The AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 are, respectively, 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit, high speed, low power, 8-channel, successive approximation ADCs. The parts operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and feature throughput rates up to 1 MSPS. The parts contain a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CS and the serial clock signal, allowing the device to easily interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS and conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the part.The AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 use advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at maximum throughput rates. At maximum throughput rates, the AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 consume 2 mA maximum with 3 V supplies; with 5 V supplies, the current consumption is 2.7 mA maximum.Through the configuration of the control register, the analog input range for the part can be selected as 0 V to REFIN or 0 V to 2 × REFIN, with either straight binary or twos complement output coding. The AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 each feature eight single-ended analog inputs with a channel sequencer to allow a preprogrammed selection of channels to be converted sequentially.The conversion time for the AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 is determined by the SCLK frequency, which is also used as the master clock to control the conversion.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS High Throughput with Low Power Consumption. The AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 offer up to 1 MSPS throughput rates. At the maximum throughput rate with 3 V supplies, the AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 dissipate just 6 mW of power maximum. Eight Single-Ended Inputs with a Channel Sequencer. A sequence of channels can be selected, through which the ADC cycles and converts on. Single-Supply Operation with VDRIVE Function. The AD7908 / AD7918 / AD7928 operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply. The VDRIVE function allows the serial interface to connect directly to either 3 V or 5 V processor systems independent of AVDD. Flexible Power/Serial Clock Speed Management. The conversion rate is determined by the serial clock, allowing the conversion time to be reduced through the serial clock speed increase. The parts also feature various shutdown modes to maximize power efficiency at lower throughput rates. Current consumption is 0.5 μA max when in full shutdown. No Pipeline Delay. The parts feature a standard successive approximation ADC with accurate control of the sampling instant via a CS input and once off conversion control.

The AD8074 /AD8075 are high-speed triple video buffers with a G = +1 and +2 respectively. They operate on ±5V and have a -3dB full signal bandwidth in excess of 500MHz, along with slew rates in excess of 1350V/µs. With better than -80dB of all hostile crosstalk and 90dB isolation, they are useful in many high-speed applications. The differential gain and differential phase error are 0.01% and 0.01°. Gain Flatness of 0.1dB up to 70MHz make the AD8074/75 ideal for RGB buffering or driving. They consume less than 30mA on a ±5V supply voltage.  Both devices offer a high-speed disable feature that allows the outputs to be put into a high impedance state. This allows the building of larger input arrays while minimizing 'OFF' channel output loading. The AD8074/75 are offered in a 16 lead TSSOP package.

An equalized bandwidth of120 MHz can be achieved for 100 meters of cable.The AD8128 can be used as a standalone receiver/equalizer orin conjunction with the AD8143, triple differential receiver, toprovide a complete low cost solution for receiving RGB overUTP cable in such applications as KVM.The AD8128 has three control pins for optimal CAT-5/CAT-5ecompensation. The AD8132 is a low cost differential or single-ended input to differential output amplifier with resistor set gain. The AD8132 is a major advancement over op amps for driving differential input ADCs or for driving signals over long lines. The AD8132 has a unique internal feedback feature that provides output gain and phase matching balanced to −68 dB at 10 MHz, suppressing harmonics and reducing radiated EMI.Manufactured using the next-generation of Analog Devices, Inc., XFCB bipolar process, the AD8132 has a −3 dB bandwidth of 350 MHz and delivers a differential signal with −99 dBc SFDR at 5 MHz, despite its low cost. The AD8132 eliminates the need for a transformer with high performance ADCs, preserving the low frequency and dc information. The common-mode level of the differential output is adjustable by applying a voltage on the VOCM pin, easily level shifting the input signals for driving single-supply ADCs. Fast overload recovery preserves sampling accuracy.The AD8132 is also used as a differential driver for the trans-mission of high speed signals over low cost twisted pair or coaxial cables. The feedback network can be adjusted to boost the high frequency components of the signal. The AD8132 is used for either analog or digital video signals or for other high speed data trans-mission. The AD8132 is capable of driving either a Category 3 or Category 5 twisted pair or coaxial cable with minimal line attenuation. The AD8132 has considerable cost and performance improvements over discrete line driver solutions.Differential signal processing reduces the effects of ground noise that plagues ground-referenced systems.
