MAX30207BCLB+T
Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX30207 is a low-power, high-accuracy digital temperature sensor with ±0.1°C accuracy from +30°C to +50°C and ±0.3°C accuracy from 0°C to +70°C. It provides a 16-bit resolution (0.005°C).The 2mm x 2mm x 0.75mm package design has extremely low thermal mass and can be mounted on a flex PCB with only two conducting traces, allowing for minimal thermal conduction to the system PCB and accurate temperature measurements.Data is transferred serially through the 1-Wire® protocol, which requires only one data line and a ground reference for communication. Power to the device is also provided using the same data line used for communication using parasite power circuitry inside the device. Each MAX30207 has its own unique 64-bit registration number factory programmed into the chip. This unique 64-bit registration number acts as the node address in a multidrop 1-Wire® network. In multidrop networks, optional GPIO pins may be used as address bits to identify each device's physical location.ApplicationsInternet of Things (IoT) SensorsMedical ThermometersWearable Body Temperature Monitors

MAX31888ALT+
Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX31888 is a 1-Wire high precision, low power digital temperature sensor with ±0.25ºC accuracy from -20ºC to +105ºC for precision temperature monitoring. The MAX31888 operates at 68μA operating current during measurement and has 16-bit resolution (0.005ºC).The sensor communicates with a microcontroller over a 1-Wire® bus that requires only one data line (and a ground reference) for communication. In addition, the sensor can derive power directly from the data line through “parasite power”, eliminating the need for an external power supply. Each MAX31888 has its own unique 64-bit registration number that is factory programmed into the chip. This unique 64-bit registration number acts as the node address in the case of a multi-drop 1-Wire® network. In multi-drop networks, optional GPIO pins can be used as address bits to identify each device's physical location. The MAX31888 is available in a 6-pin µDFN package. The power supply voltage range is from 1.7V to 3.6V for external power supplies. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +125°C.ApplicationsPrecision Temperature MonitoringRTD ReplacementInternet of Things (IoT) SensorsCold Chain

MAX6615AEE+T
Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX6615/MAX6616 monitor two temperature channels, either the internal die temperature and the temperature of an external thermistor, or the temperatures of two external thermistors. The temperature data controls a PWM output signal to adjust the speed of a cooling fan, thereby minimizing noise when the system is running cool, but providing maximum cooling when power dissipation increases. The fans' tachometer output signals are monitored by the MAX6615/MAX6616 to detect fan failure. If a fan failure is detected, the active-low FAN_FAIL output is asserted. The 2-wire serial interface accepts standard system management bus (SMBus™) write byte, read byte, send byte, and receive byte commands to read the temperature data and program the alarm thresholds. The programmable alarm output can be used to generate interrupts, throttle signals, or overtemperature shutdown signals. The MAX6616 features six GPIOs to provide additional flexibility. All of the GPIOs power-up as inputs, with the exception of GPIO0, which powers up as either an input or an output as determined by connecting the PRESET pin to ground or VCC.The MAX6616 is available in a 24-pin QSOP package, while the MAX6615 is available in a 16-pin QSOP package. Both devices operate from a single-supply voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V, have operating temperature ranges of -40°C to +125°C, and consume just 500µA of supply current.ApplicationsDesktop ComputersNetworking EquipmentPower SuppliesServersWorkstations

DS75S+
Analog Devices Inc.
The DS75 digital thermometer and thermostat provides 9, 10, 11, or 12-bit digital temperature readings over a -55°C to +125°C range with ±2°C accuracy over a -25°C to +100°C range. At power-up, the DS75 defaults to 9-bit resolution for software compatibility with the LM75. Communication with the DS75 is achieved via a simple 2-wire serial interface. Three address pins allow up to eight DS75 devices to operate on the same 2-wire bus, which greatly simplifies distributed temperature sensing applications. The DS75 thermostat has a dedicated open-drain output (O.S.) and programmable fault tolerance, which allows the user to define the number of consecutive error conditions that must occur before O.S is activated. There are two thermostatic operating modes that control thermostat operation based on user-defined trip-points (TOS and THYST).A block diagram of the DS75 is shown in Figure 1 and detailed pin descriptions are given in Table 2.ApplicationsAny Thermally Sensitive SystemCell Phone Base Stations Office EquipmentPersonal Computing
