The MUX-08 is a monolithic eight-channel analog multiplexer which connects a single output to one of the eight analog inputs depending upon the state of a 3-bit binary address.The MUX-24 is a monolithic four-channel differential analog multiplexer configured in a double pole, four position (plus OFF) electronic switch array. A two-bit binary input address connects a pair of independent analog inputs from each four channel input section to the corresponding pair of independent analog outputs. All switches in the MUX-08/MUX-24 are turned OFF by applying logic '0' to the ENABLE pin, thereby providing a package select function. Fabricated with Precision Monolithics' high performance Bipolar-JFET technology, these devices offer low, constant 'ON' resistance, low leakage currents and fast settling time with low crosstalk to satisfy a wide variety of applications. These multiplexors do not suffer from latch-up or static charge blow-out problems associated with similar CMOS parts. The digital inputs are designed to operate form both TTL and CMOS levels while always providing a definite break-before-make action without the need for external pull-up resistors over the full operating temperature range.

The ADG5248F and ADG5249F are 8:1 and dual 4:1 analog multiplexers. The ADG5248F switches one of eight inputs to a common output and the ADG5249F switches one of four differential inputs to a common differential output. Each channel conducts equally well in both directions when on, and each channel has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. The primary supply voltages define the on-resistance profile, whereas the secondary supply voltages define the voltage level at which the overvoltage protection engages.When no power supplies are present, the channel remains in the off condition, and the switch inputs are high impedance. Under normal operating conditions, if the analog input signal levels on any Sx pin exceed positive fault voltage (POSFV) or negative fault voltage (NEGFV) by a threshold voltage (VT), the channel turns off and that Sx pin becomes high impedance. If the switch is selected to be on, then the drain pin is pulled to the secondary supply voltage that was exceeded. Input signal levels up to +55 V or −55 V relative to ground are blocked, in both the powered and unpowered condition.The low capacitance and charge injection of these switches make them ideal solutions for data acquisition and sample-and-hold applications, where low glitch switching and fast settling times are required. Note that, throughout this data sheet, multifunction pins, such as A0/F2, are referred to either by the entire pin name or by a single function of the pin, for example, A0, when only that function is relevant. Product Highlights Source pins are protected against voltages greater than the secondary supply rails, up to −55 V and +55 V. The ADG798 is a low voltage, CMOS, analog multiplexer designed to operate at very high temperatures up to 210°C. The ADG798 switches one of eight inputs (S1 to S8) to a common output, D, as determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and A2. An EN input on the device is used to enable or disable the device. When the device is disabled, all channels are switched off. The ADG798 features low power consumption and a 3.3 V to 5.5 V operating supply range. All channels exhibit break-before-make switching action, preventing momentary shorting when switching channels. These switches are designed with an enhanced submicron process that provides low power dissipation, high switching speed and very low on resistance.The on resistance (RON) is a maximum of 10 Ω and is closely matched between switches and very flat over the full signal range. The ADG798 operates equally well as either a multiplexer or a demultiplexer and has an input signal range that extends tothe supplies.This mux is available in a 16-lead ceramic flat package (FLATPACK) and a 16-lead ceramic flat package with reverse formed gullwing leads (FLATPACK_RF). Both of the flat packages have an operating temperature range of −55°C to +210°C. A 16-lead TSSOP package is also available that has an operating temperature range of −55°C to +175°C. The ADGS5412 contains four independent single-pole/single-throw (SPST) switches. A serial peripheral interface (SPI) controls the switches. The SPI interface has robust error detection features, including cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error detection, invalidread/write address detection, and serial clock (SCLK) counterror detection.It is possible to daisy-chain multiple ADGS5412 devices together,which enables the configuration of multiple devices with aminimal amount of digital lines. The ADGS5412 can also operate in burst mode to decrease the time between SPIcommands. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on,and each switch has an input signal range that extends to thesupplies. In the off condition, signal levels up to the supplies are blocked. The on-resistance profile is very flat over the full analog input range, which ensures good linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. The ADGS5412 exhibits break-before-make switching action, allowing use of the device in multiplexer applications with external wiring.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS SPI interface removes the need for parallel conversion and logic traces and reduces general-purpose input/output (GPIO) channel count.
