LT8333 | Low IQ Boost/SEPIC/Inverting Converter with 3A, 40V Switch
Analog Devices Inc.
Evaluation circuit EVAL-LT8333-AZ features the LT8333 in a SEPIC configuration. It operates with a switching frequency of 2MHz and is designed to convert a 3V to 26V source to 12V output. The converter can output up to 1.25A depending on the input voltage (see Figure 3 in the demo manual, maximum output current vs VIN curve).
This evaluation circuit features Spread Spectrum Frequency Modulation (SSFM) and EMI filters to provide optimum EMI performance. This PCB layout is optimized for good EMI performance and small solution size. The evaluation board contains a selectable jumper, JP1, to aid in the selection of the desired SYNC pin mode of operation. At light load, either pulse-skipping (PULSE SKIP) or low-ripple Burst Mode® operation (BURST) can be selected to improve the efficiency.
The LT8333 boost/SEPIC/inverting converter IC operates over an input range of 2.8V to 40V, suitable for automotive, telecom, and industrial applications. The converter provides adjustable and synchronizable operation from 300kHz to 2MHz with SSFM option. The LT8333 packs other popular features such as soft-start, bias pin, input undervoltage lockout. The IC can exhibit a low quiescent current down to 9μA in BURST mode and 1μA in shutdown, which makes it ideal for battery-operated systems. The LT8333 is assembled in a thermally enhanced 10-lead 3mm × 3mm DFN package.
The data sheet gives a complete description of the device, operation, and application information. The data sheet must be read in conjunction with the demo manual for EVAL-LT8333-AZ.

ADP1071-1EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP1071-1/ADP1071-2 are pulse-width modulation (PWM) current mode fixed frequency synchronous flyback controllers designed for isolated dc-to-dc power supplies. Analog Devices proprietary iCouplers? are integrated in the ADP1071-1/ADP1071-2 to eliminate the bulky signal trans-formers and optocouplers that transmit signals over the isolation boundary. Integrating the iCouplers reduces system design complexity, cost, and component count and improves overall system reliability. With the integrated isolators and metal-oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) drivers on both the primary and the secondary side, the ADP1071-1/ADP1071-2 offer a compact system level design and yield a higher efficiency than a diode rectified flyback converter at heavy loads.Output regulation is achieved by sensing the output voltage on the secondary side, where the feedback and the PWM signals are transmitted between the primary and secondary sides through the iCouplers. The ADP1071-1/ADP1071-2 are offered in a 16-lead SOIC_W package with an isolation voltage rating of 5 kV rms. The ADP1071-2 is designed for isolated dc-to-dc applications typically with an input voltage less than 36 V, and the ADP1071-1 targets high input voltage applications, in which the dc input voltage can exceed 60 V.The ADP1071-1/ADP1071-2 offer features such as input current protection, output overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage lockout (UVLO), precision enable with adjustable hysteresis, overtemperature protection (OTP), and power saving light load mode (LLM).Applications Isolated dc-to-dc or ac-to-dc power conversion Telecom, industrial Small cell PoE powered device Enterprise switches and routers

DC1280A
Analog Devices Inc.
The LT3471 dual switching regulator combines two 42V, 1.3A switches with error amplifiers that can sense to ground providing boost and inverting capability. The low VCESAT bipolar switches enable the device to deliver high current outputs in a small footprint. The LT3471 switches at 1.2MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost and low profile inductors and capacitors. High inrush current at start-up is eliminated using the programmable soft-start function, where an external RC sets the current ramp rate. A constant frequency current mode PWM architecture results in low, predictable output noise that is easy to filter. The LT3471 switches are rated at 42V, making the device ideal for boost converters up to ?40V as well as SEPIC and flyback designs. Each channel can generate 5V at up to 630mA from a 3.3V supply, or 5V at 510mA from four alkaline cells in a SEPIC design. The device can be configured as two boosts, a boost and inverter or two inverters. The LT3471 is available in a low profile (0.75mm) 10-lead 3mm ? 3mm DFN package.Applications Organic LED Power Supply Digital Cameras White LED Power Supply Cellular Phones Medical Diagnostic Equipment Local ?5V or ?12V Supply TFT-LCD Bias Supply xDSL Power Supply

LTC7804 Demo Board | 6V ≥ VIN ≥ 24V, VOUT = 24V @ 6A
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit DC2846A is a DC/DC synchronous boost converter featuring the LTC7804 (MSE package), a spread spectrum or constant frequency current mode synchronous boost controller. The DC2846A generates a 24V output voltage and provides up to 6A of output current.
The 500kHz constant switching frequency operation results in a small and efficient circuit.
The main features of this board include:
Wide input voltage range: from 6V to 24V
Relatively high output power, up to 150W
Extremely low quiescent current, it’s 15µA at sleep mode and as low as 1µA at shutdown
Onboard low power bias supply
Ability to select spread spectrum or fixed frequency
Pulse-skipping mode, forced continuous operation or low ripple Burst Mode® operation at light loads
Synchronization with external clock
If VIN > VOUT, the DC2846A eliminates the usual boost topology losses by keeping the top MOSFET on
continuously.
The converter provides high output voltage accuracy
(typically ±2%) over a wide load range with no minimum
load requirement.
The DC2846A supports two ways of biasing step-up controllers: directly from the input voltage or output rail. The
third possibility is connecting voltage source to EXTVCC
terminal.
The DC2846A extremely wide switching frequency range from 100kHz to 3MHz. It can be synchronized to the external clock anywhere inside this range. The spread spectrum operation is used for reducing the peak radiated and conducted noise to simplify compliance with electromagnetic interference (EMI) standards.
The DC2846A has small circuit footprint. It is a high performance and cost-effective solution for telecom, automotive and Power over Ethernet applications.
