The AD5272 / AD5274 are single-channel, 1024-/256-position digital rheostats that combine industry leading variable resistor performance with nonvolatile memory (NVM) in a compact package.The AD5272 / AD5274 ensure less than 1% end-to-end resistor tolerance error and offer 50-times programmable (50-TP) memory.The guaranteed industry leading low resistor tolerance error feature simplifies open-loop applications as well as precision calibration and tolerance matching applications.The AD5272 / AD5274 device wiper settings are controllable through the I2C-compatible digital interface. It is an ideal choice for driving low power, high performance ADCs as a single-ended-to-differential or differential-to-differential amplifier. It provides a precision gain of 1, common-mode level shifting, low temperature drift, and rail-to-rail outputs for maximum dynamic range.The AD8476 also provides overvoltage protection from large industrial input voltages up to ±23 V while operating on a dual 5 V supply. The AD7781 is a complete low power front-end solution for bridge sensor products, including weigh scales, strain gages, and pressure sensors. It contains a precision low power 20-bit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) ADC, an on-chip, low noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), and an on-chip oscillator.Consuming only 330 μA, the AD7781 is particularly suitable forportable or battery-operated products where very low power is required. The AD7781 also has a power-down mode that allows the user to switch off the power to the bridge sensor and power down the AD7781 when not converting, thus increasing the battery life of the product.For ease of use, all the features of the AD7781 are controlled bydedicated pins. Each time that a data read occurs, eight status bits are appended to the 20-bit conversion. These status bits contain a pattern sequence that can be used to confirm the validity of the serial transfer.The on-chip PGA has a gain of 1 or 128, supporting a full-scaledifferential input of ±5 V or ±39 mV. The AD8338 is a variable gain amplifier (VGA) for applicationsthat require a fully differential signal path, low power, low noise,and a well-defined gain over frequency. Although the inputs aredifferential, the device can also be driven with a single-endedsource if required.The basic gain function is linear-in-dB and is controlled by thevoltage applied to Pin GAIN. The nominal gain range spansfrom 0 dB to 80 dB for control voltages between 0.1 V to 1.1 Vwith a slope of 12.5 mV/dB. The nominal gain range can beshifted up or down via direct access to Pin INPD and Pin INMD,the current inputs of the VGA. For example, driving the INPDand INMD pins with 50 Ω resistors shifts the gain range up by20 dB, that is, 20 dB to 100 dB, and lowers the input referrednoise of the device to 1.5 nV/√Hz. The AD8638/AD8639 are single and dual wide bandwidth, auto-zero amplifiers featuring rail-to-rail output swing and low noise. These amplifiers have very low offset, drift, and bias current. Operation is fully specified from 5 V to 16 V single supply (±2.5 V to ±8 V dual supply). The AD8638/AD8639 provide benefits previously found only in expensive zero-drift or chopper-stabilized amplifiers. Using the Analog Devices, Inc., topology, these auto-zero amplifiers combine low cost with high accuracy and low noise. No external capacitors are required. In addition, the AD8638/AD8639 greatly reduce the digital switching noise found in most chopper- stabilized amplifiers. With a typical offset voltage of only 3 μV, drift of 0.01 μV/°C, and noise of 1.2 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the AD8638/AD8639 are suited for applications in which error sources cannot be tolerated.
