AD7765BRUZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7765 is a high performance, 24-bit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It combines wide input bandwidth, high speed, and performance of 112 dB dynamic range at a 156 kHz output data rate. With excellent dc specifications, the converter is ideal for high speed data acquisition of ac signals where dc data is also required.Using the AD7765 eases front-end antialias filtering requirements, simplifying the design process significantly. The AD7765 offers pin-selectable decimation rates of 128× and 256×. Other features include an integrated buffer to drive the reference, as well as a fully differential amplifier to buffer and level shift the input to the modulator. An overrange alert pin indicates when an input signal exceeds the acceptable range. The addition of internal gain and internal overrange registers makes the AD7765 a compact, highly integrated data acquisition device requiring minimal peripheral components. The AD7765 also offers a low power mode, significantly reducing power dissipation without reducing the output data rate or available input bandwidth. The differential input is sampled at up to 40 MSPS by an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by a series of low-pass filters. The external clock frequency applied to the AD7765 determines the sample rate, filter corner frequencies, and output word rate. The AD7765 device boasts a full band on-board FIR filter. The full stop-band attenuation of the filter is achieved at the Nyquist frequency. This feature offers increased protection from signals that lie above the Nyquist frequency being aliased back into the input signal bandwidth. The reference voltage supplied to the AD7765 determines the input range. With a 4 V reference, the analog input range is ±3.2768 V differential, biased around a common mode of 2.048 V. This common-mode biasing is achieved using the on-chip differential amplifier, further reducing the external signal conditioning requirements. The AD7765 is available in a 28-lead TSSOP package and is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.APPLICATIONS Data acquisition systems Vibration analysis Instrumentation

DAC8512FSZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The DAC8512 is a complete serial input, 12-bit, voltage output digital-to-analog converter designed to operate from a single +5 V supply. It contains the DAC, input shift register and latches, reference and a rail-to-rail output amplifier. Built using a CBCMOS process, these monolithic DACs offer the user low cost, and ease of use in +5 V only systems.Coding for the DAC8512 is natural binary with the MSB loaded first. The output op amp can swing to either rail and is set to a range of 0 V to +4.095 V-for a one-millivolt-per-bit resolution. It is capable of sinking and sourcing 5 mA. An on-chip reference is laser trimmed to provide an accurate full-scale output voltage of 4.095 V.Serial interface is high speed, three-wire, DSP compatible with data in (SDI), clock(CLK) and load strobe (LD). There is also a chip-select pin for connecting multiple DACs.A CLR input sets the output to zero scale at power on or upon user demand. The DAC8512 is specified over the extended industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range. DAC8512s are available in plastic DIPs and SO-8 surface mount packages.

AD7706BRUZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7705 / AD7706 are complete analog front ends for low frequency measurement applications. These 2-/3-channel devices can accept low level input signals directly from a transducer and produce serial digital output. The devices employ a Σ-Δ conversion technique to realize up to 16 bits of no missing codes performance. The selected input signal is applied to a proprietary, programmable-gain front end based around an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by an on-chip digital filter. The first notch of this digital filter can be programmed via an on-chip control register, allowing adjustment of the filter cutoff and output update rate. The AD7705 / AD7706 devices operate from a single 2.7 V to 3.3 V or 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply. The AD7705 features two fully differential analog input channels; the AD7706 features three pseudo differential input channels. Both devices feature a differential reference input. Input signal ranges of 0 mV to 20 mV through 0 V to 2.5 V can be incorporated on both devices when operating with a VDD of 5 V and a reference of 2.5 V. They can also handle bipolar input signal ranges of ±20 mV through ±2.5 V, which are referenced to the AIN(−) inputs on the AD7705 and to the COMMON input on the AD7706.The AD7705 / AD7706 devices, with a 3 V supply and a 1.225 V reference, can handle unipolar input signal ranges of 0 mV to 10 mV through 0 V to 1.225 V. The devices can accept bipolar input ranges of ±10 mV through ±1.225 V. Therefore, the AD7705 / AD7706 devices perform all signal conditioning and conversion for a 2-channel or 3-channel system. The AD7705 / AD7706 are ideal for use in smart, microcontroller, or DSP-based systems. The devices feature a serial interface that can be configured for 3-wire operation. Gain settings, signal polarity, and update rate selection can be configured in software using the input serial port. The parts contains self-calibration and system calibration options to eliminate gain and offset errors on the part itself or in the system. CMOS construction ensures very low power dissipation, and the power-down mode reduces the standby power consumption to 20 μW typ. These parts are available in a 16-lead, wide body (0.3 inch), plastic dual in-line package (DIP); a 16-lead, wide body (0.3 inch), standard small outline (SOIC) package; and a low profile, 16-lead, thin shrink small outline package (TSSOP).

AD7988-5BRMZ-RL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7988-1/AD7988-5 are 16-bit, successive approximation,analog-to-digital converters (ADC) that operate from a singlepower supply, VDD. The AD7988-1 offers a 100 kSPS throughput, and the AD7988-5 offers a 500 kSPS throughput. They are lowpower, 16-bit sampling ADCs with a versatile serial interfaceport. On the CNV rising edge, they sample an analog input,IN+, between 0 V to VREF with respect to a ground sense, IN−.The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be setindependent of the supply voltage, VDD.The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability todaisy-chain several ADCs on a single 3-wire bus using the SDIinput. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic usingthe separate supply, VIO.The AD7988-1/AD7988-5 generics are housed in a 10-leadMSOP or a 10-lead LFCSP with operation specified from −40°Cto +125°C.Applications Automated test equipment Data acquisition systems Medical instruments Machine automation

AD7902BRQZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7902 is a dual 16-bit, successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single power supply, VDDx, per ADC. It contains two low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADCs and a versatile serial port interface (SPI). On the CNVx rising edge, the AD7902 samples an analog input, IN+ in the range of 0 V to VREF with respect to a ground sense, IN−. The externally applied reference voltage of the REFx pins (VREF) can be set independently from the supply voltage pins, VDDx. The power of the device scales linearly with throughput.Using the SDIx inputs, the SPI-compatible serial interface can also daisy-chain multiple ADCs on a single 3-wire bus and provide an optional busy indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic, using the separate VIOx supplies. The AD7902 is available in a 20-lead QSOP package with operation specified from −40°C to +125°C.APPLICATIONS Battery-powered equipment Communications Automated test equipment (ATE) Data acquisition Medical instrumentation Redundant measurement Simultaneous sampling
