AD9652-310EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9652 is a dual, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with sampling speeds of up to 310 MSPS. It is designed to support demanding, high speed signal processing applications that require exceptional dynamic range over a wide input frequency range (up to 465 MHz). Its exceptional low noise floor of −157.6 dBFS and large signal spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) performance (exceeding 85 dBFS, typical) allows low level signals to be resolved in the presence of large signals. The dual ADC cores feature a multistage, pipelined architecture with integrated output error correction logic. A high performance on-chip buffer and internal voltage reference simplify the inter-face to external driving circuitry while preserving the exceptional performance of the ADC.The AD9652 can support input clock frequencies of up to 1.24 GHz with a 1, 2, 4, and 8 integer clock divider used to generate the ADC sample clock. A duty cycle stabilizer is provided to compensate for variations in the ADC clock duty cycle. The 16-bit output data (with an overrange bit) from each ADC is interleaved onto a single LVDS output port along with a double data rate (DDR) clock. Programming for setup and control are accomplished using a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface. The AD9652 is available in a 144-ball CSP_BGA and is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. This product is protected by pending U.S. patents. PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Integrated dual, 16-bit, 310 MSPS ADCs. On-chip buffer simplifies ADC driver interface. AD8009ARZ-REEL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8009 is an ultrahigh speed current feedback amplifier with a phenomenal 5,500 V/µs slew rate that results in a rise time of 545 ps, making it ideal as a pulse amplifier. The high slew rate reduces the effect of slew rate limiting and results in the large signal bandwidth of 440 MHz required for high resolution video graphic systems. Signal quality is maintained over a wide bandwidth with worst case distortion of -40 dBc @ 250 MHz (G = +10, 1 V p-p). For applications with multitone signals such as IF signal chains, the third order Intercept (3IP) of 12 dBm is achieved at the same frequency. This distortion performance coupled with the current feedback architecture make the AD8009 a flexible component for a gain stage amplifier in IF/RF signal chains. The AD8009 is capable of delivering over 175 mA of load current and will drive four back terminated video loads while maintaining low differential gain and phase error of 0.02% & 0.04° respectively. The high drive capability is also reflected in the ability to deliver 10 dBm of output power @ 70 MHz with -38 dBc SFDR.The AD8009 is available in a small SOIC package and will operate over the industrial temperature range -40° C to +85° C. The AD8009 is also available in an SOT-23-5 and will operate over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.An evaluation board is available for this product and may be ordered using the following product number: AD8009-EB.

AD8220BRMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8220 is the first single-supply, JFET input instrumentation amplifier available in an MSOP package. Designed to meet the needs of high performance, portable instrumentation, the AD8220 has a minimum common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 86 dB at dc and a minimum CMRR of 80 dB at 5 kHz for G = 1. Maximum input bias current is 10 pA and typically remains below 300 pA over the entire industrial temperature range. Despite the JFET inputs, the AD8220 typically has a noise corner of only 10 Hz.With the proliferation of mixed-signal processing, the number of power supplies required in each system has grown. The AD8220 is designed to alleviate this problem. The AD8220 can operate on a ±18 V dual supply, as well as on a single +5 V supply. Its rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5 V supply eliminates the need to use higher voltage, dual supplies. The AD8220 draws a maximum of 750 μA of quiescent current, making it ideal for battery powered devices.Gain is set from 1 to 1000 with a single resistor. Increasing the gain increases the common-mode rejection. Measurements that need higher CMRR when reading small signals benefit when the AD8220 is set for large gains.A reference pin allows the user to offset the output voltage. This feature is useful when interfacing with analog-to-digital converters. The AD8220 is available in an MSOP that takes roughly half the board area of an SOIC. Performance for the A and B grade is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C, and the W grade is specified over the automotive temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.Applications Medical instrumentation Precision data acquisition Transducer interfaces

Offset drift and gain drift are guaranteed to 1.8 μV/°C and 10 ppm/°C, respectively, for G = 8. In addition to its wide input common voltage range, it boasts a high common-mode rejection of 80 dB at G = 1 from dc to 50 kHz. The combination of precision dc performance coupled with high speed capabilities makes the AD8251 an excellent candidate for data acquisition. Furthermore, this monolithic solution simplifies design and manufacturing and boosts performance of instrumentation by maintaining a tight match of internal resistors and amplifiers. The AD8251 user interface consists of a parallel port that allows users to set the gain in one of two different ways (see Figure 1 in data sheet for the functional block diagram). A 2-bit word sent via a bus can be latched using the WR input. An alternative is to use transparent gain mode where the state of logic levels at the gain port determines the gain. The AD8251 is available in a 10-lead MSOP package and is specified over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range, making it an excellent solution for applications where size and packing density are important considerations. AD8337-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8337 is a low noise, single-ended, linear-in-dB, general-purpose variable gain amplifier (VGA) usable at frequencies from dc to 100 MHz; the −3 dB bandwidth is 280 MHz. Excellent bandwidth uniformity across the entire gain range and low output-referred noise makes the AD8337 ideal for gain trim applications and for driving high speed analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).Excellent dc characteristics combined with high speed make the AD8337 particularly suited for industrial ultrasound, PET scanners, and video applications. Dual-supply operation enables gain control of negative-going pulses such as generated by photodiodes or photomultiplier tubes. The AD8337 uses the popular and versatile X-AMP® architecture, exclusively from Analog Devices, Inc., with a gain range of 24 dB. The gain control interface provides precise linear-in-dB scaling of 19.7 dB/V, referenced to VCOM.The AD8337 includes an uncommitted operational current-feedback preamplifier (PrA) that operates in inverting or noninverting configurations. Using external resistors, the device can be configured for gains of 6 dB or greater. The AD8337 is characterized by a noninverting PrA gain of 2× using two external 100 Ω resistors. The attenuator has a range of 24 dB, and the output amplifier has a fixed gain of 8× (18.06 dB). The lowest nominal gain range is 0 dB to 24 dB and can be shifted up or down by adjusting the preamp gain. Multiple AD8337s can be connected in series for larger gain ranges, and for interstage filtering to suppress noise and distortion, and for nulling offset voltages. The operating temperature range is –40°C to +85°C, and it is available in an 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP.Applications Gain trim PET scanners High performance AGC systems I/Q signal processing Video Industrial and medical ultrasound Radar receivers
