Demonstration circuit 803 is a 2-phase dual synchronous high efficiency step-down DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3736EUF-1 controller.The "-1" version features pulse-skipping (in place of Burst Mode operation) at light loads and optional spread spectrum frequency modulation, and has a tighter voltage reference accuracy over temperature when compared with the LTC3736 "plain" version. The demo board operates with a 2.75V to 8V input voltage range and provides outputs of 2.5V @ 5A and 1.8V @ 5A.

The AD8310 is a complete, dc to 440 MHz demodulating logarithmic amplifier (log amp) with a very fast voltage mode output, capable of driving up to 25 mA into a grounded load in under 15 ns. It uses the progressive compression (successive detection) technique to provide a dynamic range of up to 95 dB to ?3 dB law conformance or 90 dB to a ?1 dB error bound up to 100 MHz. It is extremely stable and easy to use, requiring no significant external components. A single-supply voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V at 8 mA is needed, corresponding to a power consumption of only 24 mW at 3 V. The LTC2636 is a family of octal 12-, 10-, and 8-bit voltage-output DACs with an integrated, high-accuracy, low-drift 10ppm/?C reference in 14-lead DFN and 16-lead MSOP packages. The LTC1643A is a Hot Swap? controller that allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live PCI-Bus slot. Two external N-channel transistors control the 3.3V and 5V supplies while on-chip switches control the ?12V and 12V supplies. All supply voltages can be ramped up at a programmable rate. An electronic circuit breaker protects all four supplies against overcurrent faults. The foldback current limit feature limits current spikes and power dissipation when shorts occur and allows boards with large capacitances to be powered up without tripping the circuit breaker. The PWRGD output indicates when all of the supply voltages are within tolerance and the FAULT output indicates an overcurrent condition. The ON(LTC1643AH)/ON (LTC1643AL/ LTC1643AL-1) pin is used to cycle the board power or reset the circuit breaker.
