It offers the excellent dc characteristics of the AD711 BiFET family with enhanced settling, slew rate, and bandwidth. The AD744 also offers the option of using custom compensation to achieve exceptional capacitive load drive capability.The single-pole response of the AD744 provides fast settling: 500 ns to 0.01%. This feature, combined with its high dc precision, makes it suitable for use as a buffer amplifier for 12-bit, 14-bit or 16-bit DACs and ADCs. The AD790 is a fast (45 ns), precise voltage comparator, with a number of features that make it exceptionally versatile and easy to use. The AD790 may operate from either a single +5 V supply or a dual ±15 V supply. In the single-supply mode, the AD790's inputs maybe referred to ground, a feature not found in other comparators. In the dual-supply mode it has the unique ability of handling a maximum differential voltage of 15 V across its input terminals, easing their interfacing to large amplitude and dynamic signals.The device is fabricated using Analog Devices' Complementary Bipolar (CB) process - which gives the AD790's combination of fast response time and outstanding input voltage resolution (1mV max). To preserve its speed and accuracy, the AD790 incorporates a 'low glitch' output stage that does not exhibit the large current spikes normally found in TTL or CMOS output stages. Its controlled switching reduces power supply disturbances that can feed back to the input and cause undesired oscillations. The AD790 also has a latching function which makes it suitable for applications requiring synchronous operation.The AD790 is available in five performance grades. The AD790J and the AD790K are rated over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The AD790a and AD790B are rated over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. The AD790S is rated over the military temperature range of −55°C to +125°C and is available to MIL-STD-883B, Rev. C.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The AD790’s combination of speed, precision, versatility and low cost makes it suitable as a general purpose comparator in analog signal processing and data acquisition systems. Built-in hysteresis and a low-glitch output stage minimize the chance of unwanted oscillations, making the AD790 easier to use than standard open-loop comparators. The hysteresis combined with a wide input voltage range enables the AD790 to respond to both slow, low level (e.g., 10 mV) signals and fast, large amplitude (e.g., 10 V) signals. A wide variety of supply voltages is acceptable for operation of the AD790, ranging from single 5 V to dual +5 V/–12 V, ±5 V, or +5 V/±15 V supplies. The AD790’s power dissipation is the lowest of any comparator in its speed range. The AD8040 is a quad, rail-to-rail input and output high speed amplifier with a quiescent current of only 1.3 mA per amplifier. Despite its low power consumption, the amplifier provides excellent performance with 125MHz small signal bandwidth and 60 V/µs slew rate. ADI's proprietary XFCB process enables high speed and high performance on low power.This amplifier exhibits true single-supply operation with rail-to-rail input and output performance for supply voltages ranging from 2.7V to 12V. The input voltage range extends 200 mV beyond each rail without phase reversal. The dynamic range of the output extends to within 40 mV of each rail.The AD8040 provides excellent signal quality with minimal power dissipation. At G=+1, SFDR is -72dBc at 1MHz and settling time to 0.1% is only 80 ns. Low distortion and fast settling performance makes this amplifier a suitable driver for single-supply A/D converters.The versatility of the AD8040 allows the user to operate the amplifier on a wide range of supplies while consuming less than 6.5 mW of power. This feature extends the operation time in applications ranging from battery-powered systems with large bandwidth requirements to high speed systems where component density requires lower power dissipation.The amplifier is rated over the extended industrial temperature range, -40°C to +125°C.

The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 2.2 W of continuous outputpower with less than 1% THD + N driving a 4 Ω load from a5.0 V supply. It has built-in thermal shutdown and output short-circuitprotection.The SSM2305 features a high efficiency, low noise modulationscheme that does not require external LC output filters. The modulationprovides high efficiency even at low output power. TheSSM2305 operates with 90% efficiency at 1.3 W into 8 Ω or 83%efficiency at 2.2 W into 4 Ω from a 5.0 V supply and has an SNR of>98 dB. Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used toprovide lower EMI-radiated emissions compared with otherClass-D architectures.The SSM2305 has a micropower shutdown mode with a maximumshutdown current of 30 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga Logic 0 to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-clicksuppression circuitry. This minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, thus reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.The fully differential input of the SSM2305 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The SSM2305 has excellent rejection of power supply noise,including noise caused by GSM transmission bursts and RFrectification. PSRR is typically 60 dB at 217 Hz.The default gain of the SSM2305 is 18 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors.The SSM2305 is specified over the commercial temperature range(−40°C to +85°C). The OP177 features one of the highest precision performance ofany operational amplifier currently available. Offset voltage of theOP177 is only 25 μV maximum at room temperature. The ultralowVOS of the OP177 combines with the exceptional offset voltagedrift (TCVOS) of 0.3 μV/°C maximum to eliminate the need forexternal VOS adjustment and increases system accuracy overtemperature.The OP177 open-loop gain of 12 V/μV is maintained over the full±10 V output range. CMRR of 130 dB minimum, PSRR of 120 dBminimum, and maximum supply current of 2 mA are just a fewexamples of the excellent performance of this operational amplifier.The combination of outstanding specifications of the OP177ensures accurate performance in high closed-loop gainapplications. This low noise, bipolar input operational amplifier is also a costeffective alternative to chopper-stabilized amplifiers. The OP177provides chopper-type performance without the usual problemsof high noise, low frequency chopper spikes, large physical size,limited common-mode input voltage range, and bulky externalstorage capacitors.The OP177 is offered in the −40°C to +85°C extended industrialtemperature ranges. This product is available in 8-lead PDIP, aswell as the space saving 8-lead SOIC.
