ADA4505-2ARMZ-RL

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADA4505-1/ADA4505-2/ADA4505-4 are single, dual, and quad micropower amplifiers featuring rail-to-rail input and output swings while operating from a single 1.8 V to 5 V power supply or from dual ±0.9 V to ±2.5 V power supplies.Employing a new circuit technology, these low cost amplifiers offer zero input crossover distortion (excellent PSRR and CMRR performance) and very low bias current, while operating with a supply current of less than 10 μA per amplifier. This combination of features makes the ADA4505-x amplifiers ideal choices for battery-powered applications because they minimize errors due to power supply voltage variations over the lifetime of the battery and maintain high CMRR even for a rail-to-rail op amp.Remote battery-powered sensors, handheld instrumentation and consumer equipment, hazard detectors (for example, smoke, fire, and gas), and patient monitors can benefit from the features of the ADA4505-x amplifiers. The ADA4505-x family is specified for both the industrial temperature range (−40°C to +85°C) and the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The ADA4505-1 single amplifier is available in a tiny 5-lead SOT-23. The ADA4505-2 dual amplifier is available in a standard 8-lead MSOP and a 8-ball WLCSP. The ADA4505-4 quad amplifier is available in a 14-lead TSSOP and a 14-ball WLCSP.The ADA4505-x family is a member of a growing series of zero crossover op amps offered by Analog Devices, Inc., including the AD8506/AD8508, which also operate from a single 1.8 V to 5 V power supply or from dual ±0.9 V to ±2.5 V power supplies.Applications Pressure and position sensors Remote security Medical monitors Battery-powered consumer equipment Hazard detectors

AD823AARMZ-R7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD823A is a dual precision, 17 MHz, JFET input op amp manufactured in the extra fast complementary bipolar (XFCB) process. The AD823A can operate from a single supply of 3 V to 36 V or from dual supplies of ±1.5 V to ±18 V. It has true single-supply capability with an input voltage range extending below ground in single-supply mode. Output voltage swing extends to within 20 mV of each rail for IOUT ≤ 100 μA, providing outstanding output dynamic range. It also has a linear output current of 40 mA, 0.5 V from the supply rails. An offset voltage of 700 μV maximum, an offset voltage drift of 1 μV/°C, and typical input bias currents of 0.3 pA provide dc precision with source impedances up to 1 GΩ. The AD823A provides 17 MHz, −3 dB bandwidth, and a 30 V/μs slew rate with a low supply current of only 2.6 mA per amplifier. It also provides low input voltage noise of 14 nV/√Hz and −108 dB SFDR at 20 kHz. The AD823A has low input capacitances (0.6 pF differential and 1.3 pF common mode) and drives more than 500 pF of direct capacitive load as a follower. This lets the amplifier handle a wide range of load conditions. This combination of ac and dc performance, plus the outstanding load drive capability, results in an exceptionally versatile amplifier for applications such as ADC drivers, high speed active filters, and other low voltage, high dynamic range systems. The AD823A is available over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C and is offered in an 8-lead SOIC package and an 8-lead MSOP package.APPLICATIONS Battery-powered precision instrumentation Photodiode preamps Active filters 12-bit to 16-bit data acquisition systems Medical instrumentation

AD8244ARMZ-R7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8244 is a precision, low power, FET input, quad unity-gain buffer that is designed to isolate very large source impedances from the rest of the signal chain. The 2 pA maximum bias current, near zero current noise, and 10 TΩ input impedance introduce almost no error, even with source impedance well into the megaohms. Many traditional operational amplifier pinouts have a supply pin that is next to the noninverting input. A guard trace must be routed between these pins to avoid leakage currents much larger than the bias current of a FET input op amp. Guard traces can be routed between pins for large packages, such as DIP or even SOIC; however, the board area consumed by these packages is prohibitive for many modern applications. The AD8244 solves this problem with a unique pinout that physically separates the high impedance inputs from the low impedance supplies and outputs of the other buffers. This configuration simplifies guarding while reducing board space, allowing high performance and high density in the same design. The AD8244 design is focused on solving problems specific to buffers. This includes close channel-to-channel matching which allows channels of the AD8244 to be used in differential signal chains with minimal error. With its low voltage noise, wide supply range, and high precision, the AD8244 is also flexible enough to provide high performance anywhere a unity-gain buffer is needed, even with low source resistance. The AD8244 is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. It is available in a 10-lead MSOP package.APPLICATIONSBiopotential electrodesMedical instrumentationHigh impedance sensor conditioningFiltersPhotodiode amplifiers

AD8421BRMZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8421 is a low cost, low power, extremely low noise, ultralow bias current, high speed instrumentation amplifier that is ideally suited for a broad spectrum of signal conditioning and data acquisition applications. This product features extremely high CMRR, allowing it to extract low level signals in the presence of high frequency common-mode noise over a wide temperature range. The 10 MHz bandwidth, 35 V/µs slew rate, and 0.6 µs settling time to 0.001% (G = 10) allow the AD8421 to amplify high speed signals and excel in applications that require high channel count, multiplexed systems. Even at higher gains, the current feedback architecture maintains high performance; for example, at G = 100, the bandwidth is 2 MHz and the settling time is 0.8 µs. The AD8421 has excellent distortion performance, making it suitable for use in demanding applications such as vibration analysis. The AD8421 delivers industry-leading 3 nV/√Hz input voltage noise and 200 fA/√Hz current noise with only 2 mA quiescent current, making it an ideal choice for measuring low level signals. For applications with high source impedance, the AD8421 employs innovative process technology and design techniques to provide noise performance that is limited only by the sensor. The AD8421 uses unique protection methods to ensure robust inputs while still maintaining very low noise. This protection allows input voltages up to 40 V from the opposite supply rail without damage to the part. A single resistor sets gains between 1 and 10,000. The reference pin can be used to apply a precise offset to the output voltage. The AD8421 performance is specified from −40°C to +85°C for the 8-lead MSOP and SOIC packages, and from −40°C to 125°C for the 8-lead LFCSP package.Applications Medical instrumentation Precision data acquisition Microphone preamplification Vibration analysis Multiplexed input applications ADC driver
