The AD5233 is a quad-channel nonvolatile memory,1 digitally controlled potentiometer2 with a 64-step resolution. The device performs the same electronic adjustment function as a mechanical potentiometer with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and remote controllability. The AD5233 has versatile programming using a serial peripheral interface (SPI) for 16 modes of operation and adjustment, including scratchpad programming, memory storing and restoring, increment/decrement, ?6 dB/step log taper adjustment, wiper setting readback, and extra EEMEM for user-defined information such as memory data for other components, look-up tables, or system identification information.In the scratchpad programming mode, a specific setting can be programmed directly to the RDAC register, which sets the resistance between Terminal W to Terminal A and Terminal W to Terminal B. This setting can be stored into the EEMEM and is transferred automatically to the RDAC register during system power-on.The EEMEM content can be restored dynamically or through external PR strobing. A WP function protects EEMEM contents. To simplify the programming, independent or simultaneous increment or decrement commands can be used to move the RDAC wiper up or down, one step at a time. For logarithmic ?6 dB step changes in wiper settings, the left or right bit shift command can be used to double or halve the RDAC wiper setting.The AD5233 is available in a thin 24-lead TSSOP package. The ADAR4002 is a very low power broadband bi-directional single channel true time delay unit (TDU) and a digital step attenuator (DSA). The IC has 18.5 GHz of bandwidth over a frequency range of 0.5 GHz to 19 GHz with 50 ? input impedance at both RF ports. The TDU has two programmable maximum time delays, each with 7-bit control: Range 0 has a maximum delay of 508ps with a resolution of 4ps. This range is used at lower frequencies and where the ADAR4002 has less loss. Range 1 has a maximum delay of 254ps and a resolution of 2ps. This range has less loss compared to Range 0 and is useful at higher frequencies. The DSA has 6-bit resolution with an attenuation range of 0 dB to 31.5 dB and a step size of 0.5 dB. The ADF7030-1 is ideally suited for applications that require long range, network robustness, and long battery life. It is suitable for applications that operate in the ISM, SRD, and licensed frequency bands at 169.4 MHz to 169.6 MHz, 426 MHz to 470 MHz, and 863 MHz to 960 MHz. It provides extensive support for standards-based protocols like IEEE802.15.4g while also providing flexibility to support a wide range of proprietary protocols.The highly configurable low intermediate frequency (IF) receiver supports a large range of receiver channel bandwidths from 2.6 kHz to 406 kHz. This range of receiver channel bandwidths allows the ADF7030-1 to support ultranarrow-band, narrow-band, and wideband channel spacing.The ADF7030-1 features two independent PAs supporting output power ranges of ?20 dBm to +13 dBm and ?20 dBm to +17 dBm.
