The HMC219B is an ultraminiature, general-purpose, double balanced mixer in an 8-lead plastic surface mini small outline package with exposed pad (MINI_SO_EP). This passive monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) mixer is fabricated in a gallium arsenide (GaAs) metal semiconductor field effect transistor (MESFET) process and requires no external components or matching circuitry. The AD8556 is a zero-drift, sensor signal amplifier withdigitally programmable gain and output offset. Gain adjustment canbe fully simulated in-circuit and then permanently programmedwith reliable polyfuse technology. Output offsetvoltage is also digitally programmable and is ratiometric to thesupply voltage. AD8556 also features internal EMI filters on theVNEG, VPOS, FILT and VCLAMP pins.In addition to extremely low input offset voltage, low inputoffset voltage drift, and very high dc and ac CMRR, the AD8556 also includes a pull-up current source at the input pinsand a pull-down current source at the VCLAMP pin. Thisallows open wire and shorted wire fault detection. A low-passfilter function is implemented via a single low cost externalcapacitor. Output clamping set via an external reference voltageallows the AD8556 to drive lower voltage ADCs safely andaccurately.When used in conjunction with an ADC referenced to the samesupply, the system accuracy becomes immune to normal supplyvoltage variations. Output offset voltage can be adjusted with aresolution of better than 0.4% of the difference between VDDand VSS. The ADXL362 is an ultralow power, 3-axis MEMS accelerometer that consumes less than 2 ?A at a 100 Hz output data rate and 270 nA when in motion triggered wake-up mode. Unlike accelerometers that use power duty cycling to achieve low power consumption, the ADXL362 does not alias input signals by undersampling; it samples the full bandwidth of the sensor at all data rates.The ADXL362 always provides 12-bit output resolution; 8-bit formatted data is also provided for more efficient single-byte transfers when a lower resolution is sufficient. Measurement ranges of ?2 g, ?4 g, and ?8 g are available, with a resolution of 1 mg/LSB on the ?2 g range. For applications where a noise level lower than the normal 550 ?g/?Hz of the ADXL362 is desired, either of two lower noise modes (down to 175 ?g/?Hz typical) can be selected at minimal increase in supply current.In addition to its ultralow power consumption, the ADXL362 has many features to enable true system level power reduction. It includes a deep multimode output FIFO, a built-in micropower temperature sensor, and several activity detection modes including adjustable threshold sleep and wake-up operation that can run as low as 270 nA at a 6 Hz (approximate) measurement rate. A pin output is provided to directly control an external switch when activity is detected, if desired. The AD8312 is a complete, low cost subsystem for the measurement of RF signals in the frequency range of 50 MHz to 3.5 GHz. It has a typical dynamic range of 45 dB and is intended for use in a wide variety of cellular handsets and other wireless devices. It provides a wider dynamic range and better accuracy than possible using discrete diode detectors. In particular, its temperature stability is excellent over the full operating range of ?40?C to +85?C.Its high sensitivity allows measurement at low power levels, thus reducing the amount of power that needs to be coupled to the detector. It is essentially a voltage-responding device, with a typical signal range of 1.25 mV to 224 mV rms or ?45 dBm to 0 dBm, referencing 50 ?.For convenience, the signal is internally ac-coupled, using a 5 pF capacitor to a load of 3 k? in shunt with 1.3 pF. This high-pass coupling, with a corner at approximately 16 MHz, determines the lowest operating frequency. Therefore, the source may be dc grounded.The AD8312 output, VOUT, increases from close to ground to about 1.2 V because the input signal level increases from 1.25 mV to 224 mV. The ADM1278 is a hot swap controller that allows a circuit board to be removed from or inserted into a live backplane. It also features current, voltage, power, and temperature readback via an integrated 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), accessed using a PMBus? interface. The load current is measured using an internal current sense amplifier that measures the voltage across a sense resistor in the power path via the HS+ and HS? pins. A default current limit of 20 mV is set, but this limit can be adjusted, if required.The ADM1278 limits the current through the sense resistor by controlling the gate voltage of an external N-channel FET in the power path, via the GATE pin. The sense voltage, and therefore the load current, is maintained below the preset maximum. The ADM1278 protects the external FET by limiting the time that the FET remains on while the current is at its maximum value.This current-limit time is set by the choice of capacitor connected to the TIMER pin. In addition, a constant power foldback scheme is used to control the power dissipation in the MOSFET during power-up and fault conditions. The level of this power, along with the TIMER regulation time, can be set to ensure that the MOSFET remains within safe operating area (SOA) limits.In case of a short-circuit event, a fast internal overcurrent detector responds within 320 ns and signals the gate to shut down. A 1500 mA pull-down device ensures a fast FET response.The ADM1278 features overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) protection, programmed using external resistor dividers on the UV and OV pins.
