The ADR430/ADR431/ADR433/ADR434/ADR435 series is a family of XFET® voltage references featuring low noise, high accuracy, and low temperature drift performance. Using Analog Devices, Inc., temperature drift curvature correction and extra implanted junction FET (XFET) technology, voltage change vs. temperature nonlinearity in the ADR430/ADR431/ADR433/ADR434/ ADR435 is minimized.The XFET references operate at lower current (800 μA) and lower supply voltage headroom (2 V) than buried Zener references. Buried Zener references require more than 5 V of headroom for operation. The ADR430/ADR431/ADR433/ADR434/ADR435 XFET references are low noise solutions for 5 V systems.The ADR430/ADR431/ADR433/ADR434/ADR435 family has the capability to source up to 30 mA of output current and sink up to −20 mA. It also comes with a trim terminal to adjust the output voltage over a ±0.5% range without compromising performance.The ADR430/ADR431/ADR433/ADR434/ADR435 are available in 8-lead MSOP and 8-lead narrow SOIC packages. The LTC3415 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase lockable constant frequency, current mode architecture. PolyPhase® operation allows multiple LTC3415s to run out of phase while using minimal input and output capacitance. The operating supply range is from 5.5V down to 2.5V, making it suitable for single Lithium-Ion battery as well as point of load power supply applications. Burst Mode operation provides high efficiency at low load currents. 100% duty cycle provides low dropout operation that extends operating time in battery-operated systems.The operating frequency is internally set at 1.5MHz, allowing the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching-noise sensitive applications, it can be externally synchronized from 0.75MHz to 2.25MHz. The PHMODE pin allows user control of the phase of the outgoing clock signal. The current sense comparator is factory trimmed for accurate output current sharing. The REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series of precision voltage references provide a stable 10.0 V, 5.0 V, or 2.5 V output with minimal change in response to variations in supply voltage, ambient temperature or load conditions. The devices are available in 8-lead SOIC, PDIP, CERDIP, and TO-99 packages, as well as 20-terminal LCC packages (883 only), furthering the usability of the devices in both standard and high stress applications.With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP terminal can be used for temperature sensing and approximation. A TRIM terminal is also provided on the device for fine adjustment of the output voltage.The small footprint, wide supply range, and application versatility make the REF0x series of references ideal for general-purpose and space-constrained applications.Newer designs should use the ADR01 / ADR02 / ADR03 / ADR06 series of references, which offer higher accuracy and temperature stability over a wider operating temperature range, while maintaining full pin-for-pin compatibility with the REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series.
