The HMC1126 is a gallium arsenide (GaAs), pseudomorphic high electron mobility transfer (pHEMT), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), distributed power amplifier that operates from 2 GHz to 50 GHz. The HMC1126 provides 11 dB of gain, 28 dBm output IP3, and 17.5 dBm of output power at 1 dB gain compression, while requiring 65 mA from a 5 V supply. The HMC1126 amplifier inputs/outputs are internally matched to 50 Ω facilitating integration into multichip modules (MCMs). The HMC265LM3 is a 20 - 31 GHz surface mount sub-harmonically pumped (x2) MMIC mixer downconverter with integrated LO and IF amplifiers in a SMT leadless chip carrier package. The 2LO to RF and IF isolations are an excellent 28 to 47 dB, eliminating the need for additional filtering. The LO amplifier is a single bias (+3V to +4V) two stage design with only -4 dBm drive requirement. All data is with the non-hermetic, epoxy sealed LM3 packaged device mounted in a 50 ohm test fixture. The HMC413QS16G(E) is a high efficiency GaAs InGaP Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) MMIC Power amplifier which operates between 1.6 and 2.2 GHz. The amplifier is packaged in a low cost, surface mount 16 leaded package with an exposed base for improved RF and thermal performance. With a minimum of external components, the amplifier provides 23 dB of gain, +29.5 dBm of saturated power at 42% PAE from a +5V supply voltage. The amplifi er can also operate with a 3.6V supply. The HMC420QS16(E) is a linear down-converter receiver IC suitiable for cellular infrastructure applications from 0.7 - 1.0 GHz. An integrated mixer coupled with a high dynamic range IF amplifier achieves an input intercept point (OIP3) of +15 dBm, and an input P1dB of +1 dBm. The converter provides a gain of 12.5 dB and 13 dB typical single side band noise. The IC operates from positive +5V rails consuming 52 mA of current while requiring only 0 dBm LO drive. The design requires no external baluns, and minimal off chip components. The HMC611LP4(E) Logarithmic Detector/Controller converts RF signals at its input, to a proportional DC voltage at its output. The HMC611LP4(E) employs a successive compression topology which delivers extremely high dynamic range and conversion accuracy over a wide input frequency range. As the input power is increased, successive amplifiers move into saturation one by one creating an accurate approximation of the logarithm function.The output of a series of square law detectors is summed, converted into voltage domain and buffered to drive the LOGOUT output. For detection mode, the LOGOUT pin is shorted to the VSET input, and will provide a nominal logarithmic slope of -25mV/dB and an intercept of 18 dBm (22 dBm for ƒ ≥ 5.8 GHz).
