The ADA4800 is a voltage buffer amplifier integrated with an active load. The buffer is a low power, high speed, low noise, high slew rate, fast settling, fixed gain of 1 monolithic amplifier for charge-coupled device (CCD) applications. For CCD applications, the active load current source (IAL) can load the open source CCD sensor outputs and the buffer can drive the AFE load. The active current load can also be switched off, to use the ADA4800 as just a unity gain buffer. The buffer consumes only 20 mW of static power. In applications where power savings is critical, the ADA4800 features a power save mode (see the Power Save Mode section), which further reduces the total current consumption. The bandwidth of the ADA4800 buffer is also fully adjustable through the IDRV pin.The buffer of the ADA4800 employs a push-pull output stage architecture, providing drive current and maximum slew capability for both rising and falling signal transitions. At a 5 mA quiescent current setting, it provides 400 MHz, −3 dB bandwidth, which makes this buffer well suited for CCD sensors from machine vision to digital still camera applications.The ADA4800 is ideal for driving the input of the Analog Devices, Inc., 12-bit and 14-bit high resolution analog front ends (AFE) such as the AD9928, AD9990, AD9920A, AD9923A, and AD997x family.The versatility of the ADA4800 allows for seamless interfacing with many CCD sensors from various manufacturers.The ADA4800 is designed to operate at supply voltages as low as 4 V and up to 17 V. The ADA4610-1 is a single amplifier, the ADA4610-2 is a dual amplifier, and the ADA4610-4 is a quad amplifier.The combination of low offset, noise, and very low input bias current makes these amplifiers especially suitable for high impedance sensor amplification and precise current measurements using shunts. The ADA4807-1 is a low power, low noise, rail-to-rail voltage feedback amplifier with exceptionally high performance. It is designed to have the lowest input noise (3.1 nV/√Hz and 0.7 pA/√Hz) among high speed, rail-to-rail amplifiers in the industry while operating on only 1 mA or less of quiescent supply current, making it ideal for a wide range of applications from battery-powered, portable instrumentation to high speed systems where component density requires lower power dissipation. The ADA4807-1 operates over a wide range of supply voltages from ±1.5 V to ±5 V, as well as from +3 V to +10 V single supplies, and includes a disable feature that allows reduction of the typical quiescent supply current to 2.4 μA when asserted.For systems with high dynamic range signals, the output voltage swings to within 50 mV of each rail, maximizing the output dynamic range, and the full, rail-to-rail input stage permits input operation up to and beyond the supply rails.The ADA4807-1 features high speed performance of 200 MHz small signal −3 dB bandwidth, a 225 V/μs slew rate, and a settling time of 47 ns to 0.1% (4 V step) with a low input offset voltage of 125 μV (maximum) and 0.7 μV/°C drift. For ±5 V supplies, the HD2 is −112 dBc and HD3 is –115 dBc for a 2 V p-p, 100 kHz output signal driving a 1 kΩ load. The low distortion and fast settling time makes this amplifier ideal for driving high speed single-supply precision ADCs with up to 18-bit resolution.
