The HMC609LC4 is a GaAs PHEMT MMIC Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) which operates from 2 to 4 GHz. The HMC609LC4 features extremely flat performance characteristics including 20 dB of small signal gain, 3.5 dB of noise figure and output IP3 of +36.5 dBm across the operating band. This 50 Ohm matched amplifier does not require any external matching components. The HMC611LP4(E) Logarithmic Detector/Controller converts RF signals at its input, to a proportional DC voltage at its output. The HMC611LP4(E) employs a successive compression topology which delivers extremely high dynamic range and conversion accuracy over a wide input frequency range. As the input power is increased, successive amplifiers move into saturation one by one creating an accurate approximation of the logarithm function.The output of a series of square law detectors is summed, converted into voltage domain and buffered to drive the LOGOUT output. For detection mode, the LOGOUT pin is shorted to the VSET input, and will provide a nominal logarithmic slope of -25mV/dB and an intercept of 18 dBm (22 dBm for ƒ ≥ 5.8 GHz). The HMC865LC3 is a Limiting Amplifier packaged in a leadless 3x3 mm ceramic surface mount package which supports up to 43 Gbps operation. The amplifier provides 30 dB of differential gain. Output voltage swing is adjustable up to 800 mVP-P differential by using the VAC analog control input. Additive rms jitter is less than 300 fs for 32 Gbps operation. HMC865LC3 has an internal DC offset correction circuit which provides differential 10 mVP-P input sensitivity.All input/output RF signals of the HMC865LC3 are terminated with 50 Ohms to +3.3V on chip and may be either AC or DC coupled. The outputs of the device can be operated either differentially or single-ended. The HMC985A is an absorptive Voltage Variable Attenuator (VVA) which operates from 20 - 50 GHz and is ideal in designs where an analog DC control signal must be used to control RF signal levels over a 35 dB dynamic range. It features two shunt-type attenuators which are controlled by two analog voltages, Vctrl1 and Vctrl2. Optimum linearity performance of the attenuator is achieved by first varying Vctrl1 of the first attenuation stage from -5V to 0V with Vctrl2 fixed at -5V. The control voltage of the second attenuation stage, Vctrl2, should then be varied from -5V to 0V with Vctrl1 fixed at 0V.Furthermore, if the Vctrl1 and Vctrl2 pins are connected together it is possible to achieve the full analog attenuation range with only a small degradation in input IP3 performance. The MAX845 provides an isolated power supply small enough to fit in thin PCMCIA cards and space-sensitive applications. It drives a low-profile center-tapped transformer primary from a 5V or 3.3V DC power supply. The secondary can be wound to provide any isolated positive or negative voltage at powers up to 750mW.The MAX845 consists of an oscillator followed by a toggle flip-flop. The flip-flop generates two 50% duty-cycle square waves, which are complementary at half the oscillator frequency (450kHz, min). These two signals drive the ground-referenced N-channel power switches. Internal circuitry ensures break-before-make action between the two switches.A low-power shutdown disables both the switches and the oscillator, reducing power consumption. The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 are programmable digital gyroscopes that combine industry-leading MEMS and signal processing technology in a single compact package. They provide accuracy performance that would require full motion calibration with any other MEMS gyroscope in their class. When power is applied, the ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 automatically start up and begin sampling sensor data, without requiring configuration commands from a system processor. An addressable register structure and a common serial peripheral interface (SPI) provide simple access to sensor data and configuration settings. Many digital processor platforms support the SPI with simple firmware-level instructions.The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 provide several programmable features for in-system optimization. The ADL5902 is a true rms responding power detector that hasa 65 dB measurement range when driven with a single-ended 50 Ω source. This feature makes the ADL5902 frequencyversatile by eliminating the need for a balun or any other form of external input tuning for operation up to 9 GHz.The ADL5902 provides a solution in a variety of high frequencysystems requiring an accurate measurement of signal power. Requiring only a single supply of 5 V and a few capacitors, it is easy to use and capable of being driven single-ended or with abalun for differential input drive. The ADL5902 can operate from 50 MHz to 9 GHz and can accept inputs from −62 dBm to at least +3 dBm with large crest factors, such as GSM, CDMA,W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA, WiMAX, and LTE modulated signals.The ADL5902 can determine the true power of a high frequency signal having a complex low frequency modulation envelope or can be used as a simple low frequency rmsvoltmeter. Used as a power measurement device, VOUT isconnected to VSET. The output is then proportional to thelogarithm of the rms value of the input. In other words, thereading is presented directly in decibels and is scaled 1.06 V per decade, or 53 mV/dB; other slopes are easily arranged. In controller mode, the voltage applied to VSET determines thepower level required at the input to null the deviation from the set point. The output buffer can provide high load currents.The ADL5902 has 1.5 mW power consumption when powereddown by a logic high applied to the PWDN pin. It powers up within approximately 5 μs to its nominal operating current of 73 mA at 25°C. The ADL5902 is supplied in a 4 mm × 4 mm,16-lead LFCSP for operation over the wide temperature rangeof −40°C to +125°C.The ADL5902 is also pin-compatible with the AD8363, 50 dBdynamic range TruPwr™ detector. This feature allows the designer to create one circuit layout for projects requiring different dynamic ranges.
