The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are the next generation of the AD820/AD822/AD824 single-supply, rail-to-rail output (RRO), precision junction field effect transistors (JFET) input op amps. The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 include many improvements that make them desirable as upgrades without compromising the flexibility and ease of use that makes the AD820/AD822/AD824 useful for a wide variety of applications.The input voltage range includes the negative supply and the output swings rail-to-rail. Input EMI filters increase the signal robustness in the face of closely located switching noise sources.The speed, in terms of bandwidth and slew rate, increases along with a strong output drive to improve settling time performance and enables the devices to drive the inputs of modern single-ended, successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).Voltage noise is reduced; although the supply current remains the same as the AD820/AD822/AD824, broadband noise is reduced by 25%, and 1/f is reduced by half. DC precision in the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 with half the offset and a maximum thermal drift specification added to the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4. The common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 to make the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 more suitable when used in noninverting gain and difference amplifier configurations.The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, and operate from 5 V to 30 V, with specifications at +5 V, ±5 V, and ±15 V. The ADA4622-1 is available in a 5-lead SOT-23 package and an 8-lead LFCSP package. The ADA4622-2 is available in an 8-lead SOIC_N package, an 8-lead MSOP package, and an 8-lead LFCSP package. The ADA4805-1 is a high speed voltage feedback rail-to-rail output amplifier with an exceptionally low quiescent current of 495 μA, making it ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems. Despite being low power, this amplifier provides excellent overall performance. It offers a high bandwidth of 105 MHz at a gain of 1, high slew rate of 160 V/μs, and a low input offset voltage of 125 μV maximum.A shutdown pin allows further reduction of the quiescent supply current to 3 μA. For power sensitive applications, the shutdown mode offers very fast turn-on time of 3 μs from shutdown to fully on (output settled to 16 bits). This allows the user to dynamically manage the power of the amplifier by turning the amplifier off between ADC samples.The Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary extra fast complementary bipolar (XFCB) process allows for both low voltage and low current noise (5.9 nV/√Hz, 0.6 pA/√Hz). The ADA4805-1 operates over a wide range of supply voltages from ±1.5 V to ±5 V, as well as from single 3 V and 5 V supplies, making it ideal for high speed, low power instruments.The ADA4805-1 amplifier is available in both a 6-lead SOT-23 and a 6-lead SC70 package. The ADE9000 is a highly accurate, fully integrated, multiphase energy and power quality monitoring device. Superior analog performance and a digital signal processing (DSP) core enable accurate energy monitoring over a wide dynamic range. An integrated high end reference ensures low drift over temperature with a combined drift of less than ±25 ppm/°C maximum for the entire channel including a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC).The ADE9000 offers complete power monitoring capability by providing total as well as fundamental measurements on rms, active, reactive, and apparent powers and energies. Advanced features such as dip and swell monitoring, frequency, phase angle, voltage total harmonic distortion (VTHD), current total harmonic distortion (ITHD), and power factor measurements enable implementation of power quality measurements. The ½ cycle rms and 10 cycle rms/12 cycle rms, calculated according to IEC 61000-4-30 Class S, provide instantaneous rms measurements for real-time monitoring.The ADE9000 offers an integrated flexible waveform buffer that stores samples at a fixed data rate of 32 kSPS or 8 kSPS, or a sampling rate that varies based on line frequency to ensure 128 points per line cycle. Resampling simplifies fast Fourier transform (FFT) calculation of at least 50 harmonics in an external processor.The ADE9000 simplifies the implementation of energy and power quality monitoring systems by providing tight integration of acquisition and calculation engines. The integrated ADCs and DSP engine calculate various parameters and provide data through user accessible registers or indicate events through interrupt pins. With seven dedicated ADC channels, the ADE9000 can be used on a 3-phase system or up to three single-phase systems. It supports current transformers (CTs) or Rogowski coils for current measurements. A digital integrator eliminates a discrete integrator required for Rogowski coils.The ADE9000 absorbs most complexity in calculations for a power monitoring system. The ADF4152HV is a 5.0 GHz, fractional-N or integer N frequency synthesizer with an integrated high voltage charge pump. The synthesizer can drive external wideband voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) directly, eliminating the need for operational amplifiers to achieve higher tuning voltages. The ADM7170 is a CMOS, low dropout linear regulator (LDO) that operates from 2.3 V to 6.5 V and provides up to 500 mA of output current. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 μF ceramic output capacitor. Load transient response is typically 1.5 μs for a 1 mA to 500 mA load step.The ADM7170 is available in 17 fixed output voltage options. The following voltages are available from stock: 1.3 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.2 V, and 5.0 V. Additional voltages that are available by special order are: 1.5 V, 1.85 V, 2.0 V, 2.2 V, 2.7 V, 2.75 V, 2.8 V, 2.85 V, 3.8 V, and 4.6 V. An adjustable version is also available that allows output voltages that range from 1.2 V to VIN − VDO with an external feedback divider.Inrush current can be controlled by adjusting the start-up time via the soft start pin. The typical start-up time with a 1 nF soft start capacitor is about 1.0 ms.The ADM7170 regulator output noise is 5 μV rms independent of the output voltage. The ADP5300 is a high efficiency, ultralow quiescent current step-down regulator that draws only 180 nA quiescent current to regulate the output at no load.The ADP5300 runs from an input supply voltage range of 2.15 V to 6.50 V, allowing the use of multiple alkaline or NiMH, Li-Ion cells, or other power sources. The output voltage is selectable from 0.8 V to 5.0 V by an external VID resistor and factory fuse. The total solution requires only four tiny external components.The ADP5300 can operate between hysteresis mode and PWM mode via the SYNC/MODE pin. The regulator in hysteresis mode achieves excellent efficiency at a power of less than 1 mW and provides up to 50 mA of output current. The regulator in PWM mode produces a lower output ripple and supplies up to 500 mA of output current. The flexible configuration capability during operation of the device enables very efficient power management to meet both the longest battery life and low system noise requirements.The ADP5300 contains a VOUTOK flag, which monitors the output voltage and runs at a 2 MHz switching frequency in PWM mode.
