Analog Devices Inc.
The ADE7816 is a highly accurate, multichannel metering device that is capable of measuring one voltage channel and up to six current channels. It measures line voltage and current and calculates active and reactive energy, as well as instantaneous rms voltage and current. The device incorporates seven sigma-delta (?-?) ADCs with a high accuracy energy measurement core. The six current input channels allow multiple loads to be measured simultaneously. The voltage channel and the six current channels each have a complete signal path allowing for a full range of measurements. Each input channel supports a flexible gain stage and is suitable for use with current transformers (CTs). Six on-chip digital integrators facilitate the use of the Rogowski coil sensors. The ADE7816 provides access to on-chip meter registers via either the SPI or I2C interface. A dedicated high speed interface, the high speed data capture (HSDC) port, can be used in conjunction with I2C to provide access to real-time ADC output information. A full range of power quality information, such as overcurrent, overvoltage, peak, and sag detection, is accessible via the two external interrupt pins, IRQ0 and IRQ1.The ADE7816 energy metering IC operates from a 3.3 V supply voltage and is available in a 40-lead LFCSP that is Pb free and RoHS compliant.

The LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 are 12-/14-/16-bit, 50Msps differential current output DACs implemented on a high performance BiCMOS process with laser trimmed, thin-film resistors. The combination of a novel current-steering architecture and a high performance process produces DACs with exceptional AC and DC performance. The LTC1668 is the first 16-bit DAC in the marketplace to exhibit an SFDR (spurious free dynamic range) of 87dB for an output signal frequency of 1MHz.Operating from ?5V supplies, the LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 can be configured to provide full-scale output currents up to 10mA. The differential current outputs of the DACs allow single-ended or true differential operation. The ?1V to 1V output compliance of the LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 allows the outputs to be connected directly to external resistors to produce a differential output voltage without degrading the converter?s linearity. Alternatively, the outputs can be connected to the summing junction of a high speed operational amplifier, or to a transformer. The LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 are pin compatible and are available in a 28-pin SSOP and are fully specified over the industrial temperature range.Applications Cellular Base Stations Multicarrier Base Stations Wireless Communication Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) xDSL Modems Arbitrary Waveform Generation Automated Test Equipment Instrumentation

The 8-bit LTC1665 and 10-bit LTC1660 integrate eight accurate, serially addressable digital-to-analog converters (DACs) in tiny 16-pin narrow SSOP packages. Each buffered DAC draws just 56?A total supply current, yet is capable of supplying DC output currents in excess of 5mA and reliably driving capacitive loads to 1000pF. Sleep mode further reduces total supply current to 1?A.Proprietary, inherently monotonic voltage interpolation architecture provides excellent linearity while allowing for an exceptionally small external form factor.Ultralow supply current, power-saving Sleep mode and extremely compact size make the LTC1665 and LTC1660 ideal for battery-powered applications, while their ease of use, high performance and wide supply range make them excellent choices as general purpose converters.Applications Mobile Communications Remote Industrial Devices Automatic Calibration for Manufacturing Portable Battery-Powered Instruments Trim/Adjust Applications
