AD7705BNZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7705 / AD7706 are complete analog front ends for low frequency measurement applications. These 2-/3-channel devices can accept low level input signals directly from a transducer and produce serial digital output. The devices employ a Σ-Δ conversion technique to realize up to 16 bits of no missing codes performance. The selected input signal is applied to a proprietary, programmable-gain front end based around an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by an on-chip digital filter. The first notch of this digital filter can be programmed via an on-chip control register, allowing adjustment of the filter cutoff and output update rate. The AD7705 / AD7706 devices operate from a single 2.7 V to 3.3 V or 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply. The AD7705 features two fully differential analog input channels; the AD7706 features three pseudo differential input channels. Both devices feature a differential reference input. Input signal ranges of 0 mV to 20 mV through 0 V to 2.5 V can be incorporated on both devices when operating with a VDD of 5 V and a reference of 2.5 V. They can also handle bipolar input signal ranges of ±20 mV through ±2.5 V, which are referenced to the AIN(−) inputs on the AD7705 and to the COMMON input on the AD7706.The AD7705 / AD7706 devices, with a 3 V supply and a 1.225 V reference, can handle unipolar input signal ranges of 0 mV to 10 mV through 0 V to 1.225 V. The devices can accept bipolar input ranges of ±10 mV through ±1.225 V. Therefore, the AD7705 / AD7706 devices perform all signal conditioning and conversion for a 2-channel or 3-channel system. AD7887ARZ-REEL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7887 is a high speed, low power, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply. The AD7887 is capable of 125 kSPS throughput rate. The input track-and-hold acquires a signal in 500 ns and features a single-ended sampling scheme. The output coding for the AD7887 is straight binary, and the part is capable of converting full power signals of up to 2.5 MHz.The AD7887 can be configured for either dual- or single-channel operation via the on-chip control register. There is a default single-channel mode that allows the AD7887 to be operated as a read-only ADC. In single-channel operation, there is one analog input (AIN0) and the AIN1/VREF pin assumes its VREF function. This VREF pin allows the user access to the part’s internal 2.5 V reference, or the VREF pin can be overdriven by an external reference to provide the reference voltage for the part. This external reference voltage has a range of 2.5 V to VDD. The analog input range on AIN0 is 0 to VREF.In dual-channel operation, the AIN1/VREF pin assumes its AIN1 function, providing a second analog input channel. In this case, the reference voltage for the part is provided via the VDD pin. As a result, the input voltage range on both the AIN0 and AIN1 inputs is 0 to VDD.CMOS construction ensures low power dissipation of typically 2 mW for normal operation and 3 μW in power-down mode. The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are dual-port, high speed, 2-channel, 10-/12-/14-bit CMOS DACs. Each part integratestwo high quality TxDAC+® cores, a voltage reference, and digital interface circuitry into a small 48-lead LQFP. The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 offer exceptional ac and dc performancewhile supporting update rates of up to 125 MSPS.The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 have been optimized forprocessing I and Q data in communications applications. Thedigital interface consists of two double-buffered latches as well as control logic. Separate write inputs allow data to be written to the two DAC ports independent of one another. Separate clocks control the update rate of the DACs.A mode control pin allows the AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 to interface to two separate data ports, or to a single interleavedhigh speed data port. In interleaving mode, the input datastream is demuxed into its original I and Q data and then latched. The I and Q data is then converted by the two DACsand updated at half the input data rate. The GAINCTRL pin allows two modes for setting the full-scale current (IOUTFS) of the two DACs. IOUTFS for each DAC can be set independently using two external resistors, or IOUTFS for both DACs can be set by using a single external resistor. See theGain Control Mode section for important date codeinformation on this feature. The DACs utilize a segmented current source architecturecombined with a proprietary switching technique to reduce glitch energy and maximize dynamic accuracy. Each DAC providesdifferential current output, thus supporting single-ended or differential applications. Both DACs of the AD9763, AD9765, or AD9767 can be simultaneously updated and can provide anominal full-scale current of 20 mA. The full-scale currentsbetween each DAC are matched to within 0.1%.The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are manufactured on anadvanced, low cost CMOS process. They operate from a singlesupply of 3.3 V to 5 V and consume 380 mW of power.Product HighlightsThe AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are members of a pin-compatible family of dual TxDACs providing 8-, 10-, 12-, and 14-bit resolution.Dual 10-/12-/14-Bit, 125 MSPS DACs. A pair of high performance DACs for each part is optimized for low distortion performance and provides flexible transmission of I and Q information.Matching. Gain matching is typically 0.1% of full scale, and offset error is better than 0.02%.Low Power. Complete CMOS dual DAC function operates on 380 mW from a 3.3 V to 5 V single supply. The DAC full-scalecurrent can be reduced for lower power operation, and a sleepmode is provided for low power idle periods.On-Chip Voltage Reference.
