Demonstration circuit 1516A is a 1.5V/15A synchronous buck converter operating with a switching frequency of 300kHz over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 24V. The demo board comes in two versions. The -A version uses inductor DCR current sensing with an iron powder inductor for highest efficiency. The -B version uses a 2.5mΩ/1% sense resistor for accurate current sensing with a low DCR ferrite inductor. The fixed on-time valley current mode control of the LTC3833 allows for a fast load step response.

The AD6688-3000EBZ supports the AD6688-3000, a 14-bit, 3GSPS dual analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The device has an on-chip buffer and a sample-and-hold circuit designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. This device is designed support direct RF sampling analog signals of up to 5 GHz. The 3 dB bandwidth of the ADC input is greater than 9 GHz. The AD6688 is optimized for wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity, and low power in a small package. This reference design provides all of the support circuitry required to operate the ADC in its various modes and configurations. It is designed to interface directly with the ADS7-V2EBZ data capture card, allowing users to download captured data for analysis. The device control and subsequent data analyses can now be done using the ACE software package.

The ADGS1208/ADGS1209 are analog multiplexers comprisingeight single channels and four differential channels, respectively. Aserial peripheral interface (SPI) controls the switches. The SPIinterface has robust error detection features, such as cyclicredundancy check (CRC) error detection, invalid read/writeaddress detection, and SCLK count error detection.It is possible to daisy-chain multiple ADGS1208/ADGS1209devices together. Daisy-chain mode enables the configuration ofmultiple devices with a minimal amount of digital lines. LTC6813-1 Demo Board | 18-Channel Battery-Stack Monitor with Daisy-Chain Interface

Demonstration circuit 2350B features the LTC6813-1, 18-channel battery-stack monitor. Multiple boards can be linked through a 2-wire isolated serial interface (isoSPI™) to monitor a long series of cells in a stack. The DC2350B demo board also features reversible isoSPI enabling a redundant communication path. The PCB, components, and DuraClik connectors are optimized for low EMI susceptibility and emissions. The DC2350B can communicate to a PC by connecting a DC2792B dual master isoSPI together with DC2026C Linduino® One. The DC2026 must be loaded with the appropriate program (called a sketch) to control the battery-stack monitor IC and receive data through a USB serial port. The DC2026 provides a standard SPI interface which can be translated to isoSPI and then connected to a DC2350B isoSPI port (J4 or J5 connector). The DC2792B companion board provides two SPI-isoSPI channels for reversible operation.

The AD8280 is a hardware-only safety monitor for lithium ionbattery stacks. The device has inputs to monitor six battery cellsand two temperature sensors (either NTC or PTC thermistors).The device is designed to be daisy-chained with additional AD8280devices to monitor a stack of significantly more than six cellswithout the need for numerous isolators. The output can beconfigured for an independent or shared alarm state.The AD8280 functions independently from a primarymonitor and contains a reference and LDO, both of which arepowered completely from the battery cell stack. The ADM2861E, ADM2863E, ADM2865E, and ADM2867E are 5.7 kV rms signal and power isolated RS-485 transceivers. These devices are designed for balanced transmission lines and comply with ANSI/TIA/EIA-485-A-98 and ISO 8482:1987(E). The devices pass radiated emissions testing to the EN 55032 Class B standard with margin on a 2-layer printed circuit board (PCB) using two small external 0402 ferrites on isolated power and ground pins. The device features an integrated, low electromagnetic interference (EMI), isolated dc-to-dc converter, which eliminates the need for an external isolated power supply. The isolation barrier provides immunity to system level electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards. The family of isolator devices features ?12 kV contact and ?15 kV air IEC61000-4-2 ESD protection on the RS-485 A, B, Y, and Z pins. The devices also features cable invert pins, allowing the user to quickly correct reversed cable connection on the A, B, Y, and Z bus pins while maintaining full receiver fail-safe performance.Slew rate limited versions are available, which are optimized for low speed over long cable runs, and have a maximum data rate of 500 kbps. It requires the same board area as a typical single instrumentation amplifier yet doubles the channel density and offers a lower cost per channel without compromising performance.Designed to meet the needs of high performance, portable instrumentation, the AD8224 has a minimum common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 86 dB at dc and a minimum CMRR of 80 dB at 10 kHz for G = 1. Maximum input bias current is 10 pA and typically remains below 300 pA over the entire industrial temperature range. Despite the JFET inputs, the AD8224 typically has a noise corner of only 10 Hz.With the proliferation of mixed-signal processing, the number of power supplies required in each system has grown.Designed to alleviate this problem, the AD8224 can operate on a ?18 V dual supply, as well as on a single +5 V supply. The device?s rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5 V supply eliminates the need for higher voltage, dual supplies. The AD8224 draws 750 ?A of quiescent current per amplifier, making it ideal for battery powered devices.In addition, the AD8224 can be configured as a single-channel, differential output, instrumentation amplifier. Differential outputs provide high noise immunity, which can be useful when the output signal must travel through a noisy environment, such as with remote sensors.
