ADE7757ARNZRL

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADE7757 is an accurate electrical energy measurement integrated circuit. It is a pin reduction version of ADE7755 with an enhancement of a precise oscillator circuit that serves as a clock source to the chip. The ADE7757 eliminates the cost of an external crystal or resonator, thus reducing the overall cost of a meter built with this IC. The chip directly interfaces with shunt resistor. The ADE7757 provides instantaneous and average real power based on line current and voltage. The part specifications surpass the accuracy requirements as quoted in the IEC61036 standard. The only analog circuitry used in the ADE7757 is in the ADCs and reference circuit. All other signal processing (e.g., multiplication and filtering) is carried out in the digital domain. This approach provides superior stability and accuracy over extremes in environmental conditions and over time. The small analog input full-scale allows the chip to interface to low value shunt resistances without losing dynamic range. The ADE7757 is available in 16-lead SOIC narrow-body package. The Application Note AN-679 can be used as a basis for a description of an IEC61036 low cost, watt-hour meter reference design.NOTE: For polyphase system designs, the ADE7752A is recommended.

DAC8412FPZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The DAC8412 / DAC8413 are quad, 12-bit voltage output DACs with readback capability. Built using a complementary BiCMOS process, these monolithic DACs offer the user very high package density.Output voltage swing is set by the two reference inputs VREFH and VREFL. By setting the VREFL input to 0 V and VREFH to a positive voltage, the DAC provides a unipolar positive output range. A similar configuration with VREFH at 0 V and VREFL at a negative voltage provides a unipolar negative output range. Bipolar outputs are configured by connecting both VREFH and VREFL to nonzero voltages. This method of setting output voltage range has advantages over other bipolar offsetting methods because it is not dependent on internal and external resistors with different temperature coefficients.Digital controls allow the user to load or read back data from any DAC, load any DAC, and transfer data to all DACs at one time.An active low RESET loads all DAC output registers to midscale for the DAC8412 and zero scale for the DAC8413.The DAC8412 / DAC8413 are available in 28-lead plastic DIP, 28-lead ceramic DIP, 28-lead PLCC, and 28-lead LCC packages. They can be operated from a wide variety of supply and reference voltages with supplies ranging from single +5 V to ±15 V, and references from +2.5 V to ±10 V. Power dissipation is less than 330 mW with ±15 V supplies and only 60 mW with a +5 V supply. For MIL-STD-883 applications, contact your local Analog Devices, Inc. sales office for the DAC8412/DAC8413/883 data sheet, which specifies operation over the −55°C to +125°C temperature range. The LTC2450-1 is a low power, ultra-tiny 16-bit analog-to-digital converter designed for space constrained applications requiring 16-bit performance. The LTC2450-1 uses a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, accepts a single-ended analog input voltage, and communicates through an SPI interface. It includes an integrated oscillator that does not require any external components. The delta-sigma modulator converter core provides single-cycle settling time for multiplexed applications. The converter is available in a 6-pin, 2mm x 2mm DFN package. The LTC2450-1 implements a proprietary input sampling scheme that reduces the average input sampling current several orders of magnitude. The LTC2450-1 is capable of up to 60 conversions per second and, due to the very large oversampling ratio, has extremely relaxed antialiasing requirements. The converter uses its power supply voltage as the reference voltage and the single-ended, rail-to-rail input voltage range extends from GND to VCC.Following a conversion, the LTC2450-1 can automatically enter a sleep mode and reduce its power to less than 500nA. At an output rate of 1Hz, the LTC2450-1 consumes an average of less than 25µW from a 2.7V supply.Applications System Monitoring Environmental Monitoring Direct Temperature Measurements Instrumentation Industrial Process Control Data Acquisition Embedded ADC Upgrades

The LTC2630 is a family of 12-, 10-, and 8-bit voltage output DACs with an integrated, high-accuracy, low-drift reference in a 6-lead SC70 package. It has a rail-to-rail output buffer and is guaranteed monotonic. The LTC2630-L has a full-scale output of 2.5V, and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The LTC2630-H has a full-scale output of 4.096V, and operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply. Each DAC can also operate in supply as reference mode, which sets the full-scale output to the supply voltage. The parts use a simple SPI/MICROWIRE™ compatible 3-wire serial interface which operates at clock rates up to 50MHz.The LTC2630 incorporates a power-on reset circuit. The LTC2302/LTC2306 are low noise, 500ksps, 1-/2-channel, 12-bit ADCs with an SPI/MICROWIRE compatible serial interface. These ADCs include a fully differential sample-and-hold circuit to reduce common mode noise. The internal conversion clock allows the external serial output data clock (SCK) to operate at any frequency up to 40MHz. The LTC2302/LTC2306 operate from a single 5V supply and draw just 2.8mA at a sample rate of 500ksps. The auto-shutdown feature reduces the supply current to 14μA at a sample rate of 1ksps. The LTC2302/LTC2306 are packaged in a tiny 10-pin 3mm x 3mm DFN. The low power consumption and small size make the LTC2302/LTC2306 ideal for battery-operated and portable applications, while the 4-wire SPI compatible serial interface makes these ADCs a good match for isolated or remote data acquisition systems.Applications High Speed Data Acquisition Industrial Process Control Motor Control Accelerometer Measurements Battery-Operated Instruments Isolated and/or Remote Data Acquisition

The AD5426 / AD5432 / AD5443 EVAL-AD5443SDZ / EVAL-AD5446SDZ / EVAL-AD5453SDZ are CMOS 8-, 10-, and 12-bit current output digital-to-analog converters (DACs), respectively. These devices operate from a 2.5 V to 5.5 V power supply, making them suitable for battery-powered applications and many other applications. These DACs use a double buffered, 3-wire serial interface that is compatible with SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and most DSP interface standards. In addition, a serial data out pin (SDO) allows for daisy-chaining when multiple packages are used. Data readback allows the user to read the contents of the DAC register via the SDO pin. On power-up, the internal shift register and latches are filled with 0s and the DAC outputs are at zero scale. As a result of manufacturing on a CMOS submicron process, the parts offer excellent 4-quadrant multiplication characteristics with large signal multiplying bandwidths of 10 MHz. The applied external reference input voltage, VREF, determines the full-scale output current. An integrated feedback resistor, RFB, provides temperature tracking and full-scale voltage output when combined with an external current to voltage precision amplifier. The AD5426 / AD5432 / AD5443 EVAL-AD5443SDZ / EVAL-AD5446SDZ / EVAL-AD5453SDZ DACs are available in small, 10-lead MSOP packages. The EVAL-AD5443SDZ / EVAL-AD5446SDZ / EVAL-AD5453SDZ evaluation board is available for evaluating DAC performance.
