The ADuM1250 /?ADuM1251 are hot swappable digital isolators with non-latching, bidirectional communication channels compatible with I2C interfaces. This eliminates the need for splitting I2C signals into separate transmit and receive signals for use with standalone optocouplers.The ADuM1250 provides two bidirectional channels, supporting a complete isolated I2C interface. Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? chip scale transformer technology, the low propagation delay and jitter in the CLK, MO/SI, MI/SO, and SS SPI bus signals support SPI clock rates of up to 17 MHz.The ADuM3154 isolator also provides a slave select multiplexing system that allows up to four slave devices to be serviced from one isolator. When a target slave is selected, the slave select signal propagates to the desired output with low propagation delay, allowing tight timing control. The LT3960 is a robust high speed transceiver that extends a single-master I2C bus through harsh or noisy environments at up to 400kbps using the CAN-physical layer. One LT3960 sits near the I2C master, creating from SCL and SDA equivalent differential buses (I2CAN) on two twisted pairs. At the other end of the twisted pairs, a second LT3960 recreates the I2C bus locally for any slave I2C devices.
