The LTM4652 is a source/sink dual ±25A or single ±50A output switching mode step-down DC/DC μModule® (micromodule) regulator with ±1.5% total DC output error. Included in the package are the switching controllers, power MOSFETs, inductors and all supporting components. Operating from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V, the LTM4652 supports two outputs with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 7.5V, each set by a single external resistor. Its high efficiency design delivers up to ±25A continuous current for each output. Only a few input and output capacitors are needed. Adjustable control loop compensation allows for fast transient response to minimize output capacitance when powering FPGAs, ASICs, and processors.Fault protection features include input and output overvoltage and bidirectional overcurrent protection. The LT3468/LT3468-1/LT3468-2 are highly integrated ICs designed to charge photoflash capacitors in digital and film cameras. A patented control technique* allows for the use of extremely small transformers. Each device contains an on-chip high voltage NPN power switch. Output voltage detection* is completely contained within the device, eliminating the need for any discrete zener diodes or resistors. The output voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the turns ratio of the transformer. The LT3468 has a primary current limit of 1.4A, the LT3468-2 has a 1A limit, and the LT3468-1 has a 0.7A limit. These different current limit levels result in well controlled input currents of 500mA for the LT3468, 375mA for the LT3468-2 and 225mA for the LT3468-1. Aside from the differing current limit, the three devices are otherwise equivalent.The CHARGE pin gives full control of the part to the user. Driving CHARGE low puts the part in shutdown. The LTC1628/LTC1628-PG are high performance dual step-down switching regulator controllers that drive all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages. A constant frequency current mode architecture allows adjustment of the frequency up to 300kHz. Power loss and noise due to the ESR of the input capacitors are minimized by operating the two controller output stages out of phase.OPTI-LOOP compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. The precision 0.8V reference and power good output indicator are compatible with future microprocessor generations, and a wide 3.5V to 30V (36V maximum) input supply range encompasses all battery chemistries.A RUN/SS pin for each controller provides both soft-start and optional timed, short-circuit shutdown.
