Designed for half-duplex communication, the ADM3493 features a slew rate limited driver that minimizes EMI and reduces reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, allowing error-free data transmission at data rates up to 250 kbps.The receiver input impedance is 96 kΩ, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the bus. The AD8018 is a dual, high speed, low cost amplifier capable of driving low distortion signals to within 0.5 V of the supply rail. It is intended for use in single supply xDSL systems where low distortion and low cost is essential, and maximum reach on the line must be attained with the minimum of supply voltages. Each amplifier drives minimum 350 mA of output current and while maintaining -95 dBc of SFDR at 100 kHz, outstanding performance for any xDSL CPE application. The internal charge pump generates ±10 V levels allowing RS-232 output levels to be developed without the need for external bipolar power supplies.A highly efficient charge pump design allows operation using non polarized, miniature 0.1 mF capacitors.
