The LTC3787 is a high performance PolyPhase? single output synchronous boost converter controller that drives two N-channel power MOSFET stages out-of-phase. Multiphase operation reduces input and output capacitor requirements and allows the use of smaller inductors than the single-phase equivalent. Synchronous rectification increases efficiency, reduces power losses and eases thermal requirements, enabling high power boost applications. A 4.5V to 38V input supply range encompasses a wide range of system architectures and battery chemistries. When biased from the output of the boost converter or another auxiliary supply, the LTC3787 can operate from an input supply as low as 2.5V after start-up. The operating frequency can be set for a 50kHz to 900kHz range or synchronized to an external clock using the internal PLL. PolyPhase operation allows the LTC3787 to be configured for 2-, 3-, 4-, 6- and 12-phase operation. The SS pin ramps the output voltage during start-up. The PLLIN/MODE pin selects Burst Mode? operation, pulse- skipping mode or forced continuous mode at light loads.Applications Industrial Automotive Medical Military?

The LTC3862-2 is a two-phase constant frequency, current mode boost and SEPIC controller that drives N-channel power MOSFETs. Two-phase operation reduces system filtering capacitance and inductance requirements.The operating frequency can be set with an external resistor over a 75kHz to 500kHz range and can be synchronized to an external clock using the internal PLL. Multiphase operation is possible using the SYNC input, the CLKOUT output and the PHASEMODE control pin allowing 2-, 3-, 4-, 6- or 12-phase operation.Other features include an internal 10V LDO with undervoltage lockout protection for the gate drivers, a precision RUN pin threshold with programmable hysteresis, soft-start and programmable leading edge blanking and maximum duty cycle. The LTM8054 is a 36VIN, buck-boost ?Module?(micromodule) regulator. Included in the package are theswitching controller, power switches, inductor and supportcomponents. Demonstration circuit 2044B is a 55V buck-boost multi-chemistry battery charger featuring the LTC4020. The board will accept an input voltage between 15V and 55V. The float voltage of the battery output (BAT) is 25.2V, with 3.3A maximum charge current. The converter output (VOUT) has a voltage range of 21V to 28V, with 3A maximum load current. The LTC4020 contains a high efficiency synchronous buck-boost DC/DC controller and uses a proprietary average current mode architecture.
The LTC4020 battery charger can provide a constant-current/constant-voltage charge algorithm (CC/CV); a four-step, three-stage lead-acid battery-charge profile or constant-current charging (CC). Battery-chemistry type is selected using on-board jumper JP1.

The LTC1799 is a precision oscillator that is easy to use and occupies very little PC board space. The oscillator frequency is programmed by a single external resistor (RSET). The LTC1799 has been designed for high accuracy operation (?1.5% frequency error) without the need for external trim components.The LTC1799 operates with a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and provides a rail-to-rail, 50% duty cycle square wave output. The CMOS output driver ensures fast rise/fall times and rail-to-rail switching.
