The OP27 precision operational amplifier combines the low offset and drift of the OP07 with both high speed and low noise. Offsets down to 25 μV and maximum drift of 0.6 μV/°C make the OP27 ideal for precision instrumentation applications. Low noise, en = 3.5 nV/√Hz, at 10 Hz, a low 1/f noise corner frequency of 2.7 Hz, and high gain (1.8 million), allow accurate high-gain amplification of low-level signals. A gain bandwidth product of 8 MHz and a 2.8 V/μs slew rate provide excellent dynamic accuracy in high speed, data-acquisition systems.A low input bias current of ±10 nA is achieved by use of a bias current cancellation circuit. Over the military temperature range, this circuit typically holds IB and IOS to ±20 nA and 15 nA, respectively.The output stage has good load driving capability. A guaranteed swing of ±10 V into 600 Ω and low output distortion make the OP27 an excellent choice for professional audio applications.PSRR and CMRR exceed 120 dB. These characteristics, coupled with long-term drift of 0.2 μV/month, allow the circuit designer to achieve performance levels previously attained only by discrete designs.Low cost, high volume production of OP27 is achieved by using an on-chip Zener zap-trimming network. This reliable and stable offset trimming scheme has proven its effectiveness over many years of production history.The OP27 provides excellent performance in low noise, high accuracy amplification of low level signals. Applications include stable integrators, precision summing amplifiers, precision voltage threshold detectors, comparators, and professional audio circuits such as tape heads and microphone preamplifiers.

The OP184/OP284/OP484 are single, dual and quad single-supply, 4 MHz bandwidth amplifiers featuring rail-to-rail inputs and outputs. They are guaranteed to operate from +3 to +36 (or ±1.5 to ±18) volts and will function with a single supply as low as +1.5 volts.These amplifiers are superb for single supply applications requiring both ac and precision dc performance. The combination of bandwidth, low noise and precision makes the OP184/OP284/ OP484 useful in a wide variety of applications, including filters and instrumentation.Other applications for these amplifiers include portable telecom equipment, power supply control and protection, and as amplifiers or buffers for transducers with wide output ranges. The OP285 is a precision high-speed amplifier featuring theButler Amplifier front-end. This new front-end designcombines the accuracy and low noise performance of bipolartransistors with the speed of JFETs. This yields an amplifierwith high slew rates, low offset and good noise performance atlow supply currents. Bias currents are also low compared tobipolar designs.The OP285 offers the slew rate and low power of a JFETamplifier combined with the precision, low noise and low driftof a bipolar amplifier. Input offset voltage is laser-trimmed andguaranteed less than 250 μV. This makes the OP285 useful indc-coupled or summing applications without the need forspecial selections or the added noise of additional offsetadjustment circuitry. Slew rates of 22 V/μs and a bandwidth of9 MHz make the OP285 one of the most accurate mediumspeed amplifiers available.The combination of low noise, speed and accuracy can be usedto build high speed instrumentation systems. Circuits such asinstrumentation amplifiers, ramp generators, bi-quad filters anddc-coupled audio systems are all practical with the OP285. Forapplications that require long term stability, the OP285 has aguaranteed maximum long term drift specification.The OP285 is specified over the XIND—extended industrial—(−40°C to +85°C) temperature range. The REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series of precision voltage references provide a stable 10.0 V, 5.0 V, or 2.5 V output with minimal change in response to variations in supply voltage, ambient temperature or load conditions. The devices are available in 8-lead SOIC, PDIP, CERDIP, and TO-99 packages, as well as 20-terminal LCC packages (883 only), furthering the usability of the devices in both standard and high stress applications.With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP terminal can be used for temperature sensing and approximation. A TRIM terminal is also provided on the device for fine adjustment of the output voltage.The small footprint, wide supply range, and application versatility make the REF0x series of references ideal for general-purpose and space-constrained applications.Newer designs should use the ADR01 / ADR02 / ADR03 / ADR06 series of references, which offer higher accuracy and temperature stability over a wider operating temperature range, while maintaining full pin-for-pin compatibility with the REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series.
