ADP1715ARMZ-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP1715 / ADP1716 are low dropout, CMOS linear regulators that operate from 2.5 V to 5.5 V and provide up to 500 mA of output current. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, they provide high power supply rejection and achieve excellent line and load transient response with just a small 2.2 μF ceramic output capacitor.Three versions of this part are available, one with fixed output voltage options and variable soft start (ADP1715), one with adjustable output voltage and fixed soft start (ADP1715 Adjustable), and one with voltage tracking in fixed output voltage options (ADP1716). The fixed output voltage options are internally set to one of sixteen values between 0.75 V and 3.3 V; the adjustable output voltage can be set to any value between 0.8 V and 5.0 V by an external voltage divider connected from OUT to ADJ. The variable soft start uses an external capacitor at SS to control the output voltage ramp. Tracking limits the output voltage to the at-or-below voltage at the TRK pin.The ADP1715 / ADP1716 are available in 8-lead thermally enhanced MSOP packages, making them not only a very compact solution but also providing excellent thermal performance for applications requiring up to 500 mA of output current in a small, low profile footprint.APPLICATIONS Notebook computers Memory components Telecommunications equipment Network Equipment DSP/FPGA/µP supplies Instrumentation equipment/data acquisition systems

AD8223ARMZ-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8223 is an integrated single-supply instrumentationamplifier that delivers rail-to-rail output swing on a singlesupply (3 V to 24 V). The AD8223 conforms to the 8-leadindustry standard pinout configurationThe AD8223 is simple to use: one resistor sets the gain. With no external resistor, the AD8223 is configured for G = 5 and with an external resistor, the AD8223 can be programmed for gains up to 1000.The AD8223 has a wide input common-mode range and canamplify signals that have a 150 mV common-mode voltagebelow ground. Although the design of the AD8223 is optimizedto operate from a single supply, the AD8223 still providesexcellent performance when operated from a dual voltagesupply (±2 V to ±12 V).Low power consumption (1.5 mW at 3 V), wide supply voltagerange, and rail-to-rail output swing make the AD8223 ideal forbattery-powered applications. The rail-to-rail output stagemaximizes the dynamic range when operating from low supplyvoltages. The AD8223 replaces discrete instrumentationamplifier designs and offers superior linearity, temperaturestability, and reliability in a minimum of space.ApplicationsLow power medical instrumentation Transducer interface Thermocouple amplifiers Industrial process controls Difference amplifiers Low power data acquisition

AD8236ARMZ-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8236 is the lowest power instrumentation amplifier in the industry. It has rail-to-rail outputs and can operate on voltages as low as 1.8 V. Its 40 μA maximum supply current makes it an excellent choice in battery-powered applications. The AD8236’s high input impedance, low input bias current of 1 pA, high CMRR of 110 dB (G = 100), small size, and low power offer tremendous value. It has a wider common-mode voltage range than typical three-op-amp instrumentation amplifiers, making this a great solution for applications that operate on a single 1.8 V or 3 V supply. An innovative input stage allows for a wide rail-to-rail input voltage range without the crossover distortion common in other designs. The AD8236 is available in an 8-lead MSOP and is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°CApplicationsMedical instrumentationLow-side current sensePortable devices

AD5338ARMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5337 / AD5338 / AD5339 are dual 8-, 10-, and 12-bit buffered voltage output DACs, respectively. Each part is housed in an 8-lead MSOP package and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, consuming 250 μA at 3 V. On-chip output amplifiers allow rail-to-rail output swing with a slew rate of 0.7 V/μs. A 2-wire serial interface operates at clock rates up to 400 kHz. This interface is SMBus compatible at VDD < 3.6 V. Multiple devices can be placed on the same bus.The references for the two DACs are derived from one reference pin. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The parts incorporate a power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC outputs power up to 0 V and remain there until a valid write to the device takes place. A software clear function resets all input and DAC registers to 0 V. A power-down feature reduces the current consumption of the devices to 200 nA @ 5 V (80 nA @ 3 V).The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The power consumption is typically 1.5 mW at 5 V and 0.75 mW at 3 V, reducing to 1 μW in power-down mode.APPLICATIONS Portable battery-powered instruments Digital gain and offset adjustment Programmable voltage and current sources Programmable attenuators Industrial process control

AD7980ARMZRL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7980 is a 16-bit, successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single power supply, VDD. It contains a low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the CNV rising edge, it samples an analog input IN+ between 0 V to REF with respect to a ground sense IN−. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage, VDD. Its power scales linearly with throughput. The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy-chain several ADCs on a single, 3-wire bus and provides an optional busy indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic, using the separate supply VIO.The AD7980 is housed in a 10-lead MSOP or a 10-lead QFN (LFCSP) with operation specified from −40°C to +125°C.APPLICATIONSAutomated test equipmentData acquisition systemsMedical instrumentsMachine automation

The AD8061/AD8062/AD8063 are rail-to-rail output voltage feedback amplifiers offering ease of use and low cost. They have a bandwidth and slew rate typically found in current feedback amplifiers. All have a wide input common-mode voltage range and output voltage swing, making them easy to use on single supplies as low as 2.7 V.Despite being low cost, the AD8061/AD8062/AD8063 provide excellent overall performance. For video applications, their differential gain and phase errors are 0.01% and 0.04° into a 150 Ω load, along with 0.1 dB flatness out to 30 MHz. Addi-tionally, they offer wide bandwidth to 300 MHz along with 650 V/μs slew rate. The AD8061/AD8062/AD8063 offer a typical low power of 6.8 mA/amplifier, while being capable of delivering up to 50 mA of load current. The AD8063 has a power-down disable feature that reduces the supply current to 400 μA. These features make the AD8063 ideal for portable and battery-powered applications where size and power are critical.ApplicationsImagingPhotodiode preamps Professional video and cameras Handsets DVDs/CDs Base stations Filters ADC drivers Clock buffers
