The AD9837 is a low power, programmable waveform generatorcapable of producing sine, triangular, and square wave outputs.Waveform generation is required in various types of sensing,actuation, and time domain reflectometry (TDR) applications. The outputfrequency and phase are software programmable, allowing easytuning. The frequency registers are 28 bits: with a 16 MHz clock rate, resolution of 0.06 Hz can be achieved; with a 5 MHz clock rate, the AD9837can be tuned to 0.02 Hz resolution.The AD9837 is written to via a 3-wire serial interface. This serialinterface operates at clock rates up to 40 MHz and is compatiblewith DSP and microcontroller standards. The device operateswith a power supply from 2.3 V to 5.5 V.The AD9837 has a power-down (SLEEP) function. Sections of the device that are not being used can be powered down to minimize the current consumption of the part. The AD9914 is a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) featuring a 12‑bit DAC. The AD9914 uses advanced DDS technology, coupled with an internal high speed, high performance DAC to form a digitally programmable, complete high frequency synthesizer capable of generating a frequency-agile analog output sinusoidal waveform at up to 1.4 GHz. The AD9914 enables fast frequency hopping and fine tuning resolution (64‑bit capable using programmable modulus mode). The AD9914 also offers fast phase and amplitude hopping capability. The frequency tuning and control words are loaded into the AD9914 via a serial or parallel input/output port.The AD9914 also supports a user defined linear sweep mode of operation for generating linear swept waveforms of frequency, phase, or amplitude. The ADuM3480 / ADuM3481 / ADuM3482 are quad-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. With typical propagation delay reduced to 25 ns, pulse width distortion is also halved.The four channels of the ADuM3480 / ADuM3481 / ADuM3482 are available in a variety of channel configurations with two data rate grades up to 25 Mbps (see the Ordering Guide section). All models use separate core and I/O power supplies. The core operates between 3.0 V and 5.5 V, whereas the I/O supply can range from 1.8 V to 5.5 V. If operation is required within the range of the core supply, the two supplies can be tied together to allow single-supply operation. When the I/O must interface with logic levels that are different from the core supply voltage, then the I/O supply can be operated independently of the core supply over a wider range.
