The ADR440/ADR441/ADR443/ADR444/ADR445 series is a family of XFET® voltage references featuring ultralow noise, high accuracy, and low temperature drift performance. Using Analog Devices, Inc., patented temperature drift curvature correction and XFET (eXtra implanted junction FET) technology, voltage change vs. temperature nonlinearity in the ADR440/ADR441/ADR443/ADR444/ADR445 is greatly minimized.The XFET references offer better noise performance than buried Zener references, and XFET references operate off low supply voltage headroom (500 mV). The LT3080-1 is a 1.1A low dropout linear regulator that incorporates an internal ballast resistor to allow direct paralleling of devices without the need for PC board trace resistors. The internal ballast resistor allows multiple devices to be paralleled directly on a surface mount board for higher output current and power dissipation while keeping board layout simple and easy. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation—down to 350mV—when used with multiple input supplies. The LT3080-1 is capable of supplying a wide output voltage range. A reference current through a single resistor programs the output voltage to any level between zero and 36V. The LT3080-1 is stable with 2.2μF of ceramic capacitance on the output, not requiring additional ESR as is common with other regulators.Internal protection includes current limiting and thermal limiting. The LT3080-1 regulator is offered in the 8-lead MSOP (with an Exposed Pad for better thermal characteristics) and 3mm × 3mm DFN packages. The LTM4615 is a complete 4A dual output switching mode DC/DC power supply plus an additional 1.5A VLDO (very low dropout) linear regulator. Included in the package are the switching controllers, power FETs, inductors, a 1.5A regulator and all support components. The dual 4A DC/DC converters operate over an input voltage range of 2.375V to 5.5V, and the VLDO operates from a 1.14V to 3.5V input. The LTM4615 supports output voltages ranging from 0.8V to 5V for the DC/DC converters, and 0.4V to 2.6V for the VLDO. The three regulator output voltages are set by a single resistor for each output. Only bulk input and output capacitors are needed to complete the design.The low profile package (2.82mm) enables utilization of unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density point of load regulation. High switching frequency and a current mode architecture enables a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. The device supports output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. Additional features include overvoltage protection, foldback overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown and programmable soft-start. The power module is offered in a space saving and thermally enhanced 15mm × 15mm × 2.82mm LGA package. The LTM4611 is a high density 15A output, switch mode DC/DC buck converter power supply capable of operating from very low voltage input supplies. Included in the package are the buck switching controller, power FETs, inductor and loop-compensation components. The LTM4611 delivers up to 15A continuous current at high efficiency from an input voltage of 1.5VIN up to 5.5VIN. The output voltage is set between 0.8V and 5V by a resistor. The LTC3604 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase-lockable controlled on-time, current mode architecture capable of supplying up to 2.5A of output current. The operating supply voltage range is from 3.6V to 15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply applications. The operating frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz with an external resistor enabling the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise sensitive applications, the LTC3604 can be externally synchronized over the same frequency range. An internal phase-locked loop aligns the on-time of the top power MOSFET to the internal or external clock. This unique constant frequency/controlled on-time architecture is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that demand high switching frequencies and fast transient response. The LTC3604 offers two operational modes: Burst Mode operation and forced continuous mode to allow the user to optimize output voltage ripple, noise, and light load efficiency for a given application. The ADM1168 Super Sequencer® is a configurable supervisory/ sequencing device that offers a single-chip solution for supply monitoring and sequencing in multiple supply systems.The device also provides up to eight programmable inputs for monitoring undervoltage faults, overvoltage faults, or out-of-window faults on up to eight supplies. In addition, eight programmable outputs can be used as logic enables. This state machine-based construction provides up to 63 different states. In addition to these functions, the ADM1066 integrates a 12-bit ADC and six 8-bit voltage output DACs. These circuits can be used to implement a closed-loop margining system that enables supply adjustment by altering either the feedback node or reference of a dc-to-dc converter using the DAC outputs. Supply margining can be performed with a minimum of external components. The ADM1172 is a hot swap controller that safely enables a printed circuit board to be removed and inserted to a live backplane. This is achieved using an external N-channel power MOSFET with a current control loop that monitors the load current through a sense resistor. An internal charge pump is used to enhance the gate of the N-channel FET. When an overcurrent condition is detected, the gate voltage of the FET is reduced to limit the current flowing through the sense resistor. During an overcurrent condition, the TIMER pin capacitor determines the amount of time the FET remains at a current limiting mode of operation until it is shut down. The ON (ON-CLR) pin is the enable input for the device and can be used to monitor the input supply voltage. The ADM1172 operates with a supply voltage ranging from 2.7 V to 16.5 V.The ADM1172 also features a power-fail comparator. The voltage on the PFI pin is compared with an internal 0.6 V reference, and the output of this comparator is presented on the PFO pin. This device is available in two options: the ADM1172-1 with automatic retry for overcurrent fault and the ADM1172-2 with latch-off for an overcurrent fault. Toggling the ON (ON-CLR) pin resets a latched fault.
