AD7980ARMZRL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7980 is a 16-bit, successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single power supply, VDD. It contains a low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the CNV rising edge, it samples an analog input IN+ between 0 V to REF with respect to a ground sense IN−. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage, VDD. Its power scales linearly with throughput. The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy-chain several ADCs on a single, 3-wire bus and provides an optional busy indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic, using the separate supply VIO.The AD7980 is housed in a 10-lead MSOP or a 10-lead QFN (LFCSP) with operation specified from −40°C to +125°C.APPLICATIONSAutomated test equipmentData acquisition systemsMedical instrumentsMachine automation

The AD7982 is an 18-bit, successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single power supply, VDD. The AD7982 contains a low power, high speed, 18-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the CNV rising edge, the AD7982 samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN− pins. The voltages on these pins usually swing in opposite phases between 0 V and VREF. The reference voltage, VREF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage, VDD. AD8138ARMZ-REEL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8138 is a major advancement over op amps fordifferential signal processing. The AD8138 can be used as asingle-ended-to-differential amplifier or as a differential-to-differentialamplifier. The AD8138 is as easy to use as an opamp and greatly simplifies differential signal amplification anddriving. Manufactured on the proprietary ADI XFCB bipolarprocess, the AD8138 has a −3 dB bandwidth of 320 MHz anddelivers a differential signal with the lowest harmonic distortionavailable in a differential amplifier. The AD8138 has a uniqueinternal feedback feature that provides balanced output gainand phase matching, suppressing even order harmonics. Theinternal feedback circuit also minimizes any gain error thatwould be associated with the mismatches in the external gainsetting resistors. The differential output of the AD8138 helps balance the inputto differential ADCs, maximizing the performance of the ADC. The AD8138 eliminates the need for a transformer with highperformance ADCs, preserving the low frequency and dc information. The common-mode level of the differential output isadjustable by a voltage on the VOCM pin, easily level-shifting theinput signals for driving single-supply ADCs. Fast overloadrecovery preserves sampling accuracy. The AD8138 distortion performance makes it an ideal ADCdriver for communication systems, with distortion performancegood enough to drive state-of-the-art 10-bit to 16-bit convertersat high frequencies. The high bandwidth and IP3 of theAD8138 also make it appropriate for use as a gain block in IFand baseband signal chains. The AD8138 offset and dynamicperformance makes it well suited for a wide variety of signalprocessing and data acquisition applications. The AD8138 is available in both SOIC and MSOP packages foroperation over −40°C to +85°C temperatures. The AD8138-EP supports defense and aerospace applications (AQEC).

AD820BRZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD820 is a precision, low power FET input op amp that can operate from a single supply of 5 V to 36 V, or dual supplies of ±2.5 V to ±18 V. It has true single-supply capability, with an input voltage range extending below the negative rail, allowing the AD820 to accommodate input signals below ground in the single-supply mode. Output voltage swing extends to within 10 mV of each rail, providing the maximum output dynamic range. Offset voltage of 800 μV maximum, offset voltage drift of 2 μV/°C, typical input bias currents below 25 pA, and low input voltage noise provide dc precision with source impedances up to 1 GΩ. 1.8 MHz unity gain bandwidth, −93 dB THD at 10 kHz, and 3 V/μs slew rate are provided for a low supply current of 800 μA. The AD820 drives up to 350 pF of direct capacitive load and provides a minimum output current of 15 mA. This allows the amplifier to handle a wide range of load conditions. This combination of ac and dc performance, plus the outstanding load drive capability, results in an exceptionally versatile amplifier for the single-supply user. The AD820 is available in two performance grades. The A and B grades are rated over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. The AD820 is offered in three 8-lead package options: plastic DIP (PDIP), surface mount (SOIC) and (MSOP).ApplicationsBattery-powered precision instrumentationPhotodiode preamps Active filters12-bit to 14-bit data acquisition systemsMedical instrumentation Low power references and regulatorsData Sheet, Rev. AD8220BRMZ-R7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8220 is the first single-supply, JFET input instrumentation amplifier available in an MSOP package. Designed to meet the needs of high performance, portable instrumentation, the AD8220 has a minimum common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 86 dB at dc and a minimum CMRR of 80 dB at 5 kHz for G = 1. Maximum input bias current is 10 pA and typically remains below 300 pA over the entire industrial temperature range. Despite the JFET inputs, the AD8220 typically has a noise corner of only 10 Hz.With the proliferation of mixed-signal processing, the number of power supplies required in each system has grown. The AD8220 is designed to alleviate this problem. The AD8220 can operate on a ±18 V dual supply, as well as on a single +5 V supply. Its rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5 V supply eliminates the need to use higher voltage, dual supplies. The AD8220 draws a maximum of 750 μA of quiescent current, making it ideal for battery powered devices.Gain is set from 1 to 1000 with a single resistor. Increasing the gain increases the common-mode rejection. Measurements that need higher CMRR when reading small signals benefit when the AD8220 is set for large gains.A reference pin allows the user to offset the output voltage. This feature is useful when interfacing with analog-to-digital converters. The AD8220 is available in an MSOP that takes roughly half the board area of an SOIC. Performance for the A and B grade is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C, and the W grade is specified over the automotive temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.Applications Medical instrumentation Precision data acquisition Transducer interfaces
