The device contains a low noise, 24-bit Σ-Δ analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and can be configured to have 4 differential inputs or 7 single-ended or pseudo differential inputs. The device contains a precision, low noise, low drift internal band gap reference, and also accepts an external differential reference, which can be internally buffered. Other key integrated features include programmable low drift excitation current sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator, which sets the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2. The low-side power switch enables the user to power down bridge sensors between conversions, ensuring the absolute minimal power consumption of the system. The AD7284 contains all the functions required for the general-purpose monitoring of stacked Li-Ion batteries, as used in hybrid electric vehicles and battery backup applications.The AD7284 has multiplexed cell voltage and auxiliary, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) measurement channels supporting four to eight cells of battery management. The device provides a maximum total unadjusted error, TUE, (cell voltage accuracy) of ±3 mV that includes all the internal errors from input to output. The primary ADC resolution is 14 bits.The AD7284 also includes an integrated secondary measurement path that validates the data on the primary ADC. Other diagnostic features include the detection of open inputs, communication, and power supply related faults.The AD7284 cell balancing interface outputs control the external field effect transistors (FETs) to allow discharging of individual cells.There are two on-chip 2.5 V voltage references: one reference for the primary measurement path, and one for the secondary measurement path.The AD7284 operates from one VDD supply, ranging from 10 V to 40 V. The device provides eight differential analog input channels to accommodate large common-mode signals across the full VDD range. Each channel allows an input signal range, VPINx − VPIN(x − 1) and VSINx – VSIN(x − 1), of 0 V to 5 V, where x = 0 to 8. The input pins assume a series stack of eight cells. The AD7284 includes four auxiliary ADC input channels that can be used for temperature measurement or system diagnostics.The AD7284 has a differential daisy-chain interface that allows multiple devices to be stacked without the need for individual device isolation. The AD9161 is a high performance, 11-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that supports data rates to 6 GSPS. The DAC core is based on a quad-switch architecture coupled with a 2× interpolator filter that enables an effective DAC update rate of up to 12 GSPS in some modes. The high dynamic range and bandwidth makes these DACs ideally suited for the most demanding high speed radio frequency (RF) DAC applications.In baseband mode, wide bandwidth capability combines with high dynamic range to support DOCSIS 3.1 cable infrastructure compliance from the minimum of two carriers to full maximum spectrum of 1.794 GHz. A 2× interpolator filter (FIR85) enables the AD9161/AD9162 to be configured for lower data rates and converter clocking to reduce the overall system power and ease the filtering requirements. In Mix-Mode™ operation, the AD9161/AD9162 can reconstruct RF carriers in the second and third Nyquist zones up to 7.5 GHz while still maintaining exceptional dynamic range. The output current can be programmed from 8 mA to 38.76 mA. The AD9161/AD9162 data interface consists of up to eight JESD204B serializer/deserializer (SERDES) lanes that are programmable in terms of lane speed and number of lanes to enable application flexibility.A serial peripheral interface (SPI) can configure the AD9161/AD9162 and monitor the status of all registers. The AD9576 provides a multiple output clock generator function comprising two dedicated phase-locked loop (PLL) cores with flexible frequency translation capability, optimized to serve as a robust source of asynchronous clocks for an entire system, providing extended operating life within frequency tolerance through monitoring of and automatic switchover between redundant crystal (XTAL) inputs with minimized switching, induced transients. The fractional-N PLL design is based on the Analog Devices, Inc., proven portfolio of high performance, low jitter frequency synthesizers to maximize network performance, whereas the integer-N PLL provides general-purpose clocks for use as CPU and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) reference clocks.The AD9576 uses pin strapping to select among a multitude of power-on ready configurations for its 11 output clocks, which require only the connection of external pull-up or pull-down resistors to the appropriate pin program reader pins (PPRx). These pins provide control of the internal dividers for establishing the desired frequency translations, clock output functionality, and input reference functionality. These parameters can also be manually configured through a serial port interface (SPI).The AD9576 is packaged in a 64-lead, 9 mm × 9 mm LFCSP, requiring only a single 2.5 V or 3.3 V supply. The operating temperature range is −40°C to +85°C.Each OUTx output is differential and contains two pins: OUTx and OUTx. The AD9625 is a 12-bit monolithic sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates at conversion rates of up to 2.6 giga samples per second (GSPS). This product is designed for sampling wide bandwidth analog signals up to the second Nyquist zone. The combination of wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, and excellent linearity of the AD9625 is ideally suited for spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems, and a wide assortment of military electronics applications, such as radar and jamming/antijamming measures.The analog input, clock, and SYSREF± signals are differential inputs. The JESD204B-based high speed serialized output is configurable in a variety of one-, two-, four-, six-, or eight-lane configurations.
