The ADuM6132 is an isolated half-bridge gate driver that employs the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology to provide an isolated high-side driver with an integrated 275 mW high-side supply. This supply, provided by an internal isolated dc-to-dc converter, powers not only the ADuM6132 high-side output but also any external buffer circuitry that is commonly used with the ADuM6132. This functionality eliminates the cost, space, and performance issues associated with external supply configurations such as a bootstrap circuit.The architecture of the ADuM6132 isolates the high-side channel and the high-side power from the control and low- side interface circuitry. The MAX3188E/MAX3189E single RS-232 transmitters in a SOT23-6 package are for space- and cost-constrained applications requiring minimal RS-232 communications. The ADP362x / ADP363x is a family of high current and dual high speed drivers, capable of driving two independent N-channel power MOSFETs. The family uses the industry-standard foot-print but adds high speed switching performance and improved system reliability. The family has an internal temperature sensor and provides two levels of overtemperature protection, an overtemperature warning, and an overtemperature shutdown at extreme junction temperatures. The SD function, generated from a precise internal comparator, provides fast system enable or shutdown.This feature allows redundant overvoltage protection, complementing the protection inside the main controller device, or provides safe system shutdown in the event of an overtemperature warning. The ADuM3160 is a USB port isolator, based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics and is easily integrated with low and full speed USB-compatible peripheral devices.Many microcontrollers implement USB so that it presents only the D+ and D− lines to external pins. This is desirable in many cases because it minimizes external components and simplifies the design; however, this presents particular challenges when isolation is required. Because the USB lines must switch between actively driving D+/D− and allowing external resistors to set the state of the bus, the ADuM3160 provides mechanisms for detecting the direction of data flow and control over the state of the output buffers. Data direction is determined on a packet-by-packet basis.The ADuM3160 uses the edge detection based iCoupler technology in conjunction with internal logic to implement a transparent, easily configured, upstream-facing port isolator.
