AD7542GBQ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7542 is a precision 12-bit CMOS multiplying DAC designed for direct interface to 4- or 8-bit microprocessors. The functional diagram shows the AD7542 to consist of three 4-bit data registers, a 12-bit DAC register, address decoding logic and a 12-bit CMOS multiplying DAC. Data is loaded into the data registers in three 4-bit bytes, and subsequently transferred to the 12-bit DAC register. All data loading or data transfer operations are identical to the WRITE cycle of a static RAM. A clear input allows the DAC register to be easily reset to all zeros when powering up the device.

AD7765BRUZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7765 is a high performance, 24-bit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It combines wide input bandwidth, high speed, and performance of 112 dB dynamic range at a 156 kHz output data rate. With excellent dc specifications, the converter is ideal for high speed data acquisition of ac signals where dc data is also required.Using the AD7765 eases front-end antialias filtering requirements, simplifying the design process significantly. The AD7765 offers pin-selectable decimation rates of 128× and 256×. Other features include an integrated buffer to drive the reference, as well as a fully differential amplifier to buffer and level shift the input to the modulator. An overrange alert pin indicates when an input signal exceeds the acceptable range. The addition of internal gain and internal overrange registers makes the AD7765 a compact, highly integrated data acquisition device requiring minimal peripheral components. The AD7765 also offers a low power mode, significantly reducing power dissipation without reducing the output data rate or available input bandwidth. The differential input is sampled at up to 40 MSPS by an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by a series of low-pass filters. The external clock frequency applied to the AD7765 determines the sample rate, filter corner frequencies, and output word rate. The AD7765 device boasts a full band on-board FIR filter. The full stop-band attenuation of the filter is achieved at the Nyquist frequency. This feature offers increased protection from signals that lie above the Nyquist frequency being aliased back into the input signal bandwidth. The reference voltage supplied to the AD7765 determines the input range. With a 4 V reference, the analog input range is ±3.2768 V differential, biased around a common mode of 2.048 V. This common-mode biasing is achieved using the on-chip differential amplifier, further reducing the external signal conditioning requirements. The AD7765 is available in a 28-lead TSSOP package and is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.APPLICATIONS Data acquisition systems Vibration analysis Instrumentation

The AD7804/AD7808 are quad/octal 10-bit digital-to-analog converters, with serial load capabilities, while the AD7805/AD7809 are quad/octal 10-bit digital-to-analog converters with parallel load capabilities. These parts operate from a +3.3 V to +5 V (10%) power supply and incorporates an on-chip reference. These DACs provide output signals in the form of VBIAS VSWING. VSWING is derived internally from VBIAS. On-chip control registers include a system control register and channel control registers. The system control register has control over all DACs in the package. The channel control registers allow individual control of DACs. The complete transfer function of each individual DAC can be shifted around the VBIAS point using an on-chip Sub DAC. All DACs contain double buffered data inputs, which allow all analog outputs to be simultaneously updated using the asynchronous LDAC input. The AD7818 and AD7817 are 10-bit, single- and 4-channel A/D converters with on-chip temperature sensor that can operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply. Each part contains a 9 μs successive-approximation converter based around a capacitor DAC, an on-chip temperature sensor with an accuracy of ±2°C, an on-chip clock oscillator, inherent track-and-hold functionality and an on-chip reference (2.5 V). The AD7816 is a temperature monitoring only device in a SOIC/MSOP package. The on-chip temperature sensor of the AD7817 and AD7818 can be accessed via Channel 0. When Channel 0 is selected and a conversion is initiated, the resulting ADC code at the end of the conversion gives a measurement of the ambient temperature with a resolution of ±0.25°C. See Temperature Measurement section of this data sheet. The AD7816, AD7817, and AD7818 have a flexible serial interface that allows easy interfacing to most microcontrollers. The interface is compatible with the Intel 8051, Motorola SPI® and QSPI™ protocols and National Semiconductors MICROWIRE™ protocol. For more information refer to the Serial Interface section of this data sheet. The AD7817 is available in a narrow body 0.15' 16-lead small outline IC (SOIC), in a 16-lead, thin shrink small outline package (TSSOP), while the AD7816 / AD7818 come in an 8-lead small outline IC (SOIC) and an 8-lead microsmall outline IC (MSOP).PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The devices have an on-chip temperature sensor that allows an accurate measurement of the ambient temperature to be made. The measurable temperature range is −55°C to +125°C. An overtemperature indicator is implemented by carrying out a digital comparison of the ADC code for Channel 0 (temperature sensor) with the contents of the on-chip overtemperature register. The overtemperature indicator pin goes logic low when a predetermined temperature is exceeded. The automatic power-down feature enables the AD7817 and AD7818 to achieve superior power performance at slower throughput rates, that is, 40 μW at 1 kSPS throughput rate.APPLICATIONS Data acquisition systems with ambient temperature monitoring Industrial process control Automotive Battery charging applications

The AD9203 is a monolithic low power, single supply, 10-bit, 40 MSPS analog-to-digital converter with an on-chip voltage reference. It uses a multistage differential pipeline architecture at 40 MSPS data rate and guarantees no missing codes over the full operating temperature range. Its input range may be adjusted between 1 V and 2 VP-P.The ADC has an on-board programmable reference. An external reference can also be chosen to suit the DC accuracy and temperature drift requirements of an application. An external resistor can be used to reduce power consumption when operating at lower sampling rates.A single clock input is used to control all internal conversion cycles. The digital output data is presented in straight binary or two's complement output format. An out-of-range signal (OTR) indicates an over-flow condition that can be used with the most significant bit to determine over-flow or under-flow. The AD9203 can operate with a supply range from 2.7 V to 3.6 V, attractive for low power operation in high-speed portable applications.Fabricated on an advanced CMOS process, the AD9203 is available in a 28-pin thin shrink small outline package (28 TSSOP) specified over the industrial temperature range (−40°C to +85°C).
