The LTC2873 is a robust pin-configurable multiprotocol transceiver that supports RS232, RS485, and RS422 protocols while operating on a single 3V to 5.5V supply. The LTC2873 can be configured as a half-duplex RS485 transceiver or as an RS232 transceiver using the same two bus pins.A pin-controlled integrated termination resistor allows for easy interface reconfiguration, eliminating external resistors and control relays. Loopback mode steers the driver inputs to the receiver outputs for diagnostic self-test. The ADP5585 is a 10I/O port expander with built-in keypad matrix decoder, programmable logic, reset generator, and PWM generator. I/O expander ICs are used in portable devices (phones, remote controls, & cameras) and non-portable applications (healthcare, industrial & instrumentation). I/O expanders can be used to increase the number of I/Os available to a processor or to reduce the number of I/Os required through interface connectors for front panel designs.The ADP5585 handles all key scanning and decoding and can flag the main processor via an interrupt line that new key events have occurred. GPI changes and logic changes can also be tracked as events via the FIFO, eliminating the need to monitor different registers for event changes. The ADP5585 is equipped with a FIFO to store up to 16 events. The LTC1520 is a high speed, precision differential line receiver that can operate at data rates as high as 50Mbps. A unique architecture provides very stable propagation delays and low skew over a wide input common mode, input overdrive and ambient temperature range. Propagation delay is 18ns ?3ns, while typically tPLH/tPHL skew is 500ps and channel-to-channel skew is 400ps.Each receiver translates differential input levels (VID ? 100mV) into valid CMOS and TTL output levels. Its high input resistance (?18k) allows many receivers to be connected to the same driver. The receiver outputs go into a high impedance state when disabled.Protection features include thermal shutdown and a controlled maximum short-circuit current (50mA max) that does not oscillate in and out of short-circuit mode. Input resistance remains ?18k when the device is unpowered or disabled, thus allowing the LTC1520 to be hot swapped into a backplane without loading the data lines.The LTC1520 operates from a single 5V supply and draws 12mA of supply current.
