Demonstration circuit 2290A features the LTC2387 family. With up to 15Msps, these differential input, single channel, 18-/16-Bit, serial, high speed successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs are available in a 32-Pin QFN package. The LTC2387 family has an internal 20ppm/°C reference and a serial LVDS interface. The demo manual refers to the LTC2387 but applies to all members of the family, the only difference being the sample rate and the number of bits. The DC2290A demonstrates the AC performance of the LTC2387 in conjunction with the DC718 data collection board. Differential amplifier demo boards are available separately that provide amplification of low level differential signals if required. Alternatively, by connecting the DC2290A into a customer application the performance of the LTC2387 can be evaluated directly in that circuit.

The LTC2000 is a family of 16-/14-/11-bit 2.5Gsps current steering DACs with exceptional spectral purity.The single (1.25Gsps mode) or dual (2.5Gsps mode) port source synchronous LVDS interface supports data rates of up to 1.25Gbps using a 625MHz DDR data clock, which can be either in quadrature or in phase with the data. An internal synchronizer automatically aligns the data with the DAC sample clock.Additional features such as pattern generation, LVDS loopout and junction temperature sensing simplify system development and testing.A serial peripheral interface (SPI) port allows configuration and read back of internal registers. The LTC2631 is a family of 12-, 10-, and 8-bit voltage-output DACs with an integrated, high accuracy, low-drift reference in an 8-lead TSOT-23 package. It has a rail-to-rail output buffer that is guaranteed monotonic.The LTC2631-L has a full-scale output of 2.5V, and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The LTC2631-H has a full-scale output of 4.096V, and operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply. A 10ppm/?C reference output is available at the REF pin.Each DAC can also operate in External Reference mode, in which a voltage supplied to the REF pin sets the fullscale output.The LTC2631 DACs use a 2-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface. The LTC2631 operates in both the standard mode (clock rate of 100kHz) and the fast mode (clock rate of 400kHz).The LTC2631 incorporates a power-on reset circuit.
