371EBZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5371 contains 40 14-bit DACs in a single 80-lead LQFP or 100-ball CSP_BGA. The device provides buffered voltage outputs with a span of 4? the reference voltage. The gain and offset of each DAC can be independently trimmed to remove errors. For even greater flexibility, the device is divided into five groups of eight DACs. Three offset DACs allow the output range of the groups to be adjusted. Group 0 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 0, Group 1 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 1, and Group 2 to Group 4 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 2.The AD5371 offers guaranteed operation over a wide supply range, with VSS from ?16.5 V to ?4.5 V and VDD from 9 V to 16.5 V. The output amplifier headroom requirement is 1.4 V operating with a load current of 1 mA.The AD5371 has a high speed serial interface that is compatible with SPI, QSPI?, MICROWIRE?, and DSP interface standards and can handle clock speeds of up to 50 MHz. It also has a 100 MHz low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) serial interface. The DAC registers are updated on reception of new data. All the outputs can be updated simultaneously by taking the LDAC input low. Each channel has a programmable gain and an offset adjust register to allow removal of gain and offset errors. Each DAC output is gained and buffered on chip with respect to an external SIGGNDx input. The DAC outputs can also be switched to SIGGNDx via the CLR pin.APPLICATIONS Level setting in automatic test equipment (ATE) Variable optical attenuators (VOA) Optical switches Industrial control systems Instrumentation

The LTC1286/LTC1298 are micropower, 12-bit, successive approximation sampling A/D converters. They typically draw only 250?A of supply current when converting and automatically power down to a typical supply current of 1nA whenever they are not performing conversions. They are packaged in 8-pin SO packages and operate on 5V to 9V supplies. These 12-bit, switched-capacitor, successive approximation ADCs include sample-and-holds. The LTC1286 has a single differential analog input. The LTC1298 offers a software selectable 2-channel MUX.On-chip serial ports allow efficient data transfer to a wide range of microprocessors and microcontrollers over three wires. This, coupled with micropower consumption, makes remote location possible and facilitates transmitting data through isolation barriers. These circuits can be used in ratiometric applications or with an external reference. The high impedance analog inputs and the ability to operate with reduced spans (to 1.5V full scale) allow direct connection to sensors and transducers in many applications, eliminating the need for gain stages.Applications Battery-Operated Systems Remote Data Acquisition Battery Monitoring Handheld Terminal Interface Temperature Measurement Isolated Data Acquisition

The LTC2486 is a 4-channel (2-channel differential), 16-bit, No Latency ??? ADC with Easy Drive? technology. The patented sampling scheme eliminates dynamic input current errors and the shortcomings of on-chip buffering through automatic cancellation of differential input current. This allows large external source impedances and rail-to-rail input signals to be directly digitized while maintaining exceptional DC accuracy. The LTC2486 includes programmable gain, a high accuracy temperature sensor, and an integrated oscillator. This device can be configured to measure an external signal (from combinations of 4 analog input channels operating in single ended or differential modes) or its internal temperature sensor. It can be programmed to reject line frequencies of 50Hz, 60Hz, or simultaneous 50Hz/60Hz, provide a programmable gain from 1 to 256 in 8 steps, and configured to double its output rate. The integrated temperature sensor offers 1/2?C resolution and 2?C absolute accuracy. The LTC2486 allows a wide common mode input range (0V to VCC), independent of the reference voltage. Any combination of single-ended or differential inputs can be selected and the first conversion after a new channel selection is valid.Applications Direct Sensor Digitizer Direct Temperature Measurement Instrumentation Industrial Process Control
