The AD8220 is the first single-supply, JFET input instrumentation amplifier available in an MSOP package. Designed to meet the needs of high performance, portable instrumentation, the AD8220 has a minimum common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 86 dB at dc and a minimum CMRR of 80 dB at 5 kHz for G = 1. Maximum input bias current is 10 pA and typically remains below 300 pA over the entire industrial temperature range. Despite the JFET inputs, the AD8220 typically has a noise corner of only 10 Hz.With the proliferation of mixed-signal processing, the number of power supplies required in each system has grown. The AD8220 is designed to alleviate this problem. The AD8220 can operate on a ±18 V dual supply, as well as on a single +5 V supply. Its rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5 V supply eliminates the need to use higher voltage, dual supplies. The AD8220 draws a maximum of 750 μA of quiescent current, making it ideal for battery powered devices.Gain is set from 1 to 1000 with a single resistor. Increasing the gain increases the common-mode rejection. Measurements that need higher CMRR when reading small signals benefit when the AD8220 is set for large gains.A reference pin allows the user to offset the output voltage. This feature is useful when interfacing with analog-to-digital converters. The AD8220 is available in an MSOP that takes roughly half the board area of an SOIC. Performance for the A and B grade is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C, and the W grade is specified over the automotive temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.Applications Medical instrumentation Precision data acquisition Transducer interfaces

The AD7986 is an 18-bit, 2 MSPS successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It contains a low power,high speed, 18-bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, an internal reference (and buffer), error correction circuits, anda versatile serial interface port. On the rising edge of CNV, the AD7986 samples the voltage difference between the IN+ andIN− pins. The voltages on these pins usually swing in opposite phases between 0 V and VREF. It features a very high samplingrate turbo mode (TURBO = high) and a reduced power normal mode (TURBO = low) for low power applications where thepower is scaled with the throughput.In normal mode (TURBO = low), the SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisychainseveral ADCs on a single 3-wire bus and provide an optional busy indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 2.7 V using theseparate VIO supply.The AD7986 is available in a 20-lead LFCSP with operationspecified from −40°C to +85°C. The AD9162 is a high performance, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that supports data rates to 6 GSPS. The DAC core is based on a quad-switch architecture coupled with a 2× interpolator filter that enables an effective DAC update rate of up to 12 GSPS in some modes. The high dynamic range and bandwidth makes these DACs ideally suited for the most demanding high speed radio frequency (RF) DAC applications.In baseband mode, wide bandwidth capability combines with high dynamic range to support DOCSIS 3.1 cable infrastructure compliance from the minimum of two carriers to full maximum spectrum of 1.794 GHz. A 2× interpolator filter (FIR85) enables the AD9161/AD9162 to be configured for lower data rates and converter clocking to reduce the overall system power and ease the filtering requirements. In Mix-Mode™ operation, the AD9161/AD9162 can reconstruct RF carriers in the second and third Nyquist zones up to 7.5 GHz while still maintaining exceptional dynamic range. The output current can be programmed from 8 mA to 38.76 mA. The AD9161/AD9162 data interface consists of up to eight JESD204B serializer/deserializer (SERDES) lanes that are programmable in terms of lane speed and number of lanes to enable application flexibility.A serial peripheral interface (SPI) can configure the AD9161/AD9162 and monitor the status of all registers. The AD9161/AD9162 are offered in an 165-ball, 8.0 mm × 8.0 mm, 0.5 mm pitch, CSP_BGA package and in an 169-ball, 11 mm × 11 mm, 0.8 mm pitch, CSP_BGA package, including a leaded ball option for the AD9162.Product Highlights High dynamic range and signal reconstruction bandwidth supports RF signal synthesis of up to 7.5 GHz. They are an ideal choice fordriving high performance ADCs with resolutions up to 16 bitsfrom dc to 100 MHz. The output common-mode voltage is useradjustable by means of an internal common-mode feedback loop,allowing the ADA4939-1 / ADA4939-2 output to match the inputof the ADC. The internal feedback loop also provides exceptionaloutput balance as well as suppression of even-order harmonicdistortion products.With the ADA4939-1 / ADA4939-2, differential gain configurationsare easily realized with a simple external feedback network of fourresistors that determine the closed-loop gain of the amplifier.The ADA4939-1 / ADA4939-2 are fabricated using Analog Devices,Inc., proprietary silicon-germanium (SiGe), complementary bipolarprocess, enabling them to achieve very low levels of distortion withan input voltage noise of only 2.3 nV/√Hz. The low dc offset andexcellent dynamic performance of the ADA4939-1 / ADA4939-2make them well suited for a wide variety of data acquisition andsignal processing applications.The ADA4939-1 (single) is available in a 3 mm × 3 mm, 16-leadLFCSP, and the ADA4939-2 (dual) is available in a 4 mm × 4 mm,24-lead LFCSP. The pinouts are optimized to facilitate printedcircuit board (PCB) layout and minimize distortion. The ADSP-BF531 / ADSP-BF532 / ADSP-BF533 processors are members of the Blackfin® family of products, incorporating the Analog Devices, Inc./Intel Micro Signal Architecture (MSA). Blackfin processors combine a dual-MAC state-of-the-art signal processing engine, the advantages of a clean, orthogonal RISC-like microprocessor instruction set, and single instruction, multiple data (SIMD) multimedia capabilities into a single instruction set architecture. The ADSP-BF531 / ADSP-BF532 / ADSP-BF533 processors are completely code and pin-compatible, differing only with respect to their performance and on-chip memory.
