This amplifier has ultralow offset, drift, and bias current. The AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 are wide bandwidth auto-zero amplifiers featuring rail-to-rail input and output swing and low noise. Operation is fully specified from 2.7 V to 5 V single supply (±1.35 V to ±2.5 V dual supply).The AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 provide benefits previously found only in expensive auto-zeroing or chopper-stabilized amplifiers. Using Analog Devices, Inc., topology, these zero-drift amplifiers combine low cost with high accuracy and low noise. No external capacitor is required. In addition, the AD8628/ AD8629/AD8630 greatly reduce the digital switching noise found in most chopper-stabilized amplifiers.With an offset voltage of only 1 μV, drift of less than 0.005 μV/°C, and noise of only 0.5 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 are suited for applications where error sources cannot be tolerated. Position and pressure sensors, medical equipment, and strain gage amplifiers benefit greatly from nearly zero drift over their operating temperature range. Many systems can take advantage of the rail-to-rail input and output swings provided by the AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 to reduce input biasing complexity and maximize SNR.The AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 are specified for the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The AD8628 is available in tiny 5-lead TSOT, 5-lead SOT-23, and 8-lead narrow SOIC plastic packages. The AD8629 is available in the standard 8-lead narrow SOIC and MSOP plastic packages. The AD9631/AD9632 are very high speed and wide bandwidth amplifiers. The AD9631 is unity gain stable. The AD9632 is stable at gains of 2 or greater. Using a voltage feedback architecture, the exceptional settling time, bandwidth, and low distortion of the AD9631/AD9632 meet the requirements of many applications that previously depended on current feedback amplifiers. Its classical op amp structure works much more predictably in many designs.A proprietary design architecture has produced an amplifier that combines many of the best characteristics of both current feedback and voltage feedback amplifiers. The AD9631/AD9632 exhibit exceptionally fast and accurate pulse response (16 ns to 0.01%) as well as extremely wide small signal and large signal bandwidth and ultralow distortion. The AD9631 achieves −72 dBc at 20 MHz, 320 MHz small signal bandwidth, and 175 MHz large signal bandwidths.These characteristics position the AD9631/AD9632 ideally for driving flash as well as high resolution ADCs. Additionally, the balanced high impedance inputs of the voltage feedback architecture allow maximum flexibility when designing active filters.The AD9631/AD9632 are offered in the industrial (−40°C to +85°C) temperature range. The AD96685 and AD96687 are ultrafast voltage comparators. The AD96685 is a single comparator with 2.5 ns propagation delay; the AD96687 is an equally fast dual comparator. Both devices feature 50 ps propagation delay dispersion which is a particularly important characteristic of high speed comparators. It is a measure of the difference in propagation delay under differing overdrive conditions.A fast, high precision differential input stage permits consistent propagation delay with a wide variety of signals in the common-mode range from -2.5 V to +5 V. Outputs are complementary digital signals fully compatible with ECL 10 K and 10 KH logic families. The outputs provide sufficient drive current to directly drive transmission lines terminated in 50 Ohm to -2 V. A level sensitive latch input is included which permits tracking, track-hold, or sample-hold modes of operation.The AD96685 and AD96687 are available in both industrial, -25°C to +85°C, and military temperature ranges. The ADN2892 is a 4.25 Gbps limiting amplifier with integratedloss of signal (LOS) detection circuitry and a received signalstrength indicator (RSSI). This part is optimized for FibreChannel (FC) and Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) optoelectronicconversion applications. The ADN2892 has a differential inputsensitivity of 3.5 mV p-p and accepts up to a 2.0 V p-pdifferential input overload voltage. The ADN2892 has currentmode logic (CML) outputs with controlled rise and fall times.The ADN2892 has a selectable low-pass filter with a −3 dBcutoff frequency of 1.5 GHz. By setting BW_SEL to Logic 0, thefilter can limit the relaxation oscillation of a low cost CD laserused in a legacy 1 Gbps FC transmitter. The limited BW alsoreduces the rms noise and in turn improves the receiver opticalsensitivity for a lower data rate application, such as 1× FC andGbE.By monitoring the bias current through a photodiode, the onchipRSSI detector measures the average power received with2% typical linearity over the entire valid input range of thephotodiode. The on-chip RSSI detector facilitates SFF-8472-compliant optical transceivers by eliminating the need forexternal RSSI detector circuitry.Additional features include a programmable loss-of-signal(LOS) detector and output squelch.
