The AD625 is a precision instrumentation amplifier specifically designed to fulfill two major areas of application: 1) Circuits requiring nonstandard gains (i.e., gains not easily achievable with devices such as the AD524 and AD624). 2) Circuits requiring a low cost, precision software programmable gain amplifier.For low noise, high CMRR, and low drift the AD625JN is the most cost effective instrumentation amplifier solution available. An additional three resistors allow the user to set any gain from 1 to 10,000. The error contribution of the AD625JN is less than 0.05% gain error and under 5 ppm/°C gain TC; performance limitations are primarily determined by the external resistors. Common-mode rejection is independent of the feedback resistor matching.A software programmable gain amplifier (SPGA) can be configured with the addition of a CMOS multiplexer (or other switch network), and a suitable resistor network. Because the ON resistance of the switches is removed from the signal path, an AD625 based SPGA will deliver 12-bit precision, and can be programmed for any set of gains between 1 and 10,000, with completely user selected gain steps.For the highest precision the AD625C offers an input offset voltage drift of less than 0.25 µV/°C, output offset drift below 15 µV/°C, and a maximum nonlinearity of 0.001% at G = 1. All grades exhibit excellent ac performance; a 25 MHz gain bandwidth product, 5 V/µs slew rate and 15 µs settling time.The AD625 is available in three accuracy grades (A, B, C) for industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range, two grades (J, K) for commercial (0°C to +70°C) temperature range, and one (S) grade rated over the extended (-55°C to +125°C) temperature range.

The AD704 is a quad, low power bipolar op amp that has the low input bias current of a BiFET amplifier and offers a significantly lower IB drift over temperature. It uses superbeta bipolar input transistors to achieve picoampere input bias current levels (similar to FET input amplifiers at room temperature), while its IB typically increases only by 5× at 125°C (unlike a BiFET amp, for which IB doubles every 10°C, resulting in a 1000× increase at 125°C). In addition, the AD704 achieves 150 μV offset voltage and the low noise characteristics of a precision bipolar input op amp.Because it has only 1/20 the input bias current of an OP07, the AD704 does not require the commonly used balancing resistor. Furthermore, the current noise is 1/5 that of the OP07, which makes the AD704 usable with much higher source impedances. At 1/6 the supply current (per amplifier) of the OP07, the AD704 is better suited for today’s higher density circuit boards and battery-powered applications.The AD704 is an excellent choice for use in low frequency active filters in 12- and 14-bit data acquisition systems, in precision instrumentation, and as a high quality integrator. The AD704 is internally compensated for unity gain stability. The AD704J is rated over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The AD704A is rated over the industrial temperature of −40°C to +85°C. The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are the next generation of the AD820/AD822/AD824 single-supply, rail-to-rail output (RRO), precision junction field effect transistors (JFET) input op amps. The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 include many improvements that make them desirable as upgrades without compromising the flexibility and ease of use that makes the AD820/AD822/AD824 useful for a wide variety of applications.The input voltage range includes the negative supply and the output swings rail-to-rail. Input EMI filters increase the signal robustness in the face of closely located switching noise sources.The speed, in terms of bandwidth and slew rate, increases along with a strong output drive to improve settling time performance and enables the devices to drive the inputs of modern single-ended, successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).Voltage noise is reduced; although the supply current remains the same as the AD820/AD822/AD824, broadband noise is reduced by 25%, and 1/f is reduced by half. DC precision in the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 with half the offset and a maximum thermal drift specification added to the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4. The common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 to make the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 more suitable when used in noninverting gain and difference amplifier configurations.The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, and operate from 5 V to 30 V, with specifications at +5 V, ±5 V, and ±15 V. The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are the next generation of the AD820/AD822/AD824 single-supply, rail-to-rail output (RRO), precision junction field effect transistors (JFET) input op amps. The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 include many improvements that make them desirable as upgrades without compromising the flexibility and ease of use that makes the AD820/AD822/AD824 useful for a wide variety of applications.The input voltage range includes the negative supply and the output swings rail-to-rail. Input EMI filters increase the signal robustness in the face of closely located switching noise sources.The speed, in terms of bandwidth and slew rate, increases along with a strong output drive to improve settling time performance and enables the devices to drive the inputs of modern single-ended, successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).Voltage noise is reduced; although the supply current remains the same as the AD820/AD822/AD824, broadband noise is reduced by 25%, and 1/f is reduced by half. DC precision in the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 with half the offset and a maximum thermal drift specification added to the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4. The common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 to make the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 more suitable when used in noninverting gain and difference amplifier configurations.The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, and operate from 5 V to 30 V, with specifications at +5 V, ±5 V, and ±15 V. The ADA4622-1 is available in a 5-lead SOT-23 package and an 8-lead LFCSP package. The ADA4622-2 is available in an 8-lead SOIC_N package, an 8-lead MSOP package, and an 8-lead LFCSP package.
