AD4007BRMZ-RL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD4003/AD4007/AD4011 are high accuracy, high speed, low power, 18-bit, Easy Drive, precision successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that operate from a single power supply, VDD. The reference voltage, VREF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage. The AD4003/AD4007/AD4011 power scales linearly with throughput. Easy Drive features reduce both signal chain complexity and power consumption while enabling higher channel density. The reduced input current, particularly in high-Z mode, coupled with a long signal acquisition phase, eliminates the need for a dedicated ADC driver. Easy Drive broadens the range of companion circuitry that is capable of driving these ADCs (see Figure 2 in the data sheet).Input span compression eliminates the need to provide a negative supply to the ADC driver amplifier while preserving access to the full ADC code range. The input overvoltage clamp protects the ADC inputs against overvoltage events, minimizing disturbances on the reference pin and eliminating the need for external protection diodes. Fast device throughput up to 2 MSPS allows users to accurately capture high frequency signals and to implement oversampling techniques to alleviate the challenges associated with antialias filter designs. Decreased serial peripheral interface (SPI) clock rate requirements reduce digital input and output power consumption, broadens digital host options, and simplifies the task of sending data across digital isolation. The SPI-compatible serial user interface is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V logic by using the separate VIO logic supply.APPLICATIONS Automated test equipment Machine automation Medical equipment Battery-powered equipment Precision data acquisition systems Instrumentation and control systems

AD7124-8BCPZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7124-8 is a low power, low noise, completely integratedanalog front end for high precision measurement applications. The device contains a low noise, 24-bit Σ-Δ analog-to-digitalconverter (ADC), and can be configured to have 8 differentialinputs or 15 single-ended or pseudo differential inputs. The onchiplow gain stage ensures that signals of small amplitude canbe interfaced directly to the ADC.One of the major advantages of the AD7124-8 is that it gives theuser the flexibility to employ one of three integrated powermodes. The current consumption, range of output data rates, and rms noise can be tailored with the power mode selected. The device also offers a multitude of filter options, ensuring thatthe user has the highest degree of flexibility. The AD7124-8 can achieve simultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hzrejection when operating at an output data rate of 25 SPS (singlecycle settling), with rejection in excess of 80 dB achieved at loweroutput data rates. The AD7124-8 establishes the highest degree of signal chainintegration. The device contains a precision, low noise, lowdrift internal band gap reference and accepts an externaldifferential reference, which can be internally buffered. Otherkey integrated features include programmable low drift excitationcurrent sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator, which sets the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2.The low-side power switch enables the user to power downbridge sensors between conversions, ensuring the absoluteminimal power consumption of the system. The device alsoallows the user the option of operating with either an internalclock or an external clock. The integrated channel sequencer allows several channels to beenabled simultaneously, and the AD7124-8 sequentially convertson each enabled channel, simplifying communication with thedevice. As many as 16 channels can be enabled at any time, achannel being defined as an analog input or a diagnostic suchas a power supply check or a reference check. This uniquefeature allows diagnostics to be interleaved with conversions. The AD7124-8 also supports per channel configuration. Thedevice allows eight configurations or setups. Each configurationconsists of gain, filter type, output data rate, buffering, andreference source. The user can assign any of these setups on achannel by channel basis. The AD7124-8 also has extensive diagnostic functionalityintegrated as part of its comprehensive feature set. Thesediagnostics include a cyclic redundancy check (CRC), signalchain checks, and serial interface checks, which lead to a morerobust solution. These diagnostics reduce the need for externalcomponents to implement diagnostics, resulting in reducedboard space needs, reduced design cycle times, and cost savings. The failure modes effects and diagnostic analysis (FMEDA) of atypical application has shown a safe failure fraction (SFF) greaterthan 90% according to IEC 61508.The device operates with a single analog power supply from 2.7 Vto 3.6 V or a dual 1.8 V power supply. The digital supply has arange of 1.65 V to 3.6 V. It is specified for a temperature rangeof −40°C to +125°C. The AD7124-8 is housed in a 32-leadLFCSP package.Note that, throughout this data sheet, multifunction pins, suchas DOUT/RDY, are referred to either by the entire pin name orby a single function of the pin, for example, RDY, when onlythat function is relevant.Applications Temperature measurement Pressure measurement Industrial process control Instrumentation Smart transmitters

This filter has a flat pass band (±0.005 dB ripple)from dc to 102.4 kHz at 256 kSPS, from dc to 51.2 kHz at 128 kSPS, or from dc to 12.8 kHz at 32 kSPS. The AD7768/AD7768-4 also offer sinc response via a sinc5 filter, a low latency path for low bandwidth, and low noisemeasurements. The wideband and sinc5 filters can be selected and run on a per channel basis. Within these filter options, the user can improve the dynamicrange by selecting from decimation rates of ×32, ×64, ×128,×256, ×512, and ×1024. The ability to vary the decimation filtering optimizes noise performance to the required inputbandwidth.Embedded analog functionality on each ADC channel makesdesign easier, such as a precharge buffer on each analog inputthat reduces analog input current and a precharge reference buffer per channel reduces input current and glitches on thereference input terminals. The device operates with a 5 V AVDD1A and AVDD1B supply,a 2.25 V to 5.0 V AVDD2A and AVDD2B supply, and a 2.5 V to 3.3 V or 1.8 V IOVDD supply (see the 1.8 V IOVDD Operationsection for specific requirements for operating at 1.8 V IOVDD).The device requires an external reference; the absolute inputreference voltage range is 1 V to AVDD1 − AVSS.The specified operating temperature range is −40°C to +105°C. The device is housed in a 10 mm × 10 mm, 64-lead low profile quad flat package (LQFP) with a 12 mm × 12 mm printed circuit board (PCB) footprint.APPLICATIONS Data acquisition systems: USB/PXI/Ethernet Instrumentation and industrial control loops Audio test and measurement Vibration and asset condition monitoring 3-phase power quality analysis Sonar High precision medical electroencephalogram (EEG)/electromyography (EMG)/electrocardiogram (ECG)

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7779 is an 8-channel, simultaneous sampling ADC.There are eight full Σ-Δ ADCs on chip. The AD7779 providesan ultralow input current to allow direct sensor connection. Eachinput channel has a programmable gain stage allowing gains of1, 2, 4, and 8 to map lower amplitude sensor outputs into thefull-scale ADC input range, maximizing the dynamic range ofthe signal chain. The AD7779 accepts VREF from 1 V up to 3.6 V.The analog inputs accept unipolar (0 V to VREF/GAIN) or truebipolar (±VREF/GAIN/2 V) analog input signals with 3.3 V or±1.65 V analog supply voltages. The analog inputs can beconfigured to accept true differential, pseudo differential, or singleendedsignals to match different sensor output configurations. Each channel contains an ADC modulator and a sinc3, lowlatency digital filter. An SRC is provided to allow fine resolutioncontrol over the AD7779 ODR. This control can be used inapplications where the ODR resolution is required to maintaincoherency with 0.01 Hz changes in the line frequency. The SRCis programmable through the serial port interface (SPI). TheAD7779 implements two different interfaces: a data outputinterface and SPI control interface. The ADC data outputinterface is dedicated to transmitting the ADC conversionresults from the AD7779 to the processor. The SPI interfaceis used to write to and read from the AD7779 configurationregisters and for the control and reading of data from the SARADC. The SPI interface can also be configured to output theΣ-Δ conversion data. The AD7779 includes a 12-bit SAR ADC. This ADC can be usedfor AD7779 diagnostics without having to decommission one ofthe Σ-Δ ADC channels dedicated to system measurement functions. With the use of an external multiplexer, which can becontrolled through the three general-purpose inputs/outputs pins(GPIOs), and signal conditioning, the SAR ADC can be used tovalidate the Σ-Δ ADC measurements in applications wherefunctional safety is required. In addition, the AD7779 SAR ADCincludes an internal multiplexer to sense internal nodes. The AD7779 contains a 2.5 V reference and reference buffer. The reference has a typical temperature coefficient of 10 ppm/°C.The AD7779 offers two modes of operation: high resolutionmode and low power mode. High resolution mode provides ahigher dynamic range while consuming 10.75 mW per channel;low power mode consumes just 3.37 mW per channel at areduced dynamic range specification. The specified operating temperature range is −40°C to +105°C,although the device is operational up to +125°C.APPLICATIONS Circuit breakers General-purpose data acquisition Electroencephalography (EEG) Industrial process control
