The ADE7953 is a high accuracy electrical energy measurementIC intended for single phase applications. It measures line voltageand current and calculates active, reactive, and apparent energy,as well as instantaneous rms voltage and current.The device incorporates three Σ-Δ ADCs with a high accuracyenergy measurement core. The second input channel simultaneouslymeasures neutral current and enables tamper detectionand neutral current billing. The additional channel incorporatesa complete signal path that allows a full range of measurements.Each input channel supports independent and flexible gain stages,making the device suitable for use with a variety of current sensorssuch as current transformers (CTs) and low value shunt resistors.Two on-chip integrators facilitate the use of Rogowski coil sensors.The ADE7953 provides access to on-chip meter registers via avariety of communication interfaces including SPI, I2C, and UART.Two configurable low jitter pulse output pins provide outputs thatare proportional to active, reactive, or apparent energy, as well ascurrent and voltage rms. A full range of power quality informationsuch as overcurrent, overvoltage, peak, and sag detection areaccessible via the external IRQ pin. Independent active, reactive,and apparent no-load detections are included to prevent “metercreep.” Dedicated reverse power (REVP), zero-crossing voltage(ZX), and zero-crossing current (ZX_I) pins are also provided. TheADE7953 energy metering IC operates from a 3.3 V supply voltageand is available in a 28-lead LFCSP package.

Demonstration circuit 862 is a micropower regulated charge pump DC/DC converter featuring the 60mA output LTC3221 in a 2mm × 2mm DFN package. It comes in three assembly versions, DC862A-A, DC862A-B and DC862A-C, featuring the LTC3221EDC-3.3 (fixed 3.3V output), the LTC3221EDC-5 (fixed 5V output) , and LTC3221EDC (adjustable output set to 3V), respectively. The demo board input voltage range depends on the IC used; for the adjustable output DC862A-C, the input voltage range is 1.8V to 3.8V. The LTC3221's low 8µA no-load quiescent current is even lower than the self-discharging current of many batteries. By employing a constant current to charge the output, the output ripple is low even at high input and light load, and is fairly constant over the full input voltage range.

The HMC7043 is designed to meet the requirements of multicarrier GSM and LTE base station designs, and offers a wide range of clock management and distribution features to simplify baseband and radio card clock tree designs.The HMC7043 provides 14 low noise and configurable outputs to offer flexibility in interfacing with many different components in a base transceiver station (BTS) system, such as data converters, local oscillators, transmit/receive modules, field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and digital front-end ASICs. The HMC7043 can generate up to seven DCLK and SYSREF clock pairs per the JESD204B/JESD204C interface requirements.The system designer can generate a lower number of DCLK and SYSREF pairs, and configure the remaining output signal paths for independent phase and frequency. Both the DCLK and SYSREF clock outputs can be configured to support different signaling standards, including CML, LVDS, LVPECL, and LVCMOS, and different bias conditions to adjust for varying board insertion losses. One of the unique features of the HMC7043 is the independent flexible phase management of each of the 14 channels. All 14 channels feature both frequency and phase adjustment. The outputs can also be programmed for 50 ? or 100 ? internal and external termination options. The HMC7043 device features an RF SYNC feature that synchronizes multiple HMC7043 devices deterministically, that is, ensures that all clock outputs start with the same edge. This operation is achieved by rephrasing the nested HMC7043 or SYSREF control unit/divider, deterministically, and then restarting the output dividers with this new phase. The HMC7043 is offered in a 48-lead, 7 mm ? 7 mm LFCSP package with an exposed pad connected to ground. The microcontrollercore is an 8052 and therefore 8051 instruction set compatiblewith 12 core clock periods per machine cycle.62 Kbytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE program memory, 4 Kbytes ofnonvolatile Flash/EE data memory, and 2304 bytes of data RAMare provided on-chip. The program memory can be configuredas data memory to give up to 60 Kbytes of NV data memory indata logging applications.On-chip factory firmware supports in-circuit serial download anddebug modes (via UART), as well as single-pin emulation modevia the EA pin. The SSM3302 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, stereo Class-D audio amplifier. The application circuit requires minimal externalcomponents and operates from a single 7 V to 18 V supply. The device is capable of delivering 2 × 10 W of continuous output power into a 4 Ω load (or 2 × 8 W into 8 Ω) with 98 dB. Spread spectrum pulse density modulation (PDM) is used toprovide lower EMI radiated emissions compared with other Class-D architectures. The SSM3302 includes an optional modulation select pin (ultralow EMI emission mode) that significantly reduces the radiated emissions at the Class-D outputs, particularly above 100 MHz. The SSM3302 can pass FCC Class-B emissions testing with an unshielded 20 inch cable using common-mode choke-based filtering.The fully differential input of the SSM3302 provides excellent rejection of common-mode noise on the input. The device also includes a highly flexible gain select pin that only requires one series resistor to choose a gain between 9 dB and 24 dB, with no change to the input impedance. The benefit of this is to improve gain matching between multiple SSM3302 devices within a single application compared with using external resistors to set gain.The SSM3302 includes an integrated voltage regulator thatgenerates a 5 V rail.The SSM3302 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typical shutdown current of 10 μA. Shutdown is enabled by applying a logic low to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry that minimizes voltage glitches at the output during turn on and turn off, reducing audible noise during activation and deactivation.Other included features to simplify system level integration of the SSM3302 are input low-pass filtering to suppress out-ofband DAC noise interference to the pulse density modulator, fixed input impedance to simplify component selection across multiple platform production builds, and a thermal warning indicator pin.The SSM3302 is specified over the commercial temperaturerange (−40°C to +85°C). It has built-in thermal shutdown andoutput short-circuit protection.
