AD8220WARMZ-RL
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8220 is the first single-supply, JFET input instrumentation amplifier available in an MSOP package. Designed to meet the needs of high performance, portable instrumentation, the AD8220 has a minimum common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 86 dB at dc and a minimum CMRR of 80 dB at 5 kHz for G = 1. Maximum input bias current is 10 pA and typically remains below 300 pA over the entire industrial temperature range. Despite the JFET inputs, the AD8220 typically has a noise corner of only 10 Hz.With the proliferation of mixed-signal processing, the number of power supplies required in each system has grown. The AD8220 is designed to alleviate this problem. The AD8220 can operate on a ±18 V dual supply, as well as on a single +5 V supply. Its rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5 V supply eliminates the need to use higher voltage, dual supplies. The AD8220 draws a maximum of 750 μA of quiescent current, making it ideal for battery powered devices.Gain is set from 1 to 1000 with a single resistor. Increasing the gain increases the common-mode rejection. Measurements that need higher CMRR when reading small signals benefit when the AD8220 is set for large gains.A reference pin allows the user to offset the output voltage. This feature is useful when interfacing with analog-to-digital converters. The AD8220 is available in an MSOP that takes roughly half the board area of an SOIC. Performance for the A and B grade is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C, and the W grade is specified over the automotive temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.Applications Medical instrumentation Precision data acquisition Transducer interfaces

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8251 is an instrumentation amplifier with digitally programmable gains that has GΩ input impedance, low output noise, and low distortion, making it suitable for interfacing with sensors and driving high sample rate analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). It has high bandwidth of 10 MHz, low THD of −110 dB, and fast settling time of 785 ns (maximum) to 0.001%. Offset drift and gain drift are guaranteed to 1.8 μV/°C and 10 ppm/°C, respectively, for G = 8. In addition to its wide input common voltage range, it boasts a high common-mode rejection of 80 dB at G = 1 from dc to 50 kHz. The combination of precision dc performance coupled with high speed capabilities makes the AD8251 an excellent candidate for data acquisition. Furthermore, this monolithic solution simplifies design and manufacturing and boosts performance of instrumentation by maintaining a tight match of internal resistors and amplifiers. The AD8251 user interface consists of a parallel port that allows users to set the gain in one of two different ways (see Figure 1 in data sheet for the functional block diagram). A 2-bit word sent via a bus can be latched using the WR input. An alternative is to use transparent gain mode where the state of logic levels at the gain port determines the gain. The AD8251 is available in a 10-lead MSOP package and is specified over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range, making it an excellent solution for applications where size and packing density are important considerations. AD8675ARMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8675 precision operational amplifier has ultralow offset, drift, and voltage noise combined with very low input bias currents over the full operating temperature range. The AD8675 is a precision, wide bandwidth op amp featuring rail-to-rail output swings and very low noise. Operation is fully specified from ±5 V to ±15 V.The AD8675 features a rail-to-rail output like that of the OP184, but with wide bandwidth and even lower voltage noise, com-bined with the precision and low power consumption like that of the industry-standard OP07 amplifier. Unlike other low noise, rail-to-rail op amps, the AD8675 has very low input bias current and low input current noise. With typical offset voltage of only 10 μV, offset drift of 0.2 μV/°C, and noise of only 0.10 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the AD8675 is perfectly suited for applications where large error sources cannot be tolerated. For applications with even lower offset tolerances, the proprietary nulling capability allows a combination of both device and system offset errors up to 3.5 mV (referred to the input) to be compensated externally. Unlike previous circuits, the AD8675 accommodates this adjustment without adversely affecting the offset drift, CMRR, and PSRR of the amplifier. Precision instrumentation, PLL, and other precision filter circuits, position and pressure sensors, medical instrumentation, and strain gage amplifiers benefit greatly from the very low noise, low input bias current, and wide bandwidth. Many systems can take advantage of the low noise, dc precision, and rail-to-rail output swing provided by the AD8675 to maximize SNR and dynamic range. The smaller packages and low power consumption afforded by the AD8675 allow maximum channel density or minimum board size for space-critical equipment. The AD8675 is specified for the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The AD8675 amplifier is available in the tiny 8-lead MSOP, and the popular 8-lead, narrow SOIC, RoHS compliant packages. The AD5337 / AD5338 / AD5339 are dual 8-, 10-, and 12-bit buffered voltage output DACs, respectively. Each part is housed in an 8-lead MSOP package and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, consuming 250 μA at 3 V. On-chip output amplifiers allow rail-to-rail output swing with a slew rate of 0.7 V/μs. A 2-wire serial interface operates at clock rates up to 400 kHz. This interface is SMBus compatible at VDD < 3.6 V. Multiple devices can be placed on the same bus.The references for the two DACs are derived from one reference pin. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The parts incorporate a power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC outputs power up to 0 V and remain there until a valid write to the device takes place. A software clear function resets all input and DAC registers to 0 V. A power-down feature reduces the current consumption of the devices to 200 nA @ 5 V (80 nA @ 3 V).The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The power consumption is typically 1.5 mW at 5 V and 0.75 mW at 3 V, reducing to 1 μW in power-down mode.APPLICATIONS Portable battery-powered instruments Digital gain and offset adjustment Programmable voltage and current sources Programmable attenuators Industrial process control

AD8421ARMZ-RL
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8421 is a low cost, low power, extremely low noise, ultralow bias current, high speed instrumentation amplifier that is ideally suited for a broad spectrum of signal conditioning and data acquisition applications. This product features extremely high CMRR, allowing it to extract low level signals in the presence of high frequency common-mode noise over a wide temperature range. The 10 MHz bandwidth, 35 V/µs slew rate, and 0.6 µs settling time to 0.001% (G = 10) allow the AD8421 to amplify high speed signals and excel in applications that require high channel count, multiplexed systems. Even at higher gains, the current feedback architecture maintains high performance; for example, at G = 100, the bandwidth is 2 MHz and the settling time is 0.8 µs. The AD8421 has excellent distortion performance, making it suitable for use in demanding applications such as vibration analysis. The AD8421 delivers industry-leading 3 nV/√Hz input voltage noise and 200 fA/√Hz current noise with only 2 mA quiescent current, making it an ideal choice for measuring low level signals. For applications with high source impedance, the AD8421 employs innovative process technology and design techniques to provide noise performance that is limited only by the sensor. The AD8421 uses unique protection methods to ensure robust inputs while still maintaining very low noise. This protection allows input voltages up to 40 V from the opposite supply rail without damage to the part. A single resistor sets gains between 1 and 10,000. The reference pin can be used to apply a precise offset to the output voltage. The AD8421 performance is specified from −40°C to +85°C for the 8-lead MSOP and SOIC packages, and from −40°C to 125°C for the 8-lead LFCSP package.Applications Medical instrumentation Precision data acquisition Microphone preamplification Vibration analysis Multiplexed input applications ADC driver
