The ADF7021-N is a high performance, low power, narrow-band transceiver based on the ADF7021. The ADF7021-N has IF filter bandwidths of 9 kHz, 13.5 kHz, and 18.5 kHz, making it ideally suited to worldwide narrowband standards and particularly those that stipulate 12.5 kHz channel separation. It is designed to operate in the narrow-band, license-free ISM bands and in the licensed bands with frequency ranges of 80 MHz to 650 MHz and 842 MHz to 916 MHz. The part has both Gaussian and raised cosine transmit data filtering options to improve spectral efficiency for narrow-band applications. It is suitable for circuit applications targeted at the Japanese ARIB STD-T67, the European ETSI EN 300 220, the Korean short range device regulations, the Chinese short range device regulations, and the North American FCC Part 15, Part 90, and Part 95 regulatory standards. A complete transceiver can be built using a small number of external discrete components, making the ADF7021-N very suitable for price-sensitive and area-sensitive applications. The range of on-chip FSK modulation and data filtering options allows users greater flexibility in their choice of modulation schemes while meeting the tight spectral efficiency requirements. The ADF7021-N also supports protocols that dynamically switch among 2FSK, 3FSK, and 4FSK to maximize communica-tion range and data throughput. The transmit section contains two voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) and a low noise fractional-N PLL with an output resolution of The frequency-agile PLL allows the ADF7021-N to be used in frequency-hopping, spread spectrum (FHSS) systems. Both VCOs operate at twice the fundamental frequency to reduce spurious emissions and frequency pulling problems. The transmitter output power is programmable in 63 steps from ?16 dBm to +13 dBm and has an automatic power ramp control to prevent spectral splatter and help meet regulatory standards. The transceiver RF frequency, channel spacing, and modulation are programmable using a simple 3-wire interface. The device operates with a power supply range of 2.3 V to 3.6 V and can be powered down when not in use. A low IF architecture is used in the receiver (100 kHz), which minimizes power consumption and the external component count yet avoids dc offset and flicker noise at low frequencies. The IF filter has programmable bandwidths of 9 kHz, 13.5 kHz, and 18.5 kHz. The ADF7021-N supports a wide variety of pro-grammable features including Rx linearity, sensitivity, and IF bandwidth, allowing the user to trade off receiver sensitivity and selectivity against current consumption, depending on the application. The receiver also features a patent-pending automatic frequency control (AFC) loop with programmable pull-in range that allows the PLL to track out the frequency error in the incoming signal. The receiver achieves an image rejection performance of 56 dB using a patent-pending IR calibration scheme that does not require the use of an external RF source. An on-chip ADC provides readback of the integrated tempera-ture sensor, external analog input, battery voltage, and RSSI signal, which provides savings on an ADC in some applications. The temperature sensor is accurate to ?10?C over the full oper-ating temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C. This accuracy can be improved by performing a 1-point calibration at room temperature and storing the result in memory.

The ADG4612 & ADG4613?contain four independent single-pole/single-throw (SPST) switches. The ADG4612 switches areturned on with Logic 1 on the appropriate control input. TheADG4613 has two switches with digital control logic similar tothat of the ADG4612; the logic is inverted on the other twoswitches. Each switch conducts equally well in both directionswhen on and has an input signal range that extends to thesupplies. The ADG4613 exhibits break-before-make switchingaction for use in multiplexer applications. When no power supplies are present the switch remains in theOFF condition and the switch inputs are high impedanceinputs. This ensures that no current flows that may damage theswitch. This is very useful in application where analog signalsmay be present at the switch inputs before power or where theuser has no control over the Power Supply Sequence. In the off condition, signal levels up to 16V are blocked. Also, ifthe analog input signal levels exceed VDD by VT then the switchwill turn off.The ultralow on resistance of these switches make them idealsolutions for data acquisition and gain switching applicationswhere low on resistance and distortion is critical. The ADG5248F and ADG5249F are 8:1 and dual 4:1 analog multiplexers. The ADG5248F switches one of eight inputs to a common output and the ADG5249F switches one of four differential inputs to a common differential output. Each channel conducts equally well in both directions when on, and each channel has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. The primary supply voltages define the on-resistance profile, whereas the secondary supply voltages define the voltage level at which the overvoltage protection engages. When no power supplies are present, the channel remains in the off condition, and the switch inputs are high impedance. Under normal operating conditions, if the analog input signal levels on any Sx pin exceed positive fault voltage (POSFV) or negative fault voltage (NEGFV) by a threshold voltage (VT), the channel turns off and that Sx pin becomes high impedance. If the switch is selected to be on, then the drain pin is pulled to the secondary supply voltage that was exceeded. Input signal levels up to +55 V or ?55 V relative to ground are blocked, in both the powered and unpowered condition. The low capacitance and charge injection of these switches make them ideal solutions for data acquisition and sample-and-hold applications, where low glitch switching and fast settling times are required.?Note that, throughout this data sheet, multifunction pins, such as A0/F2, are referred to either by the entire pin name or by a single function of the pin, for example, A0, when only that function is relevant.?Product Highlights Source pins are protected against voltages greater than the secondary supply rails, up to ?55 V and +55 V. Source pins are protected against voltages between ?55 V and +55 V in an unpowered state. Overvoltage detection with digital output indicates operating state of switches. Trench isolation guards against latch-up. Optimized for low charge injection and on-capacitance. The ADGS1212 contains four independent single-pole/single-throw(SPST) switches. A serial peripheral interface (SPI)controls the switches. The SPI interface has robust error detectionfeatures such as cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error detection, invalid read/write address detection, and SCLK count errordetection. It is possible to daisy-chain multiple ADGS1212 devices together.Daisy-chain mode enables the configuration of multiple deviceswith minimal digital lines. The ADGS1212 can also operate inburst mode to decrease the time between SPI commands.iCMOS construction ensures ultralow power dissipation, makingthe device ideal for portable and battery-powered instruments. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on,and each switch has an input signal range that extends to thesupplies. In the off condition, signal levels up to the supplies are blocked. The ultralow capacitance and charge injection of these switchesmake them ideal solutions for data acquisition and sample-andholdapplications where low glitch and fast settling are required.Fast switching speed coupled with high signal bandwidth makethe device suitable for video signal switching.Multifunction pin names may be referenced by their relevantfunction only.Product Highlights SPI interface removes the need for parallel conversion, logic traces, and reduces the general-purpose input/output (GPIO) channel count. Daisy-chain mode removes additional logic traces when multiple devices are used. CRC error detection, invalid read/write address detection, and SCLK count error detection ensure a robust digital interface. CRC and error detection capabilities allow the ADGS1212 to be used in safety critical systems. Guaranteed break-before-make switching allows the the ADGS1212 to be used in multiplexer configurations with external wiring. The ADGS1212 1.8 V logic compatibility with 2.7 V ?
