The ADuM7640 / ADuM7641 / ADuM7642 / ADuM7643 are 6-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. These 1 kV digital isolation devices are packaged in a small 20-lead QSOP. They offer space savings and a lower price than 2.5 kV or 5 kV isolation solutions when only functional isolation is needed.This family, like many Analog Devices isolators, offers very low power consumption, using one-tenth to one-sixth the power of other digital isolators, with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V. Despite their low power consumption, the ADuM7640 / ADuM7641 / ADuM7642 / ADuM7643 provide low pulse width distortion (< 6 ns for C grade) and a channel-by-channel glitch filter to protect the device against extraneous noise disturbances. Four channel direction combinations areavailable with a maximum data rate of 1 Mbps or 25 Mbps. The ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 are micropower, 4-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technologies, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to the alternatives, such as optocoupler devices. As shown in Figure 3 in the data sheet, in standard operating mode, when ENx = 0 (internal refresh enabled), the current per channel is less than 10 μA. When ENx = 1 (internal refresh disabled), the current per channel drops to less than 1 μA.The ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 family of quad 2.5 kV digital isolation devices are packaged in a small 16-lead QSOP and 20-lead SSOP, freeing almost 70% of board space compared to isolators packages in wide body SOIC packages.The devices withstand high isolation voltages and meet regulatory requirements, such as UL and CSA standards. In addition to the space savings, the ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 operate with supplies as low as 2.25 V.Despite the low power consumption, all models of the ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 provide low, pulse width distortion at <8 ns. The AD5116 provides a nonvolatile digital potentiometer solution for 64-position adjustment applications, offering guaranteed low resistor tolerance errors of ±8% and up to ±6 mA current density in the A, B, and W pins. The low resistor tolerance, low nominal temperature coefficient, and high bandwidth simplify open-loop applications, as well as tolerance matching applications.The new low A-W and B-W resistance feature minimizes the wiper resistance in the extremes of the resistor array to typically 45 Ω.A simple push button interface allows manual control with just two external push button switches. The AD5116 is designed with a built-in adaptive debouncer that ignores invalid bounces due to contact bounce (commonly found in mechanical switches). The debouncer is adaptive, accommodating a variety of push buttons.The AD5116 can automatically save the last wiper position into EEPROM, making it suitable for applications that require a power-up in the last wiper position, for example, audio equipment.The AD5116 is available in a 2 mm × 2 mm 8-lead LFCSP package. The AD5263 is the industry’s first quad-channel, 256-position, digital potentiometer1 with a selectable digital interface. This device performs the same electronic adjustment function as mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors, with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and superior low temperature coefficient performance.Each channel of the AD5263 offers a completely programmable value of resistance between the A terminal and the wiper or between the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A-to-B terminal resistance of 20 kΩ, 50 kΩ, or 200 kΩ has a nominal temperature coefficient of ±30 ppm/°C and a ±1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance. Another key feature of this part is the ability to operate from +4.5 V to +15 V, or at ±5 V.Wiper position programming presets to midscale upon power-on. Once powered, the VR wiper position is programmed by either the 3-wire SPI or 2-wire I2C-compatible interface. In the I2C mode, additional programmable logic outputs enable users to drive digital loads, logic gates, and analog switches in their systems.The AD5263 is available in a narrow body, 24-lead TSSOP.
