SSM2305RMZ-REEL
Analog Devices Inc.
The SSM2305 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, Class-Daudio amplifier designed to maximize performance for mobilephone applications. The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 2.2 W of continuous outputpower with less than 1% THD + N driving a 4 Ω load from a5.0 V supply. It has built-in thermal shutdown and output short-circuitprotection.The SSM2305 features a high efficiency, low noise modulationscheme that does not require external LC output filters. The modulationprovides high efficiency even at low output power. TheSSM2305 operates with 90% efficiency at 1.3 W into 8 Ω or 83%efficiency at 2.2 W into 4 Ω from a 5.0 V supply and has an SNR of>98 dB. Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used toprovide lower EMI-radiated emissions compared with otherClass-D architectures. The SSM2305 has a micropower shutdown mode with a maximumshutdown current of 30 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga Logic 0 to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-clicksuppression circuitry. This minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, thus reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation. The fully differential input of the SSM2305 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The SSM2305 has excellent rejection of power supply noise, including noise caused by GSM transmission bursts and RFrectification. PSRR is typically 60 dB at 217 Hz.The default gain of the SSM2305 is 18 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors. The SSM2305 is specified over the commercial temperature range(−40°C to +85°C). It is available in both an 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mmlead frame chip scale package (LFCSP) and an 8-lead mini smalloutline package (MSOP). AD1939YSTZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD1939 is a high performance, single-chip codec that provides four analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with differential input, and eight digital-to-analog converters (DACs) with differential output using the Analog Devices, Inc. patented multibit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) architecture. An SPI port is included, allowing a microcontroller to adjust volume and many other parameters. The AD1939 operates from 3.3 V digital and analog supplies. The AD1939 is available in a 64-lead (differential output) LQFP package. The AD1939 is designed for low EMI. This consideration is apparent in both the system and circuit design architectures. By using the on-board PLL to derive the master clock from the LR clock or from an external crystal, the AD1939 eliminates the need for a separate high frequency master clock and can also be used with a suppressed bit clock. The DACs and ADCs are designed using the latest Analog Devices continuous time architectures to further minimize EMI. By using 3.3 V supplies, power consumption is minimized, further reducing emissions.APPLICATIONS Automotive audio systems Home Theater Systems Set-top boxes Digital audio effects processors

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD22105 is a solid state thermostatic switch. Requiring only one external programming resistor, the AD22105 can be set to switch accurately at any temperature in the wide operating range of -40°C to +150°C. Using a novel circuit architecture, the AD22105 asserts an open collector output when the ambient temperature exceeds the user-programmed setpoint temperature. The AD22105 has approximately 4°C of hysteresis which prevents rapid thermal on/off cycling. The AD22105 is designed to operate on a single power supply voltage from +2.7 V to +7.0 V facilitating operation in battery powered applications as well as in industrial control systems. Because of low power dissipation (230 µW @ 3.3 V), self-heating errors are minimized and battery life is maximized. An optional internal 200 k(ohm) pull-up resistor is included to facilitate driving light loads such as CMOS inputs.Alternatively, a low power LED indicator may be driven directly. The AD5280/AD5282 are single-channel and dual-channel, 256-position, digitally controlled variable resistors (VRs)2. The devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer, trimmer, or variable resistor. Each VR offers a completely programmable value of resistance between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A-to-B terminal resistance of 20 kΩ, 50 kΩ, or 200 kΩ has a 1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance. The nominal temperature coefficient of both parts is 30 parts per million/ degrees centigrade (ppm/°C). Another key feature is that the parts can operate up to +15 V or ±5 V.Wiper position programming defaults to midscale at system power-on. When powered, the VR wiper position is programmed by an I2C-compatible, 2-wire serial data interface. The AD5280/ AD5282 feature sleep mode programmability. This allows any level of preset in power-up and is an alternative to a costly EEPROM solution. Both parts have additional programmable logic outputs that enable users to drive digital loads, logic gates, LED drivers, and analog switches in their system. The AD5280/AD5282 are available in thin, surface-mounted 14-lead TSSOP and 16-lead TSSOP. All parts are guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. For 3-wire SPI-compatible interface applica-tions, see the AD5260/AD5262 product information on www.analog.com.Applications Multimedia, video, and audio Communications Mechanical potentiometer replacement Instrumentation: gain, offset adjustment Programmable voltage source Programmable current source Line impedance matching1 Assert shutdown and program the device during power-up, then deassert the shutdown to achieve the desired preset level.2 The terms digital potentiometer, VR, and RDAC are used interchangeably.

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5337 / AD5338 / AD5339 are dual 8-, 10-, and 12-bit buffered voltage output DACs, respectively. Each part is housed in an 8-lead MSOP package and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, consuming 250 μA at 3 V. On-chip output amplifiers allow rail-to-rail output swing with a slew rate of 0.7 V/μs. A 2-wire serial interface operates at clock rates up to 400 kHz. This interface is SMBus compatible at VDD < 3.6 V. Multiple devices can be placed on the same bus.The references for the two DACs are derived from one reference pin. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The parts incorporate a power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC outputs power up to 0 V and remain there until a valid write to the device takes place. A software clear function resets all input and DAC registers to 0 V. A power-down feature reduces the current consumption of the devices to 200 nA @ 5 V (80 nA @ 3 V).The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The power consumption is typically 1.5 mW at 5 V and 0.75 mW at 3 V, reducing to 1 μW in power-down mode.APPLICATIONS Portable battery-powered instruments Digital gain and offset adjustment Programmable voltage and current sources Programmable attenuators Industrial process control
