EV-ADUM7702-8FMCZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADuM7702 is a high performance, second-order, ?-? modulator that converts an analog input signal to a high speed, single-bit data stream, with on-chip digital isolation based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology. The device operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V power supply range (VDD1) and accepts a pseudo differential input signal of ?50 mV (?64 mV full-scale). The pseudo differential input is ideally suited to shunt voltage monitoring in high voltage applications where galvanic isolation is required. The analog input is continuously sampled by a high performance analog modulator and converted to a ones density digital output stream with a data rate of up to 21 MHz. The original information can be reconstructed with an appropriate sinc3 digital filter to achieve an 82 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at 78.1 kSPS with a 256 decimation rate and a 20 MHz master clock. The serial input and output operates from a 5 V or a 3 V supply (VDD2).The serial interface is digitally isolated. High speed complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology, combined with monolithic transformer technology, results in on-chip isolation providing outstanding performance characteristics, superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices. The ADuM7702 is available in both a 16-lead SOIC_W and an 8-lead SOIC_IC and has an operating temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C.Applications Shunt current monitoring AC motor controls Power and solar inverters Wind turbine inverters Analog-to-digital and optoisolator replacement

The AD5522 is a high performance, highly integrated parametric measurement unit consisting of four independent channels. Each per-pin parametric measurement unit (PPMU) channel includes five 16-bit, voltage output DACs that set the programmable input levels for the force voltage inputs, clamp inputs, and comparator inputs (high and low). Five programmable force and measure current ranges are available, ranging from ?5 ?A to ?80 mA. Four of these ranges use on-chip sense resistors; one high current range up to ?80 mA is available per channel using off-chip sense resistors. Currents in excess of ?80 mA require an external amplifier. Low capacitance DUT connections (FOH and EXTFOH) ensure that the device is suited to relayless test systems. The PMU functions are controlled via a simple 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI?, MICROWIRE?, and DSP interface standards. Interface clocks of 50 MHz allow fast updating of modes. The low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) interface protocol at 83 MHz is also supported. Comparator outputs are provided per channel for device go-no-go testing and characterization. Control registers allow the user to easily change force or measure conditions, DAC levels, and selected current ranges. The SDO (serial data output) pin allows the user to read back information for diagnostic purposes. The AD7762 is a high performance, 24-bit ?-? analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It combines wide input bandwidth and high speed with the benefits of ?-? conversion with a performance of 106 dB SNR at 625 kSPS, making it ideal for high speed data acquisition. Wide dynamic range combined with significantly reduced anti-aliasing requirements simplify the design process. An integrated buffer to drive the reference, a differential amplifier for signal buffering and level shifting, an overrange flag, internal gain and offset registers, and a low-pass digital FIR filter make the AD7762 a compact, highly integrated data acquisition device requiring minimal peripheral component selection. In addition, the device offers programmable decimation rates, and the digital FIR filter can be adjusted if the default characteristics are not appropriate to the application. The AD7762 is ideal for applications demanding high SNR without a complex front end signal processing design. The differential input is sampled at up to 40 MSPS by an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by a series of low-pass filters, the final filter having default or user-programmable coefficients. The sample rate, filter corner frequencies, and output word rate are set by a combination of the external clock frequency and the configuration registers of the AD7762.The reference voltage supplied to the AD7762 determines the analog input range. With a 4 V reference, the analog input range is ?3.2 V differential biased around a common mode of 2 V. This common mode biasing can be achieved using the on-chip differential amplifier, further reducing the external signal conditioning requirements. The AD7762 is available in an exposed paddle, 64-lead TQFP and is specified over the industrial temperature range from ?40?C to +85?C.APPLICATIONS Data acquisition systems Vibration analysis Instrumentation

The ADAU1452 /?ADAU1451?/?ADAU1450 are automotive qualified audio processors that far exceed the digital signal processing capabilities of earlier SigmaDSP? devices. The restructured hardware architecture is optimized for efficient audio processing. The audio processing algorithms are realized in sample-by-sample and block-by-block paradigms that can both be executed simultaneously in a signal processing flow created using the graphical programming tool, SigmaStudio?. The restructured digital signal processor (DSP) core architecture enables some types of audio processing algorithms to be executed using significantly fewer instructions than were required on previous SigmaDSP generations, leading to vastly improved code efficiency. The 1.2 V, 32-bit DSP core can run at frequencies of up to 294.912 MHz and execute up to 6144 instructions per sample at the standard sample rate of 48 kHz. However, in addition to industry-standard rates, a wide range of sample rates are available. The integer PLL and flexible clock generator hardware can generate up to 15 audio sample rates simultaneously. These clock generators, along with the on-board asynchronous sample rate converters (ASRCs) and a flexible hardware audio routing matrix, make the ADAU1452 / ADAU1451 / ADAU1450 ideal audio hubs that greatly simplify the design of complex multirate audio systems. The ADAU1452 / ADAU1451 / ADAU1450 interface with a wide range of analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), digital audio devices, amplifiers, and control circuitry, due to their highly configurable serial ports, S/PDIF interfaces (on the ADAU1452 and ADAU1451), and multipurpose input/output pins. The devices can also directly interface with pulse density modulation (PDM) output microelectromechanical (MEMS) microphones, due to integrated decimation filters specifically designed for that purpose.Independent slave and master I2C/serial peripheral interface (SPI) control ports allow the ADAU1452 / ADAU1451 / ADAU1450 not only to be programmed and configured by an external master device, but also to act as masters that can program and configure external slave devices directly. This flexibility, combined with self boot functionality, enables the design of standalone systems that do not require any external input to operate. The power efficient DSP core executes full programs, consumes only a few hundred milliwatts (mW) of power, and can run at a maximum program load while consuming less than a watt, even in worst case temperatures exceeding 100?C. This relatively low power consumption and small footprint make the ADAU1452 / ADAU1451 / ADAU1450 ideal replacements for large, general-purpose DSPs that consume more power at the same processing load.Differences between the ADAU1452, ADAU1451, and ADAU1450The five variants of this device are differentiated by memory, DSP core frequency, availability of S/PDIF interfaces, ASRC configuration, and temperature range.Because the ADAU1450 does not contain an S/PDIF receiver or transmitter, the SPDIFIN and SPDIFOUT pins are nonfunctional. Additionally, the settings of any registers related to the S/PDIF input or output in the ADAU1450 do not have any effect on the operation of the device.Because the ADAU1450 does not contain ASRCs, the settings of any registers related to the ASRCs in the ADAU1450 do not have any effect on the operation of the device.APPLICATIONS Automotive audio processing Head units Navigation systems Rear seat entertainment systems DSP amplifiers (sound system amplifiers) Commercial and professional audio processing Consumer audio processing
