The SC1894 is the Scintera® 3rd generation of RF PA linearizers(RFPAL™) that provide improved correction and functionality over the previous generations. The SC1894 is a fully adaptive, RFin/RFout predistortion linearization solution optimized for a wide range of amplifiers, power levels, and communication protocols. The SC1894 uses the PA output and input signals to adaptively generate an optimized correction function in order to minimize the PA’s self-generated distortion and impairments. Using RF-domain analog signal processing enables the SC1894 to operate over wide-signal bandwidths and consume very low power. The SC1894 goes beyond linearization and provides accurate RF power measurement of RFIN and RFFB. Design support features including spectral monitoring and ACLR alarm are also available. These optional design support are accessed through the SC1894’s serial peripheral interface (SPI) bus.Evaluation kits are available for evaluating the performance of the SC1894. The ADF41020 frequency synthesizer can be used to implement local oscillators as high as 18 GHz in the up conversion and down conversion sections of wireless receivers and transmitters. It consists of a low noise, digital phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump, a programmable reference divider, and high frequency programmable feedback dividers (A, B, and P). A complete phase-locked loop (PLL) can be implemented if the synthesizer is used with an external loop filter and voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). The synthesizer can be used to drive external microwave VCOs via an active loop filter. Its very high bandwidth means a frequency doubler stage can be eliminated, simplifying system architecture and reducing cost. The ADF41020 is software-compatible with the existing ADF4106/ADF4107/ADF4108 family of devices from Analog Devices, Inc. The ADAS3022 is a complete 16-bit, 1 MSPS, successive approximation–based analog-to-digital data acquisition system, which is manufactured on Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary iCMOS® high voltage industrial process technology. The device integrates an 8-channel, low leakage multiplexer; a high impedance programmable gain instrumentation amplifier (PGIA) stage with high common-mode rejection; a precision, low drift 4.096 V reference and buffer; and a 16-bit charge redistribution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with successive approximation register (SAR) architecture. The ADAS3022 can resolve eight single-ended inputs or four fully differential inputs up to ±24.576 V when using ±15 V supplies. The SSM3302 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, stereo Class-D audio amplifier. The application circuit requires minimal externalcomponents and operates from a single 7 V to 18 V supply. The device is capable of delivering 2 × 10 W of continuous output power into a 4 Ω load (or 2 × 8 W into 8 Ω) with 98 dB. Spread spectrum pulse density modulation (PDM) is used toprovide lower EMI radiated emissions compared with other Class-D architectures. The SSM3302 includes an optional modulation select pin (ultralow EMI emission mode) that significantly reduces the radiated emissions at the Class-D outputs, particularly above 100 MHz. The SSM3302 can pass FCC Class-B emissions testing with an unshielded 20 inch cable using common-mode choke-based filtering.The fully differential input of the SSM3302 provides excellent rejection of common-mode noise on the input. The device also includes a highly flexible gain select pin that only requires one series resistor to choose a gain between 9 dB and 24 dB, with no change to the input impedance. The benefit of this is to improve gain matching between multiple SSM3302 devices within a single application compared with using external resistors to set gain.The SSM3302 includes an integrated voltage regulator thatgenerates a 5 V rail.The SSM3302 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typical shutdown current of 10 μA. Shutdown is enabled by applying a logic low to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry that minimizes voltage glitches at the output during turn on and turn off, reducing audible noise during activation and deactivation.Other included features to simplify system level integration of the SSM3302 are input low-pass filtering to suppress out-ofband DAC noise interference to the pulse density modulator, fixed input impedance to simplify component selection across multiple platform production builds, and a thermal warning indicator pin.The SSM3302 is specified over the commercial temperaturerange (−40°C to +85°C). It has built-in thermal shutdown andoutput short-circuit protection. The AD5748 is a single-channel, low cost, precision, voltage/current output driver with hardware or software programmable output ranges. The software ranges are configured via an SPI-/ MICROWIRE™-compatible serial interface. The AD5748 targets applications in PLC and industrial process control. The analog input to the AD5748 is provided from a low voltage, single-supply, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and is internally conditioned to provide the desired output current/voltage range. The analog input range is 0 V to 4.096 V.The output current range is programmable across two current ranges: 4 mA to 21 mA and 0 mA to 21 mA.Voltage output is provided from a separate pin that can be configured to provide 0 V to 5 V, 0 V to 10.5 V, or ±10.5 V output range.Analog outputs are short-circuit and open-circuit protected and can drive capacitive loads of 2 μF and inductive loads of 0.1 H.The device is specified to operate with a power supply range from ±12 V to ±24 V. Output loop compliance is 0 V to AVDD − 2.75 V.The flexible serial interface is SPI- and MICROWIRE-compatible and can be operated in 3-wire mode to minimize the digital isolation required in isolated applications. The interface also features an optional PEC error checking feature using CRC-8 error checking, useful in industrial environments where data communication corruption can occur.The device also includes a power-on-reset function, ensuring that the device powers up in a known state (0 V or tristate), and a asynchronous CLEAR pin that sets the outputs to zero scale/midscale voltage output or the low end of the selected current range.An HW SELECT pin is used to configure the part for hardware or software mode on power-up.Note that the plots in the Typical Performance Characteristics section of this data sheet contain information on the standard ranges, as released in the AD5750/AD5750-1 data sheet.
