Demonstration circuit SCP-ADP150-EVALZ features the ADP150, an ultralow noise (9μV), low dropout, linear regulator that operates from 2.2V to 5.5V and provides up to 150mA of output current. ADP150AUJZ-3.3-R7 fixed volt-age IC is installed on this board. Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. The SSM2315 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, Class-D audioamplifier. It is designed to maximize performance for mobilephone applications. The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 3 W of continuous output powerwith 103 dB.Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used to providelower EMI-radiated emissions compared with other Class-Darchitectures.The SSM2315 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typicalshutdown current of 20 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga logic low to the SD pin.The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry.This suppression circuitry minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.The fully differential input of the SSM2315 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The default gain of the SSM2315 is 6 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors.The SSM2315 is specified over the industrial temperature range of?40?C to +85?C. The ADCMP606 and ADCMP607 are very fast comparatorsfabricated on XFCB2, an Analog Devices, Inc., proprietaryprocess. These comparators are exceptionally versatile and easyto use. Features include an input range from VEE ? 0.5 V toVCCI + 0.2 V, low noise, CML-compatible output drivers, andTTL-/CMOS-compatible latch inputs with adjustable hysteresisand/or shutdown inputs.The devices offer 1.25 ns propagation delay with 2.5 ps rmsrandom jitter (RJ). Overdrive and slew rate dispersion aretypically less than 50 ps.A flexible power supply scheme allows the devices to operatewith a single +2.5 V positive supply and a ?0.5 V to +2.7 Vinput signal range up to a +5.5 V positive supply with a ?0.5 Vto +5.7 V input signal range. The ADuM3220/ADuM32211 are isolated, 4A dual-channel gate drivers based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler?technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstandingperformance characteristics superior to the alternatives, such as the combination of pulse transformers and gate drivers.The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 provide digital isolation in two independent isolation channels. They have a maximum propagationdelay of 60 ns and 5 ns channel-to-channel matching. In comparison to gate drivers that employ high voltage level translationmethodologies, the ADuM3220/ADuM3221 offer the benefit of true, galvanic isolation between the input and each output,enabling voltage translation across the isolation barrier. The ADuM3220 has shoot-through protection logic, which preventsboth outputs from being on at the same time, whereas the ADuM3221 allows both outputs to be on at the same time. Both partsoffer a default output low characteristic as required for gate drive applications.The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 operate with an input supply voltage ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lowervoltage systems. The outputs of the ADuM3220A/ADuM3221A can be operated at supply voltages from 4.5 V to 18 V.
