The HMC413QS16G(E) is a high efficiency GaAs InGaP Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) MMIC Power amplifier which operates between 1.6 and 2.2 GHz. The amplifier is packaged in a low cost, surface mount 16 leaded package with an exposed base for improved RF and thermal performance. With a minimum of external components, the amplifier provides 23 dB of gain, +29.5 dBm of saturated power at 42% PAE from a +5V supply voltage. The amplifi er can also operate with a 3.6V supply. The HMC420QS16(E) is a linear down-converter receiver IC suitiable for cellular infrastructure applications from 0.7 - 1.0 GHz. An integrated mixer coupled with a high dynamic range IF amplifier achieves an input intercept point (OIP3) of +15 dBm, and an input P1dB of +1 dBm. The converter provides a gain of 12.5 dB and 13 dB typical single side band noise. The IC operates from positive +5V rails consuming 52 mA of current while requiring only 0 dBm LO drive. The design requires no external baluns, and minimal off chip components. The HMC765LP6CE is a fully functioned Fractional-N Phase-Locked-Loop (PLL) with an Integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). The input reference frequency range is 100 kHz to 220 MHz while the advanced delta-sigma modulator design in the fractional PLL allows both ultra-fine step sizes and very low spurious products. The HMC775LC5 is a compact I/Q MMIC mixer in a leadless ceramic SMT package, which can be used as either an Image Reject Mixer or a Single Sideband Upconverter. The mixer utilizes two standard Hittite double balanced mixer cells and a 90 degree hybrid fabricated in a GaAs MESFET process. A low frequency quadrature hybrid was used to produce a 1 GHz USB IF output. This product is a much smaller alternative to hybrid style Image Reject Mixers and Single Sideband Upconverter assemblies. The HMC399MS8(E) is a high dynamic range passive MMIC mixer in plastic surface mount 8 lead Mini Small Outline Package (MSOP) covering 700 to 1000 MHz. Excellent input IP3 performance of +35 dBm for down conversion and +32 dBm for up conversion is provided for 2.5G & 3G GSM/ CDMA based cellular applications at an LO drive of +17 dBm. With a 1 dB compression of +23 dBm, the RF port will accept a wide range of input signal levels. Conversion loss is 8.5 dB typical and LO isolations are maintained at 23 to 35 dB.This miniature single-ended monolithic GaAs FET mixer requires only one external inductor to optimize the LO frequency response. The 50 to 250 MHz IF frequency response will satisfy many cellular transmit or receive frequency plans.
