AD7862ANZ-10
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7862 is a high speed, low power, dual 12-bit A/D converter that operates from a single +5 V supply. The part contains two 4 µs successive approximation ADCs, two track/ hold amplifiers, an internal +2.5 V reference and a high speed parallel interface. There are four analog inputs that are grouped into two channels (A & B) selected by the A0 input. Each channel has two inputs (VA1 & VA2 or VB1 & VB2) that can be sampled and converted simultaneously thus preserving the relative phase information of the signals on both analog inputs. The part accepts an analog input range of ±10 V (AD7862-10), ±2.5 V (AD7862-3) and 02.5 V (AD7862-2). Overvoltage protection on the analog inputs for the part allows the input voltage to go to ±17 V, ±7 V or +7 V, respectively, without causing damage.A single conversion start signal (CONVST) places both track/ holds into hold simultaneously and initiates conversion on both inputs. The BUSY signal indicates the end of conversion, and at this time the conversion results for both channels are available to be read. The first read after a conversion accesses the result from VA1 or VB1, while the second read accesses the result from VA2 or VB2, depending on whether the multiplexer select A0 is low or high, respectively. Data is read from the part via a 12-bit parallel data bus with standard CS and RD signals. In addition to the traditional dc accuracy specifications such as linearity, full-scale and offset errors, the part is also specified for dynamic performance parameters including harmonic distortion and signal-to-noise ratio. The AD7862 is fabricated in Analog Devices' Linear Compatible CMOS (LC2MOS) process, a mixed technology process that combines precision bipolar circuits with low power CMOS logic. It is available in 28-lead SSOP, SOIC and DIP.APPLICATIONS AC Motor Control Uninterrupted Power Supplies Data Acquisition Systems CommunicationsPRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The AD7862 features two complete ADC functions allowing simultaneous sampling and conversion of two channels. Each ADC has a 2-channel input mux. The conversion result for both channels is available 3.6 µs after initiating conversion. The AD7862 operates from a single +5 V supply and consumes 60 mW typ. The automatic power-down mode, where the part goes into power down once conversion is complete and “wakes up” before the next conversion cycle, makes the AD7862 ideal for battery-powered or portable applications. The part offers a high speed parallel interface for easy connection to microprocessors, microcontrollers and digital signal processors. The part is offered in three versions with different analog input ranges. The AD7862-10 offers the standard industrial input range of ±10 V; the AD7862-3 offers the common signal processing input range of ±2.5 V; while the AD7862-2 can be used in unipolar 0 V – +2.5 V applications. The part features very tight aperture delay matching between the two input sample-and-hold amplifiers.

The AD7864 is a high speed, low power, 4-channel, simulta-neous sampling 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 5 V supply. The part contains a 1.65 μs successive approximation ADC, four track-and-hold amplifiers, a 2.5 V reference, an on-chip clock oscillator, signal conditioning circuitry, and a high speed parallel interface. The input signals on four channels sample simultaneously preserving the relative phase information of the signals on the four analog inputs. The part accepts analog input ranges of ±10 V, ±5 V (AD7864-1), 0 V to +2.5 V, 0 V to +5 V (AD7864-2), and ±2.5 V (AD7864-3).Any subset of the four channels can be converted to maximize the throughput rate on the selected sequence. Select the channels to convert via hardware (channel select input pins) or software (programming the channel select register).A single conversion start signal (CONVST) simultaneously places all the track-and-holds into hold and initiates a conversion sequence for the selected channels. The EOC signal indicates the end of each individual conversion in the selected conversion sequence. The BUSY signal indicates the end of the conversion sequence.Data is read from the part by a 12-bit parallel data bus using the standard CS and RD signals. Maximum throughput for a single channel is 500 kSPS. For all four channels, the maximum throughput is 130 kSPS for the read-during-conversion sequence operation. The throughput rate for the read-after-conversion sequence operation depends on the read cycle time of the processor. See the Timing and Control section. The AD7864 is available in a small (0.3 square inch area) 44-lead MQFP.

The OP77 significantly advances the state-of-the-art in precision op amps. The outstanding gain of 10,000,000 or more for the OP77 is maintained over the full 10 V output range. This exceptional gain-linearity eliminates incorrectable system nonlinearities common in previous monolithic op amps and provides superior performance in high closed-loop gain applications. Low initial VOS drift and rapid stabilization time, combined with only 50 mW of power consumption, are significant improvements over previous designs. These characteristics, plus the exceptional TCVOS of 0.3 μV/°C maximum and the low VOS of 25 μV maximum, eliminates the need for VOS adjustment and increases system accuracy over temperature.PSRR of 3µV/V (110dB) and CMRR of 1.0µV/V maximum virtually eliminates errors caused by power supply drifts and common-mode signals. This combination of outstanding characteristics makes the OP77 ideally suited for high-resolution instrumentation and other tight error budget systems.

The OP-97 is a low-power alternative to the industry-standard OP-07 precision amplifier. The OP-97 maintains the standards of performance set by the OP-07 while utilizing only 600µA supply current, less than 1/6 that of an OP-07. Offset voltage is an ultra-low 25µV, and drift over temperature is below 0.6µV/°C. External offset trimming is not required in the majority of circuits.Improvements have been made over OP-07 specifications in several areas. Notable is bias current, which remains below 250pA over the full military temperature range. The OP-97 is ideal for use in precision long-term integrators or sample-and-hold circuits that must operate at elevated temperatures.Common-mode rejection and power-supply rejection are also improved with the OP-97, at 114dB minimum over wider ranges of common-mode or supply voltage. Outstanding PSR, a supply range specified from ±2.25V to ±20V and the OP-97's minimal power requirements combine to make the OP-97 a preferred device for portable and battery-powered instruments. The OP-97 conforms to the OP-07 pinout, with the null potentimeter connected between pins 1 and 8 with the wiper to V+. The OP-97 will upgrade circuit designs using 725, OP05, OP07, OP12, and 1012 type amplifiers. It may replace 741-type amplifiers in circuits without nullling or where the nulling circuitry has been removed.

TMP36GSZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The TMP35/TMP36/TMP37 are low voltage, precision centigrade temperature sensors. They provide a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the Celsius (centigrade) temperature. The TMP35/ TMP36/TMP37 do not require any external calibration to provide typical accuracies of ±1°C at +25°C and ±2°C over the −40°C to +125°C temperature range. The low output impedance of the TMP35/TMP36/TMP37 and its linear output and precise calibration simplify interfacing to temperature control circuitry and ADCs. All three devices are intended for single-supply operation from 2.7 V to 5.5 V maximum. The supply current runs well below 50 μA, providing very low self-heating—less than 0.1°C in still air. In addition, a shutdown function is provided to cut the supply current to less than 0.5 μA.The TMP35 is functionally compatible with the LM35/LM45 and provides a 250 mV output at 25°C. The TMP35 reads temperatures from 10°C to 125°C. The TMP36 is specified from −40°C to +125°C, provides a 750 mV output at 25°C, and operates to 125°C from a single 2.7 V supply. The TMP36 is functionally compatible with the LM50. Both the TMP35 and TMP36 have an output scale factor of 10 mV/°C.The TMP37 is intended for applications over the range of 5°C to 100°C and provides an output scale factor of 20 mV/°C. The TMP37 provides a 500 mV output at 25°C. Operation extends to 150°C with reduced accuracy for all devices when operating from a 5 V supply. The TMP35/TMP36/TMP37 are available in low cost 3-lead TO-92, 8-lead SOIC_N, and 5-lead SOT-23 surface-mount packages.
