The HMC515LP5(E) is a GaAs InGaP Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) MMIC VCO. The HMC515LP5(E) integrates resonators, negative resistance devices, varactor diodes and feature half frequency and divide-by-4 outputs. The VCO’s phase noise performance is excellent over temperature, shock, and process due to the oscillator’s monolithic structure. Power output is +10 dBm typical from a +5V supply voltage. The prescaler function can be disabled to conserve current if not required. The LTC6951 is a high performance, low noise, Phase Locked Loop (PLL) with a fully integrated VCO. The low noise VCO uses no external components and is internally calibrated to the correct output frequency with no external system support.The clock generation section provides five outputs based on the VCO prescaler signal with individual dividers for each output. The ADF41020 frequency synthesizer can be used to implement local oscillators as high as 18 GHz in the up conversion and down conversion sections of wireless receivers and transmitters. It consists of a low noise, digital phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump, a programmable reference divider, and high frequency programmable feedback dividers (A, B, and P). A complete phase-locked loop (PLL) can be implemented if the synthesizer is used with an external loop filter and voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). The synthesizer can be used to drive external microwave VCOs via an active loop filter.
